COMPUTER SIMULATION AS A MEANS OF DEVELOPMENT OF RESEARCH COMPETENCE OF STUDENTS

Information About Author:

The article deals with the study of computer simulations on different stages of the educational process, from school to university. The competencies that students acquire in the study of computer and mathematical modeling are formulated. The necessity of further development of the university competences acquired in school is proved. The author offers a new approach to teaching students of mathematical training areas mathematics and computer science by means of computer simulation. This technique is based on the principles of competence-based approach, interdisciplinary connections disciplines of mathematics and computer science, promotes the formation of research competence. The author uses this approach in teaching students of mathematical training areas at Herzen University.
