31 | The article deals with the topical problem of influence of media texts of public informational and media language personality on mass addressee subject to pragmatically significant factors of text organization: the author, the topic, the title, the emotional tone, the usage of linguistic and non-linguistic means. The study was carried out on the basis of experiments using a scaling technique with the involvement of a focus group of informants-humanitarians aged from 20 to 50 years. The research material is the posts of different subjects in L. Ulitskaya’s blog and the texts of newspaper article and fragments of M. Veller’s program “Just think!” on the radio “Echo of Moscow”. The initial idea was that the text and its structure reflect the peculiarities of the author’s language personality, and informants’ reception and detection of invariant of data, which we obtained on the basis of the survey, allow to reveal regularities in mechanism of influence of the texts and their elements on the reader’s cognitive activity. It was determined that estimation by collective addressee of variety of speech behavior of public language personality in different genres of media discourse depends on clarity, intelligibility, perspicuity, logicality of information, topical character of subject, emotion and usage of language means of different styles. Substandard vocabulary, which is used in media texts of topical subjects, doesn’t rise to rejection if addressee feels the same emotion, but on the contrary enlarges the pragmatics of speech messages. Excessive subjective modality of public language personality in covering different social themes does not always correspond to a collective addressee, who is focused on stereotypes and restraint in relation to the utterance. The influence of media text depends to a large degree on the informational field of the author’s language personality and his emotion, though the subject of speech messages and the choice of certain genres by the public language personality are of great importance too. 32 | Pragmatics of speech behavior of public language personality subject to its individual and personal peculiarities in conditions of media communication is not still examined enough. According to this fact in the aspect of influence on mass audience individual and typical linguistic and extra linguistic peculiarities of media discourses of public language personalities of an actress Tatyana Dogileva and film director Vladimir Khotinenko as the members of radio show “Dithyramb” on radio “Echo of Moscow” were considered in the article. Comparative and contrastive analysis allowed to determine some important in the aspect of influence on collective addressee typical and individual gender peculiarities, psychological (temperament, character), social (dependence on status), professional and some speech peculiarities (preference on the level of language means, which reflect specificity of human mentality). For researching of media discourse influence of individual and personal factors of language personalities on mass addressee contextdependent and semantic and stylistic analysis of questions and comments before broadcasting and comments after broadcasting, and analysis of regulative means and structures have been used. Connection of pragmatics of public language personalities’ media discourse with their informational field have been revealed. It was determined that first of all the content of language personality’s message is important, though form of expression also matters. The common factors, which are important for media discourse of creative public language personality’s influence according to the research, are the following: high level of media discourse emotionality as a reflection of not only gender peculiarities, but even cognitive style, that is connected with figurative and metaphoric reality perception used for creative persons. With such variety of regulative means used by language personalities, repetition in aggregate with other means and structures dominates (comparison, parcelling, rhetorical questions, etc). Some individual and personal peculiarities of media discourse may increase influence effect and at the same time reduce it. The results are of interest for theory of speech influence, media linguistics, communicative stylistics of the text. 33 | The article points to research of language representation of a media communicative universal – a law of pragmatically and intentionally conditional variety of textual activity in interpretation of informational reason in mass media. Media communicative universal is defined by the author as a law and its realizing principles of textual organization, which reflect informational reason as an element of media communication and meet the criteria for frequency and repetition. Specific character of actualization of textual activity variety in interpretation of informational reason in mass media on the example of media text in the genre of news was revealed. Based on the news materials from the informational portal “Echo of Moscow” on the launch of intercontinental ballistic missile of DPRK on 28-th of November 2017 as an actual informational reason, the following principles concerning realization of such communicative universal were examined: 1) multivariety of world pictures of different native speakers and translators of information; 2) polyphony of dialogically conditional discursive practice connected with informational reason including change of communicative roles, tactics and strategies of subjects in the process of media communication; 3) social self-representation and creative self-actualization of sources and translators of informational reason in mass media. It was determined that in realization of the law of pragmatically and intentionally conditional variety of textual activity in interpretation of informational reason in mass media the connecting elements are repeated key words and markers of events, which became actual informational reason for interpretation in mass media: toponyms, anthroponyms, names of events, temporal vocabulary, dates, different actualization of space category. Variation in news texts is realized on the level of citation; means of subjective modality expression including social estimation; it’s revealed in actualization of sources of information; in degree of its concretization and peculiarities of different aspects of informational reason’s concentration. 