PARENTS’ RELATION TO PHYSICAL CULTURE, HEALTHY LIFESTYLE AND PHYSICAL EDUCATION OF CHILDREN

Information About Author:

The article describes significance of parents’ life position in relation to physical culture as a basis for the upbringing of a healthy child. According to the results of a sociological survey of parents of school-aged children living in the Russian Far East was determined their relation to physical culture and sports activity, healthy lifestyle and the process of pupils’ training. Determines the factors motivating parents to physical culture and sport, forms of training and recreational activity, means used for health maintenance as well as parents’ role in physical education of their children. Establishes passive relation of most parents to physical activity and physical education of their children. The results of the survey allowed to make the conclusions and to plan the ways of solving problems.
