6201 | The article deals with comparative ethnolinguistic analysis of the Russian and German berries names that derive from animal names. The study bases on more than 400 dialectal names of 25 botanic genuses. The study relies on exposure and comparison of phytonyms nominational features and motivations. The analysis revealed a number of universal nominational features that are common in Russian and German. These are such features as “plant injuriousness (toxicity)”, “plant’s locus”, “eating of berries by animals”, “berries inedibility for the human”, “plant “falsity” (within phytonymic oppositions), “plant habitus and characteristics” and “household use of plant”. There was also identified one unique nominational feature “smell (taste) of plant” in German. The most frequent of zoonyms, reflecting the listed nominational features, are волк ‘wolf’, медведь ‘bear’, собака ‘dog’, ворон (а) ‘raven (crow)’ and сорока ‘magpie’ in Russian as well as Wolf ‘wolf’, Hund ‘dog’, Sau ‘swine’, Geiß ‘goat’, Schlange ‘snake’, Kröte ‘toad’ and Vogel ‘bird’ in German. In conclusion, the author describes the names of the berries that should be recognized as corrupt or reanalyzed forms and indicates the phytonyms, which nominational features require further research. 6204 | Introduction. The purpose of the article is to describe the model of the concept “Russian character”, presented in the mind of Chinese youth who speak Russian, by analyzing its lexical representatives identified by dint of a psycholinguistic experiment. Material and methods. The material of the study was the language reactions received during free associative experiment, which was held with 60 Chinese students. The analysis of the signs that form the structure of the concept “Russian character”, which exists in the consciousness of representatives of Chinese linguoculture, through its verbal objectivization, allows us to see the specifics of perception of representatives of Russian culture by representatives of Chinese, to evaluate the general direction of assessment of Russian by members of another ethnic group. Results and discussion. During the associative experiment representatives of Chinese culture were asked to answer the questions: “What kind of associations do you have when you hear the phrase “Russian character?”, “What kind is a Russian character?”. The analysis of the data obtained through this experiment allowed to pick out 22 character traits attributed by Chinese to Russian people. According to respondents, the key features of the Russian character are openness, cheerfulness, boldness, sincerity, etc. A smaller percentage of respondents (46.7 and 20, respectively) indicated that hardiness and responsibility are typical traits of a Russian person. 1.6 % of respondents think that straightforwardness, dexterity, enthusiasm are characteristics of Russians. Respondents also noted negative character traits of the Russian person. 26.6% of respondents call Russians selfish, 20 % – rude, 13.4 % – irresponsible, 6.7 % – lazy, greedy, etc. Thus, the model of the concept “Russian character”, existing in the consciousness of Chinese students who speak Russian, is a field structure (with nuclear and peripheral zones). The nuclear zone of the concept “Russian character” is formed by only positive qualities and character traits of Russian people, such as openness, patience, independence, etc., and the zones of the near and far periphery are presented as positive (friendliness, responsibility, activity), as well as negative qualities and character traits (selfishness, rudeness, pessimism). Conclusion. In general, the highlighted signs and their redistribution in the structure of the concept “Russian character” allow to conclude that the image of Russian people and their character in the consciousness of students from China are formed in a positive way. 6206 | This article describes the problems of teaching in school phraseology. We analyzed the work of scientists and researchers in the field of teaching of Russian. Analysis of the research showed that the tasks and exercises in phraseology are reduced to finding a linguistic unit in the text and its interpretation. The development of the Russian language phraseological system of the pupils of 5, 7, 11 classes was monitored. It is shown that the episodic nature of teaching Russian language phraseology led to a decrease in the level of literacy of students. Identified and proved the necessity of using modern media as a material for teaching Russian language phraseology in order to update the communicative skills of students. 6207 | The article is devoted to one of the modern aspects of Russian-Chinese language interaction in Chinese area adjacent to Russia. This interaction became possible in the late 20th – early 21st centuries as a consequence of active Russian-Chinese trade-and-service contacts. The article reveals spheres of outdoor advertisement made in Russian by Chinese native speakers. Advertising text materials have been collected by authors of the article in Heihe (China) and in relevant websites. Authors made linguistic analysis of Chinese boards and advertisements in Russian and found out that they were full of different errors. The purpose of the article is analysis of inadequacy of Russian words and their graphic forms and failure to comply with orthographical norms of the Russian Language in outdoor advertisement performed in Russian, as well as an attempt to make their linguistic interpretation. 