34 | The article deals with basic periods of formation and development of communicative stylistics of text, which has been growing at the Tomsk State Pedagogical University since 1992 at the department of modern Russian and stylistics (from the end of 2017 the department of the Russian language). Peculiarities of this scientific school and factors that defined its dynamics in scientific context of linguistics at the end of XX – beginning of XXI century are described in the article. In the light of the ideas of the communicative paradigm of linguistic knowledge, in the nineties and early 2000s, the achievements of related sciences are formed that fall under the traditional and functional stylistics, functional lexicology and the theory of the communicative text: the main directions of the communicative stylistics of the text: on the verge of linguistic pragmatics – the regulative theory, on the verge of psycholinguistics – theory of text associations, on the verge of philological hermeneutics – the theory of semantic expansion of the text. Each of these areas of communicative stylistics is aimed at researching the effectiveness of dialogue between the author and the reader with the use of text. The main is the systemic and active approach to the text as a form of communication and the phenomenon of idiostyle of the language personality, which is “left” outside the text. Ideas of communicative and active approach to the text, which are realized in works of this trend, were called for the methods of teaching the Russian language. The basic periods of communicative stylistics of text development are due to new tendencies in language and speech research, connected to extension of units of analysis and to intensification of cognitive and discursive aspects of textual activity, expansion of empirical base of researches, that includes at the beginning of XXI century poetic, advertising, epistolary, media discourses. Cognitive and media vector of development is typical for modern communicative stylistics of text. It is obvious that there is the necessity of further expansion of empirical material associated with genre and style variety of up-to-date media communication, elaboration of typology of informational and media language personalities, research of cognitive aspects of their idiostyle as well as perfection of methods of different types of texts’ analysis in perspective. 35 | Introduction. The study of different aspects of cognitive activity and its reflection in various types of texts is a topical problem of cognitive linguistics and communicative theory of the text including communicative stylistics. Therein a research of associative author’s activity and addressee of a text is of great interest, particularly an analysis of associative field of poetic text in cognitive aspect in the network of regulative theory and theory of textual associations, which are elaborated in communicative stylistics of text. The aim of the article is the detection of important for the text interpretation regularities of cognitive activity of collective addressee (reader) on the basis of reactions to poetic text-stimulus and modelling of its associative field. Material and Methods of research. In concordance with the methodological base of communicative stylistics of the text for researching of textual associations, we used data of associative lexicography, results of the free associative experiment for the text perception, modelling of the text associative field on the basis of the collected data, the subsequent comparative analysis, examination of the lexical text structure and key words in image prospective of a whole verse as well as introspection method. Results. The research was done on the data of the associative experiment according to readers’ perception of a verse by M. Tsvetaeva “Сountry”. The connection of text-induced associations with its lexical structure and keywords updated by the author is substantiated in the article. The dependence of associative development of poetic text on its regulative potential and inductive lexical structure of contrast type were determined. Typical and individual readers’ associations with the text were revealed, invariant character of association ways, its conditionality by structure, semantics and pragmatics were determined. The typical ways of associations are the following: reactions that reflect emotional tone of the text, its idea and thematic originality, key words, which became actual in the text by the author, author’s elements of text lexical structure, that are commented by precise definitions, additions and abstracts. We found out reactions, which reflect visual and sound world picture as well as stimulated by emotional tone of textstimulus; reactions, which were conditioned by text theme and author’s elements of textual lexical paradigms in the text structure; reactions of cultural character, that reflect individual thesaurus of readers. All these reactions were identified among not common associations along with single not interpreted linguistically. Generality and differences of certain reactions and ways of associating in textual associative field of the verse “Сountry” by M. Tsvetaeva with main ways of associating with key word country in “The Russian Associative Dictionary” were defined. Conclusion. The proposed approach to the research of cognitive (interpretative) reader’s activity of poetic text showed that collective associative field of the text, which reflects its regulative potential and formal and semantic structure, revealed in independent associative experiment, allowed making a conclusion about some cognitive activity peculiarities of informants – subjects of text-stimulus perception. 