Social and Political Views of Liberal Officialdom on West Siberia Peasantry's Juridical Status at the Beginning of the XX Century
The article is devoted to the issues of liberal movement in Siberia at the beginning of the XX Century. Siberian officialdom's social and political views on the peasantry's juridical status are examined, in particular. The development of the theme was based on studying such sources as Siberian periodicals, the materials of the Western Siberia divisions of Moscow society of agriculture and Russian geographical society, and of the interdepartmental special conference on the needs of agricultural industry, acted in 1902–1903 and published «The local committees transactions of the needs of agriculture».