6210 | The main idea of the article is to analyze the features of the functioning of verb predicates in description-portrait. There are 11 lexical-semantic groups (LSG) of non-active verb predicates verbalized the visual modality with meaning of 1. placement in space, 2. position predicates, 3. with semantic of the form of the object, 4. space borders predicates, 5. coverage of the subject, 6. spatial ratio of objects, 7. filling of space, 8. characteristic of the flat surface of the object, 9. direction in space, 10. location in space, 11. isolation based on light / color characteristics of the object. Description-portrait imposes certain restrictions on the use of non-active verb predicates of 11 LSG and predicates with intermodal meaning. The verb predicates that characterize the form of the object are the most frequent in the description-portrait. The predicates with semantics of placement in space, of the space filling and direction in space, as well as tactile and taste intermodal predicates are not productive in this thematic variety of description. Active verb predicates function in the context of a description-portrait with an invariant meaning of existence. As well as nonactive predicates, they are able to verbalize the spatial characteristics of description objects. 6211 | The author studies the issue of complex word generation based on an integrative speech-thinking model of word production. The model reveals processes of words production on onomasiological, cognitive and word-forming level. The paper presents the results of studying complex words on the material of Novosibirsk city ergonyms with attributive semantics. Ergonyms, being the most actively enriched category of onyms for the recent decades, reflect general trends occurring in the language: use of different structure components in the composition of a complex word; various possibilities of language game: lexical, stylistic and graphic features of neologisms formation. The most significant trend of modern word derivation is agglutinative or analytical nature of compounding process. Special analytical components of a compound word are clipped stems, root affixes, nouns, adjectives, numerals, graphical signs or abbreviations; which can be grouped in different sequences in the compound word. The position of the component expressing the attributive semantics can be initial or final, with the predominance of the initial, that expresses the semantic model “defining component-determined component”. The integrative speech-thinking model of word-production as the basic research method of word production assumes the description of representation structures of different types of knowledge at several levels (onomasiological, cognitive, nominative and derivation) and the choice of corresponding speech forms. When generating a new word the choice of the most essential information occurs at the stage of signifying the predicative form and is realized in the equivalent conventional or non-conventional models of word-production. John Friedman and Ekaterina Shevchenko, the authors of the first monographs on Erdmann, were among the speakers at the second conference held at TSPU. Drama researchers Valentina Golovchiner, Oksana Yurchenkova (Rusanova), Olga Strashkova, Elena Penskaya, Larisa Tyutelova, Irina Bagration-Mukhranneli, Oksana Kravchenko, Elena Kirichuk, and art historians and theater scholars Konstantin Uchitel, Martina Palusheva, Anna Kovalova, Vanhong Bao, Liang Weiqi, and others. Objective: to outline the directions of contemporary studies of the Erdmann’s work by; to see the scale of scientific contacts, to unite like-minded people from different countries, to acquaint specialists and everyone interested in researching Erdmann’s work with the contents of the conference participants’ reports. Material and methods. The article is based on a complex approach including biographical, cultural-historical, comparative-typological, historical-literary, historical-functional methods. Results and discussion. The main points of the reports were briefly presented, the topical aspects of Erdmann’s work were pointed out, the range of works of literature and theater discussed in the context of his work was outlined, and an idea of translations and productions of Erdmann’s plays in European countries was formed. 6213 | Introduction. The need to modernize the educational process in Russia is undeniable. Modernization of pedagogical professional education involves its adaptation to the changed socio-economic and state-political conditions of Russia’s development and the development of the experience of modernization of the educational sphere accumulated by other countries. In a modern educational organization, information and communication infrastructure is one of the main components of the educational process, which has a wide range of didactic electronic educational resources (ESR) as a practice-oriented tactic for optimizing the educational process. The aim is to identify approaches to improving the efficiency of the educational process based on the use of electronic simulators in the training of future specialists. Material and methods. The main sources of the conceptual design of fundamentally new e-learning resources-educational content, pedagogical tools and innovative forms of its development was the experience of professional training of students of “South Ural State Technical College”, bachelor and master degree students of Professional Pedagogical Institute of Russian State Vocational Pedagogical University in the direction of training 44.04.44 Vocational training in the framework of the specialty “Information Security Management in Professional Educational Institutions”; the process of integrative involvement of employers in the development of electronic media simulators; practical experience of forming practice-oriented professional competences of students. The