Teaching Vocabulary, Grammar and Pronunciation to Students Learning English as a Second Foreign Language (after German)
The article is devoted to the problems of teaching English as a second foreign language (after German). It surveys the main principles of third-language teaching and discusses the possible ways of developing speaking skills. There has been an attempt in the technology to combine the two aspect sides of speech (fluency and accuracy) with the third one – pronunciation. The solution of the problem lies in the proper organization of the material, the item of which is a bilingual communicatively-intentional block, built around two texts: German and English.