36 | Introduction. Text interpretation problem is one of the most topical in up-to-date philology generally and in stylistics of text in particular. In this way the research of readers’ interpretative activity on the basis of experiments is of special interest, because it allows to judge steps of notional text explication in the addressee’s consciousness. The purpose of the article is to identify some patterns that are important for the interpretation activity of the collective addressee (reader) based on the methods of communicative stylistics of the text and its notional explication theory, developed in the context of this trend. Material and methods. Under the methodological base of communicative stylistics of text context and semanticstylistic analysis, a method of associative field of a key word’s modelling and experimental methodology are used in the article. It includes spare associative experiment as well as receptive experiment and modified methods of scaling by Ch. Osgud for detecting power of influence on collective addressee. Results and discussion. The research is done on the basis of experimental data on the reader’s perception of a verse “Light rain is tender, thin and delicate…” by O. E. Mandel’shtam with the use of the semantic explication theory, which is developed in the communicative stylistics of text, that realizes communicative and activity approach to the text. The theory of semantic explication of a text includes its lexical structure research, detecting of text notional paradigms of different types, their correlation, regulative means and structures analysis, textual associative field of a key word analysis versus associative field of this word, which is revealed during a spare associative experiment. Dependence of semantic explication of poetic text on its lexical structure of deductive type and author’s regulative means and structures, atributives as regulative text dominants and contrast as the main regulative method is determined in the article. Connection of interpretative readers activity (informants) with linguistic and extralinguistic aspects of pragmatic text level and its sublevels (figurative, emotional, ideal) is revealed on the basis of experimental methods. Experimental data verified the connection of the pragmatic level of the text with its informative and notional level. The factors that influence the relevant reading activities are identified. These factors are the following: author’s support to standard associations, which are stimulated by a key word, the role of lexical regulation in controlling of cognitive addressee’s of poetic text activity for revealing its deep sense. Conclusion. The introduced approach of researching interpretative readers’ of poetic text activity on the basis of its notional explication showed that the use of experimental methods with informants’ questioning makes it possible to judge about some regularities and steps of text’s and its elements’ influence on forming of common estimation and idea about text content, that readers have: the role of their informational thesaurus, ability to perceive not only deep, but also superficial sense. Dependence of a process of poetic text perception on its peculiarities – common regulative author’s strategy (explicit and implicit) and regulative means and structures and way of regulation – is detected. 37 | Introduction. Study of texts’ headlines of different styles and genres in respect to their pragmatics is of interest in view of special role in organization of readers’ cognitive activity and influence on mass addressee. Up-to-date communicative and cognitive paradigm of linguistic knowledge aims to detecting of means and ways of effective organization of communication in different spheres including mass media. The aim of the article is detection of regulative facilities of different types of headlines in newspaper articles with relation to influence on mass addressee. The material and methods. The research was carried out on the material of «Rossiyskaya Gazeta» No. 8393, 2021 [https://rg.ru/gazeta/rg/2021/03/01.html]. 63 headlines of the articles from the site of “Rossiyskaya Gazeta” had been studied, taking into account the content of these media texts; 1300 responses from 20 informants – participants of the survey– had been summarized. The research is carried out in line with regulative theory, developed in communicative stylistics of text. Results and discussion. The title of individual articles is included as an element in the headline complex of media texts of the «Rossiyskaya Gazeta». The text of newspaper publications on the site is accompanied by column, headline, notice, it includes the first paragraph of material, indication to the author, it contains hyperlinks to the other media texts, a photo that is placed before the article or beside it to realize illustrative or qualifying function. It is determined that influence function dominates in most titles, and in the others – the informative one. Regulative potential of media texts headlines is connected mostly with a motive for readers to read the articles. This is due to lack of understanding, semantic versatility of headlines and intrigue that is set up on its basis, and attracting attention of addressee on the basis of method of disappointed affectation which is used in a title due to oxymoron, tropes, precedential texts, language game, rhetorical questions, that requires participation. Therefore, range of regulative means and structures in the articles’ headlines permits stimulating readers’ attention to introduction with next by the title media texts. Based on the results of a survey of informants, their assumptions about the possible media text’s content in line to perception