main methods of research are theoretical analysis of the published material on the integration of the implementation of the ESM-ensure high-quality implementation of the regulations of the federal state educational standards 3 ++ for professional training of bachelors and undergraduates. Results and discussion. We have analyzed the materials of publications on the problem of bringing professional education to the modern needs of the labor market, the main difficulties of which are associated with its rather complex internal semantics, including several significant levels of hierarchy and connections between different types of very fragmented information that is not acceptable enough for making effective decisions, including in the conditions of forced use of distance learning. From the standpoint of reliability theory, it is almost impossible to hope for encouraging results without a scientifically-based approach to development within the framework of qualimetric digitalization based on the use of resources from various content platforms and cross-platform ERM templates. A special role in the light of the often forced use of distance learning belongs to such pedagogical tools as an electronic simulator (ES), designed for the interrelated performance of three main functions-diagnostic, training, and educational-when working out practical skills of students, forming their skills of motor-reflex and cognitive actions in difficult situations, understanding the essence of the processes and their mutual dependence. Implementation on the basis of CodeRunner plugin (V3.3.0) for Moodle multiplayer FLOOR in the provision of quality of formation of universal and professional competencies of vocational education students in these areas has allowed to reveal that the use of ES contributes to the growth of educational achievements of students, at least 15 %, which, in turn, affects the increase of the level (degree) of the formation of their competence, predetermining improving the efficiency of the educational process, improvement of its constituent elements. Thus in addition to increasing the average educational achievements of students still recorded an increase of 18 % and median characteristics, then there is a corresponding decrease in the proportion of students with high handles in replies to questions of control tests. Effective modernization of the educational process of pedagogical professional education, in our opinion, largely depends on the integrative implementation of the use of innovative platforms of various architectures and cross-platform templates of EOR-educational content of pedagogical tools, based within the framework of the modern teaching paradigm on the conceptual provisions and methods of pedagogy, measurements, mathematical modeling and scientific and analytical statistics of the qualimetric approach. The article analyzes the trends in the use of electronic educational resources (EER) to improve the practice-oriented component of the component of professional education. One of the directions in the light of often forced distance learning is the use of media content of electronic simulators (ES), designed to form the skills of motor-reflex and cognitive actions in complex situations, understanding the essence of the processes on the basis of the interrelated performance of three main functions-diagnostic, training, educational in the development of practical skills of students. Conclusion. The resource capabilities of verifying the variants of content platform architectures and cross-platform templates of such educational tools of EOR as ES, as well as innovative forms of their development and implementation, allow us to hope for encouraging results in finding ways to improve the efficiency of the educational process of professional educational organizations (VET), timely leveling of the contradiction between the requirements of employers of the modern post-industrial society and the level of formation of professional competencies of VET graduates. The article discusses the issue of working with the information, which is the basis of knowledge, which, in turn, is the basis for the formation of competencies. The provision of definitions of information is the most important for the learning process. It is shown that when presenting information it is necessary to take into account the psychophysical characteristics of the individual. Discusses the circulation of information in the process of its presentation, as well as the process of encoding information during its transfer from teacher to student. The process of „recoding“ signals is complicated by the fact that, as you know, according to the teachings of I. P. Pavlov about the higher nervous activity, the person perceives the world through the 1-St and 2-nd signal systems. The first signal system provides perception of the world at the level of perception, the second signal system provides perception of the world at the conceptual level. The average person have these systems operating synchronously. The authors experimentally demonstrated the predominance of one of the signal systems in perception of the objects by the scientific staff of humanitarian and natural science faculties. According to the results of this experiment, interesting conclusions were drawn. Using elements of information theory, highlight the actual aspects, to which it is necessary to pay attention in the teaching of natural science disciplines. Thus, the authors believe that in the pedagogical process it is necessary to pay special attention to the ways of information selection, to take into account the value of information for certain categories of students, to consider ways of fixing unconditional and conditional information. 