THE ROLE OF THE ADDICTION IN THE INDIVIDUAL MECHANISM OF CRIMINAL BEHAVIOR

Tazin Igor Ivanovich

Information About Author:

The article deals with the theoretical questions of the individual mechanism of criminal behavior within the frame of the interdisciplinary approach in philosophy, psychology, sociology and criminology. These questions are considered through the prism of addiction defining the perception and evaluation of specific life situations as a problem (conflict) and actualizing the harm as a way of overcoming it. In the context of addiction the postulate of crime is substantiated as a result of interference of personality characteristics on the one hand and the impact of specific situations on the other hand.

Keywords: mechanism of criminal behavior, deviant behavior, addictive behavior, addiction
