Tendencies of the development of the creative potential of a student's personality in a non-state higher educational establishment // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2001. Issue 2 (27). P. 66-69

The article is devoted to the analysis of the development of the creative potential of students with the help of such methods as completing a questionnaire, doing tests, estimation of teachers as experts. Various indices such as availability of free time of for students of state and non-state establishments are compared, the author comes to the conclusion that creative potential induces are lowered in the senior courses of a state higher educational establishment.

The paper deals with the problem of reflecting etnospesific components in professional legal vocabulary of Modern English. The article focuses on the cognitive nature of terminology which is directly linked with peculiarities of knowledge structure represented by various terms. The contemporary complex analysis of terminological and professional lexicon is carried out within the cognitive approach to language the essence of which lies in the fact that behind any language units there are mental structures of different types. The article also poses the problem of correlation and interdependence between notion and concept. It is underlined in the article that English juridical professional vocabulary possesses considerable ethnocultural potential. A lot of English legal linguistic units have a wide spectrum of cultural connotations.