of a title did not match as a rule with real information in the article. It is obvious, that the lack of understanding in the titles performs primarily a pragmatic function and requires clarification and addition in the form of other accompanying media text materials, including the notice and photographs, which partly fill in the information missing in the titles. It was detected that stimulating role of a title is determined by direction to primary audience, in other words the connection of a headline that stimulates the following introduction with media text with primary audience, and addressee factor including the age of potential readers and their interests is proved. Conclusion. The introduced approach to study pragmatics of headlines as the element of media text on basis of regulative theory allows to judge some regularities in organization of cognitive activity of mass addressee and efficiency of titles’ types, which are connected with reflection of actual themes, criterion of addressee profit, medium language originality, creation of intrigue due to usage of special regulative means and methods. The surveys are of interest for media linguistics and communicative stylistics of text. Keywords: media text, headline, article, regulative theory, regulative potential of a title | 964 | ||||
38 | Introduction. The study of verbal and cognitive activity of an author and an addressee in the process of co-creation based on the text as a form of communication remains an urgent problem. The modern cognitive-discursive paradigm of scientific knowledge and development of communicative theory of text offer the challenge in the study of text as an object of perception, interpretation and understanding. The aim of the article is the detection of some linguo-cognitive mechanisms of hyperconcept forming as a result of interpretative activity by a subject perceiving the text relying on the regulative theory as one of the directions of the communicative stylistics of the text. Material and methods. The research is examined on the analysis, comparison and generalization of scientific literature on the theory and history of the issue, on the use of the methodology and conceptual and terminological apparatus of the regulative theory, on the application of conceptual, linguistic, semantic and stylistic analysis. The material for the study was the poems of famous Russian poets F. I. Tyutchev, I. A. Bunin, Z. N. Gippius, N. A. Zabolotsky. Results and discussion. The starting point is the following: the interpretation of the text by the addressee depends on linguo-cognitive mechanisms – verbal and cognitive processes that form the generalized meaning of the text (hyperconcept), stimulated by the general system of the text, including the cognitive operations of analysis, comparison, synthesis based on associative activity and an experience of a person. In identifying the hyperconcept, the regulatory strategy of the text, the methods of regulation, the regulatory means and structures which the author used in the text with an orientation towards co-creation with the addressee, “control” of his cognitive activity are important. The lexical system of the text stimulating its associative and semantic deployment in the mind of the reader is especially significant. Interpretive activity presupposes the interconnection of the concepts actualized in the text within the limits of its general conceptual structure based on the relations of complement, enhancement, contrast, inclusion, comparison, generalization. Taking this into account, relying on the regulative theory, the following linguocognitive mechanisms of hyperconcept formation were identified: 1) through amplifying-convergent mechanism, associated with the sequential strengthening of the key concept by various regulatory means and structures in the context of the inductive-deductive lexical macrostructure of the text; with repetition as a way of regulation and a regulatory strategy for the stepwise enhancement of the semantic features of the key concept; 2) closed sequentialadditional, manifested in a phased artistic-figurative concretization of various signs of a hyperconcept based on the use of a strong regulatory strategy of a homogeneous explicit type and repetition as the main way of regulation; 3) comparative-paradoxical, stimulated by the regulatory strategy of the paradoxical-contrastive type; contrast as the main method of regulation and textual paradigms of the antonymic type as a regulatory dominant; 4) comparativesynthesizing, reflecting synthesis (generalization) on the basis of parallel comparative associative-semantic deployment of different facets (features) of the key concept, stimulated by a stepped lexical macrostructure of the inductive-deductive type. Conclusion. The use of the regulative theory and its conceptual and terminological apparatus makes it possible to determine some of the patterns organized by the interpretive activity of the addressee and the linguo-cognitive mechanisms of the formation of the general meaning of the text given in the poetic text. Obtained observations are of interest for further development of the problem of notional interpretation and methods of semantic analysis of the text. 39 | The relevance of research. The requirement to develop a culture of reading among the modern reader, the importance of elaborating new methods and techniques of a literary text’s analysis, including identifying the subtextual information contained in it, an intense interest in the work of I. A. Bunin determined the relevance of the study of the writer’s fiction in the monograph by L. G. Kaida. Methods of research. A descriptive method was used, including techniques of analysis, synthesis, comparison and generalization. Results and discussion. The scientific novelty of the monograph under review is due to the author’s comprehensive approach to the study of the deep meaning of 17 well-known works of different genres by