6217 | This article is devoted to the analysis of the functioning of the combination of the conjunction да with a specifier вот in a variety of syntactic structures. The relevance of the study is determined by the active interest of modern linguistics to function words and, more generally, to means of communication, functioning in different semantic structures. Да вот forms different constructions depending on the main semantics of the conjunction да. This conjunction actualizes negative and connecting relations in our material. Particle вот also performs different functions, for example, the amplifying, anaphoric and cataphoric functions. Sometimes this particle plays an important role in the semantic distinction and addition. Да вот has a characteristic compatibility with such national words and function words as interrogative pronouns and adverbs, noun беда, particles бы, только, хоть, хотя бы, еще, pronominal adverb как-то, etc. This article presents the specific types of syntactic structures built on the basis of the combination да вот. Such structures include question-answer statements and constructions with a rhetorical question. This article also analyzes the application of да вот in idiomatic structures. Material source is National Corpus of the Russian language. Practical significance of the research is that the results benefit can be used to compile a dictionary of function words of the Russian language. 6218 | Introduction. This study is an attempt to investigate and analyze the main subjects and patterns of E. Chizhov’s novel Translation from a Metafraze. E. Chizhov created the exotic eastern country of Koshtyrbastan, a fascinating story imperceptibly absorbing the reader, attracting with an interesting narration, succinct descriptions of events and characters. The image of the poet – the prophet, the theme of translation and the image of the translator create the plot outline of the novel. The literary-centric meanings of the Translation from a Metafraze, however, are not limited to questions about the role of the poet and poetry, the relationship between poetry and power. The aim of the paper. The article analyzes one of the tendencies in modern literary process – metafiction on the side. Self-conscious prose, focusing on literary work, the figure of the author and hero, raises questions of literature and art. The metafiction phenomenon (the ratio of the author and the text, the author and the reader, the reader and the text) and its various manifestations, through metadescription, expand the text and focus on the role of the book, reading, and writer in society, becoming a mirror reflecting the current literary process. Material and methods. In the course of the work, we draw the conclusions on the complexity of the aesthetic concept of the novel and its connection with other texts of Russian literature. The analysis of plot-forming motifs reveals their commonality with T. Tolstoy’s novel Kys. Results and discussion. The article finds that the nature of the connection between these two works consists not only in the motive-thematic interchange, but also is expressed in a rather obvious connection at the constructive-figurative level, within the framework of the problematics of logocentrism and literature-centrism as well. T. Tolstaya and E. Chizhov in their novels in different years and in different ways raise the question of the role of books and reading in a person’s life and society. Conclusion. Finally, the paper unveils the complex metafictional construction of the novel, which includes references to real literary events, the interchange with other novels, and poems – ciphers, supplementing the text in prose. TThe application of the competence-based approach in the system of higher professional education requires competent and correct selection of training content, aimed at formation of necessary competencies. Materials and methods. The material of the study was the content of educational programs of cadets of universities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Their use made it possible to identify and describe the content of education of cadets of universities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia with the aim of forming and developing their general cultural competence. Results and discussion. The common cultural competence of the cadets of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russian universitiеs is defined as the fundamental competence of their future professional activity. The selection of the content of training cadets, aimed at formation of common cultural competencies, should be made on the basis of certain principles and criteria. The informative block of common cultural competence of cadets of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia universities is represented by three structural components: philosophical-pedagogical, socio-psychological, motivation and self-actualization of cadets in mastering common cultural competencies. The development of these structural components is facilitated by the disciplines, stipulated by the plan, as well as the special course, developed by the authors «Common cultural competence of cadets of the Ministry of Internal Affairs universities of Russia as a pedagogical task». The purpose of the study is to find out how the component of the law concept associated with the area of social and legal relations is represented in the language consciousness of the young Russian native speaker. Material and methods. To achieve this goal, the author conducted associative, receptive and color experiments with the participation of student recipients, and