Cultural Approach to Professional Teachers' Training
The article is devoted to the problem of professional training of the teacher able to fulfill his/her professional activity in the cultural context. The essential grounds for changing the paradigm of rational knowledge for the paradigm of cultural creation, the transition from the absolutism of knowledge, skill and ability values to the assimilation and realization of human cultural values in education are shown. Further, the cultural approach is proved to be one of the leading guiding lines In the modernization of the teacher training system. Finally, the prospects of development of a new type of education - multicultural education - are considered.