I. A. Bunin. The complex nature of L. G. Kaida’s study is associated with a multifaceted consideration of the content plan of texts in line with the philosophical, psychological, philological, semiotic approaches to the study of fictional prose of the classic of Russian literature based on the analysis of the integral composition of the artistic space of these 17 texts. An integral approach and an expanded interpretation of compositional poetics as an aesthetic category allowed the author of the monograph to identify patterns characteristic of the writer at the level of his individual author’s manner of writing, to determine the features of Bunin’s psychologism, his aesthetic “I”, analyzing the writer’s work on the basis of comparing works of different years. In contrast to other researchers of Bunin’s works, the author of the monograph focused on solving his “secret writing”, considering the subtext information of Bunin’s literary works. This was successfully implemented on basis of the study of the intermedia composition of literary texts, reflecting the idea of the synthesis of arts. The concept developed by L. G. Kaida was embodied in practice in a deep analysis of the compositional poetics of I. Bunin’s works and a detailed study of the dynamics of the compositional and speech form of texts and their elements. The analysis of the artistic space of the writer’s work allows L. G. Kaida to single out and prove integral composition as “a new category of philological studies of the author’s text”. The evident advantages of the book are the identification of various “behind-the-text nuances” in the well-known works of I. A. Bunin, which makes it possible for a new, deep penetration into the author’s creative laboratory and unraveling his intentions and motives. Conclusion. New book by L. G. Kaida, owing to its relevance, theoretical and practical significance, will be in demand by specialists in theory and methods of text analysis, in the university practice of teaching the stylistics of decoding and philological analysis of the text, as well as by everyone who is interested in the work of I. A. Bunin. The author’s method of complex analysis of a literary text towards compositional poetics can be used to study the texts of other authors. Keywords: I. A. 41 | The problem of communication’s harmonization in different spheres is relevant in accordance with the modern communicative-cognitive paradigm of linguistic knowledge. This is especially true of media communication in connection with the media vector of development of up-to-date Russian studies. The promotion of the interview as one of the leading genres is of interest in terms of the interaction of its participants and as an object of perception of the mass addressee who perceives this media discourse. The purpose of the article is, based on the theory of regulativity as one of the directions of the communicative style of the text, to identify some linguistic mechanisms that form a harmonizing dialogue between a journalist and his guests as interview participants. The study is based on the use of the methodology and conceptual and terminological apparatus of the theory of regulativity developed in the communicative style of the text, the use of discursive, linguo-semantic, semantic-stylistic analysis. The material of the study was the author’s program “Very Personal” in the format of an interview with the famous journalist Viktor Loshak on the ORT channel. The effect of harmonious communication in the interview genre is achieved due to the overall positive and trusting emotional tone of the dialogue between the journalist and the guests; installation on the actualization of the objective successes and merits of the invited participants by the host program; the predominance of communication strategies and tactics of support, consent, compliment, self-presentation of the journalist and guests. The format of the author’s program includes a system of individual media genres, united by a common idea and image of the author of the program, which determine the integrity of the general media discourse, its coherence, conceptual completeness, communicative and pragmatic effect. In addition to the key media genre of the interview, the author’s program on ORT V. Loshak “Very personal” includes informative genres: presentation of the program and the guest, as well as etiquette genres: greeting, compliment, gratitude. Among the extralinguistic regulatory means, that form the effect of communication harmonization, the following stand out: the choice of guests – famous public figures; musical screen saver for the program; non-verbal behavior of the journalist and program participants (friendly look, supportive gestures, facial expressions); logical-compositional deployment of a discourse aimed at emphasizing the personal and professional merits of invited media persons who are of interest to a mass addressee. Linguistic regulatory means and structures that have a communicative-pragmatic effect include: quoting a guest, pick-up questions; clarifying questions, including options for answers to choose from; questions aimed at revealing the merits of the guest and his social significance; supporting remarks, the use of ameliorative evaluative vocabulary and vocabulary with the semantics of agreement, support; the appropriate use of figurative and expressive means and an explicit regulatory strategy of an amplifying-convergent type. The use of the theory of regulativity and its terminology allows us to judge some of the mechanisms for the formation of the communicative-pragmatic effect of harmonious communication between a journalist and guests during an interview in the author’s program “Very Personal” by Viktor Loshak on Public Television. The obtained observations are of interest for further development of the problem of the effectiveness of media communication and the study of the mechanisms of speech influence in the dialogue of communicants. 