also compiled the relevant fields. A series of experiments was carried out twice: in 2013–2015 and 2017–2018, it allowed to analyze the perception of the studied concept by the recipients in dynamics. In addition, the results of the study were compared with the data from the Russian associative dictionary, experiments for this dictionary were conducted at the end of the 20th century. This made it possible to track changes in the linguistic consciousness of the young Russian speaker over the last decades. Results and discussion. Using only one type of experiment to analyze the language consciousness is not enough, because the links between its structures are not linear, therefore, the data obtained during one type of experiment must be verified by experiments of other types. Associative, receptive and color experiments allowed us to bring to the surface and analyze different structures of consciousness and different types of speech activity, and also to characterize the concept under study from different sides. Conclusion. Over the past decades, the number of legal reactions to the “law” stimulus has significantly increased, which indicates changes in the language consciousness of Russian native speakers. The experiments carried out give grounds to assert that recipients associate the concept of law with the sphere of social and legal relations. This may indicate an increase in the level of legal culture among young people. At the same time, the tendency towards a more negative perception of the stimulus law has clearly emerged in recent years, and it is also confirmed by the results of experiments. On the basis of archival materials and local periodical press revealed information about the 5 ladies’ committees working in Barnaul on a permanent basis, and several temporary ones. The articles published in the German newspapers Süddeutsche Zeitung, Die Welt and the Russian translation of these articles from the site ИноСМИ.ru serve as the material for the analysis. The following methods were used: content-analysis as a kind of content and semantic direction, linguistic and stylistic method in two of its variations – lexical and stylistic and lexical and semantic analysis, linguistic and pragmatic and cognitive and discursive methods. Results and discussion. Confabulated character of the articles which aim to revise the history is represented through the concepts DECEPTION and PROPAGANDA. The damaging character of the revisionist materials is intensified through the usage of the negative tactic of accusation which in the intercultural political area may not be explicitly depicted on the lexical level but be rendered from the stylistics and rhetoric of this or that genre. The destructive character of the publications is determined by the conceptual opposition of the political discourse ‘friendfoe’ and is manifested in the discussion of the events not only belonging to the past but inherent to the modern geopolitical situation. In the materials of this kind all features of the fake (deepfake) message are present which let us interpret them as functioning in the framework of the post-truth phenomenon. Conclusion. One of the most powerful weapons of the information and psychological warfare are the attempts to “deconfabulate” the history. The repertoire of information and psychological warfare’s means embraces the past events and the modern geopolitical situation. The media-discourse in general and mass-media particularly is a great instrument of forming a public opinion and transmitting these or those axiological priorities. In the context of modern information confrontation it is important to prevent the situation when the journalism of facts is substituted by the journalism of opinions. In this respect the analysis of the revisionist publications plays a great role in terms of studying the linguistic and extra-linguistic mechanisms of discrediting the past. 6228 | The article analyses inter-confessional relations of the Russian old believers (pomorets) and representatives of the Orthodox Church in Ust-Tsilma municipality of the Mezen district of the Arkhangelsk province in the second quarter of the XIX century. The main attention is paid to the activities of the Orthodox priests, which was aimed at the eradication of schism. 6229 | Introduction. The most important task of modern education is to provide opportunities for personal and professional growth and for the implementation of self-realization. The main approaches to the study of the concept of selfrealization are outlined. The results of a survey of future teachers of the Russian language are presented. The ideas of future teachers of the Russian language in relation to their professional self-realization are revealed. Material and methods. The study was conducted on the basis of the analysis of theoretical sources on the problem of self-realization and the results of a survey of students of the philological faculty. The author’s questionnaire consisted of 3 open-ended questions and 4 closed-ended questions. Results and discussion. Various approaches to understanding these concepts are analyzed and their own position on this issue is substantiated. According to the results of the survey, it was found that 15% of 3-year students and 55% of 4-year students are sure that professional self-realization implies continuous improvement in the chosen profession and the need for improvement. The needs arising for future teachers of the Russian language during pedagogical practice, which is a key link between the theoretical training of future teachers of the Russian language and their independent work in an educational institution, are characterized. Conclusion. Self-actualization is understood as a tendency to self-realization. And self-realization is a process of personality development, involving active cooperation with other people, the application of one’s own efforts. It is revealed that the pedagogical practice is a critical point in the formation of the future teacher of the Russian language. Before practice, the main difficulties for students are self-doubt and lack of knowledge in the field of methodological disciplines. After teaching practice, the lack of free time among teachers of the Russian language and the high intensity of work become the basic barriers for self-realization for students. 