CURRENT STATE OF THE PROBLEM OF COGNITIVE ACTIVITY FORMATION OF PRESCHOOL CHILDREN

Information About Author:

The article discloses the approaches to understanding the activity. Formulates the definition of the concept of “cognitive activity”. Designates criteria and indicators of cognitive activity of preschool children. Presents theoretical overview of the psychological characteristics of today’s children. Introduces the current state of the problem of formation of cognitive activity in children of preschool age. Offers the analysis of models of formation of cognitive activity. Named the components of cognitive activity – information, activity and thinking, need and motivation, emotional and volitional, personal, control and evaluation. Names the driving force for the development of cognitive activity. Describes the psychological and pedagogical conditions of formation of cognitive activity of preschool children.