43 | The relevance of the study is determined by the importance of analyzing the main stages in the development of stylistics as one of the dominant areas of modern speech science. This area reflects a change in the scientific linguistic paradigm and a shift in emphasis from the study of language to the study of speech and speech activity. Although some stages of the development of stylistics have already been covered to one degree or another, it is important to summarize the existing observations and the dynamics of the formation of this field of knowledge as a whole. The purpose of the article is to analyze the problems and brief history of Russian stylistics in modern scientific interpretation, review various stylistic trends developing at different stages of its formation, and identify the prospects of stylistics. The material for the study is the works of famous linguists written in different years, including recent publications. Based on observation, analysis and generalization, the main features of individual stages and trends in stylistics development in Russia were identified, and the prospects for modern stylistic research in line with the new scientific cognitive-discursive paradigm in linguistics were outlined. The article points out stylistics as an important part of speech science and communicative theory of text, which is important for the formation of human speech culture. The dynamics of the development of Russian stylistics in the XX–XXI centuries are presented, the contribution of individual scientists to the formation of its various directions at different stages of stylistic development is characterized. The article notes the connection between stylistics and the theory of discourse and the prospects for the development of this field of knowledge, taking into account the change in scientific paradigms. The future of stylistics is connected with the communicative theory of text and related areas of knowledge in communicative, cognitive, anthropocentric, psycholinguistic, discursive and other scientific areas of modern Russian studies. The tendency towards integration with other fields of knowledge is decisive for modern stylistics, which has a strong theoretical basis, formed on the anthropocentrism and textocentrism of the humanities, and is strong in its scientific schools. The diversity of spheres of communication and speech practices of linguistic personalities of different types, the emergence of new information technologies and communication channels determine new horizons for stylistic research in the 21st century. 44 | The study of axiological sphere and means of its representation is one of the up-to-date problems of linguistics. This is especially true for the study of media communication in view of the communicative-cognitive scientific paradigm and the media vector of Russian studies’ development. The interpretation of value dominants in the discourses of public personalities is of interest as an object of perception of the mass addressee and influence on him. The aim of the article is to define language representation of value dominants of the participants of the author program "Very personal" on the channel "Open Television of Russia", taking into account the structure, content and pragmatics of the media discourse of the program. The study of discursive practices of the guest and the host is based on the theory of regulation, developed in the communicative stylistics of the text. This study includes the use of discursive and semantic-stylistic analysis. The material of the study is the release of the program "Very personal" on the channel "OTR" with the participation of People’s Artist of the USSR Vladimir Vasiliev. The means of representing the value picture of the world of a person are the following: explicit and implicit, linguistic and extralinguistic, including nonverbal behavior. The characteristic linguistic regulatory means and structures of the discourse of the participants of the "Very Personal" program, which have a communicative-pragmatic impact, include: melioration evaluative vocabulary, stylistic devices of repetition, gradation, antithesis, syntactic parallelism, rhetorical questions and exclamations, making clear the value picture of the world of the guest and the journalist. The guest’s discourse is characterized by the usage of semantic text paradigms of the synonymous type, actualizing the value dominants of the personality, first of all, complete dedication in creative work. The explicit regulatory strategy of the intensifying-convergent type in the discourses of Vladimir Vasiliev and the host of the author’s program allows the recipient to form an integral idea of their values and preferences. Gestures and facial expressions, look, appearance and communication environment of the program participants as the extralinguistic means of representing the value picture of the world are considered. We interpret value dominants in the discourse of a language personality as the conjugation of various linguistic and non-linguistic signals that directly or indirectly intensify value meanings that are important to the personality and characteristic of it. It was determined that the regulatory means and structures represent the value meanings of the program guest: complete dedication to creative work, service to society, loyalty to a lifework, honesty, modesty, love, sincerity, the desire to give joy, etc. Numerous comments from listeners and viewers of the program confirm that these value dominants were perceived by the audience. The regulatory theory’s use allows to specify the peculiarities of the representation of the value picture of the world of media communication participants, which was demonstrated using the example of the author’s program "Very Personal" by Viktor Loshak on Public Television of Russia. The results of analysis are of interest for axiological linguistics, media linguistics, theory and practice of speech communication.