6230 | Introduction. Modern study of terminologies and term systems are carried out in the aspect of cognitive terminology. Research devoted to the study of the term semantics in the context of cognitive terminology is gaining popularity. The aim of the work is to create frame models of the term semantics of the subject area “Construction Technologies”, to identify the main cognitive categories and subcategories represented by these models and characteristic of construction terminology, as well as the means of their expression. Material and methods. The material for the study is the terms of the sphere of construction technologies, selected from the terminological dictionaries on construction, regulatory documents, educational and scientific literature, as well as catalogues of construction products and professional websites for construction engineers. The research methodology is based on the method of linguistic modeling, frame analysis was used to study the term semantics. The techniques of definitional and component analysis are also used. Results and discussion. The frame modeling of the term semantics of the professional field “Construction technologies” was performed on the basis of the word-formation structure of the derived term. As a result of the analysis of frame models, correlated with the word-forming types, the following cognitive categories in the terminology of the sphere of construction technologies are defined: “process”, “attribute”, “ability / characteristic”, “action”, “object”. The article provides a detailed analysis of the semantics of Russian terms that actualize the cognitive categories “process” and “feature”. Frame models of term semantics are proposed; the frame consists of slots, which are components of the meaning of the term and are represented by various morphemes. The categorical slot is of particular importance as it correlates with the part-of-speech belonging of the term. The following subcategories specify the semantics of the identified cognitive categories: “technology of manufacturing / application of building materials”, “stage of the technological process”, “special construction works / results of these works”, “construction defect”, etc. These subcategories are defined by the specifics of the terminology of the field of construction technologies. Conclusion. As a result of frame modeling the semantics of the terms of the sphere “Construction technologies” and the analysis of the cognitive categories “process” and “attribute”, within each of them, subcategories specific to construction terminology were identified. It was revealed that the most productive way of word formation in the analyzed terminology is suffixation and prefixation. The proposed frame models of terms reflect fragments of scientific knowledge verbalized by special nominations, and frame analysis is an effective method for studying the ways of categorizing scientific information. 6234 | The article deals with the adaptation of ski tourists to the extreme conditions of their activities. We give a systematic description of the extremal factors in the ski tourism and identify the four components of extreme factors: impact of environment, sportsman techniques, physiological and psychological factors. The results of involved physiological and psychological studies are obtained using four test methods: Genchi’s test, measuring heart rate, short-term memory test and the test of time metering. The tests results coincide with the intencity of loads on the route, which includes, basically changes in altitude. The individual characteristics of participants and leader’s reactions in the process of adaptation to extreme conditions of the route are defined. We generalize the four tests getting the overall dynamics of the process of adaptation of sportsmen in the highlands. By this data we range the sportsmen into the groups of “strong” and “weak” in the group.The leader received higher scores compared to the participants. Thus, the use of this complex method of assessment of ski tourists in a group allows us to observe and assess the dynamics of adaptation to extreme conditions. The article explains the practical significance of the use of such speech acts. The specification allows us to focus on the speech behavior of the interlocutor, regulate the process of communication and request additional information which is necessary for a complete and correct interpretation of a speech act. Metacommunicative speech acts can be expressed as particles (то есть – that is, да – yes, вроде – like), adverbs (точно – exactly, правильно – right, верно – correct, etc. ), and metacommunicative statements of the phraseological character (иметь в виду – to bear in mind, пойми меня правильно – understand me correctly), interrogative metacommunicative statements (Что ты хочешь этим сказать? – What do you mean by that? The problem of professional choice in a situation of uncertainty raises the importance of scientific understanding and finding practical solutions to support school graduates in the process of professional self-determination. This is particularly an issue for rural school graduates. The problem was addressed in domestic and foreign Pedagogy and Psychology at different times in history. The attitude towards the problem of professional choice is changing. Whereas it was more often considered in the context of professional self-determination, it is now the subject of independent research. The purpose of the article is to reveal the features of the professional choice by rural school students in the changing ideas about the essence of professional choice as a psychological and pedagogical problem. Material and methods. The empirical base of the study is represented by 15–18 years old school students and the middle-aged population of rural settlements in the north and south of the Tyumen region. The survey was attended by 200 people. The content of the questions is aimed at evaluation of the confidence and validity of the professional choice and general awareness in various aspects of the attractiveness of traditional and modern occupations. The first context reflects the needs of society and the state in the professional development of an individual in a knowledge economy. The third context characterizes the peculiarities and problems of choosing a profession by rural school students. Conclusion. The results showed that, in general, there is a lack of maturity among school students in choosing a profession and understanding its importance in life values realization. The contemporary complex analysis of terminological and professional lexicon is carried out within the cognitive approach to language the essence of which lies in the fact that behind any language units there are mental structures of different types. The article also poses the problem of correlation and interdependence between notion and concept. 6248 | Introduction. The main point of the paper is innovative changes in education. The authors suppose that the initiator and the mechanism of these changes may become the master training at the pedagogical university. In this case, this training needs a structural and content transformation, the essential elements of which are presented in the thematic blocks of this article. Results and discussion. Selection of the field of communications as a metasubject activity becomes a challenge for professional training, encourages a rethinking of the educational work, which is consistent with the second stage of higher education. These include the creation in the master’s program of innovatively oriented training programs in which new forms of knowledge and educational interaction will be tested. Such a form is in line with the development and implementation of the visual epistemology in the educational process, as well as with the use of metadisciplinary semiotic structures in the design of the educational process. It is proved that it is impossible to acquire new metasubject competence in the context of the implementation of traditional didactic schemes. Conclusion. The contents offered by the authors are not ready-made solutions, but are sets of heuristics aimed at actualizing the discussion about the meaning and purpose of the master’s level of teacher training. The proposed modification assumes the creation of design-development directions (programs and training courses) at the institute of magistracy, in which innovative orientation acts both as a goal and as a content of education. The learning content includes two substructural elements: deconstructive and constructive. A form of their implementation is the joint activity of participants in the educational process. 6249 | Introduction. This article carries out the analysis of the ways the stylistic convergence is rendered from Russian into English. The phenomenon of convergence has been thoroughly studied neither by the stylistics as far as its speech implementation is concerned, nor by the theory of translation taking into account all the semantic, stylistic and pragmatic information expressed by the author by means of convergence that needs to be rendered in translation. Quite often, scientific research studies the problem of transferring a particular stylistic device rather than their converged group which obviously complicates the translator’s work. The problem thus stated is aimed at revealing the most effective translation strategy for rendering the stylistic convergence in the target text. Aim and objectives. The aim of the article is to single out and analyze the ways the convergence of stylistic means is rendered from the source language into the target language maintaining its pragmatic function. Material and methods. The material for the study is the novel “Anna Karenina“ by L. Tolstoy and its translation in English by Margaret Wettlin published by Progress Publishers in 1978. The object of the research is convergence of stylistic means, the subject is the ways of its transference from Russian into English. The basis of the methodology lies in the scientific and linguistic methods including the descriptive and comparative ones. Results and discussion. The research has shown that the complete transference of the convergence is rather rare due to the lexical and structural peculiarities of the two languages. Having analyzed 70 text units we have come to the conclusion that 24 % of them are those in which the stylistic convergence is preserved in the target text. The stylistic convergence is rendered by substituting or adding some of its components in 12 % and 17 % of units respectively. The most frequent (47 %) are the cases when some of the converged stylistic means of the source text are omitted in translation. As for the pragmatic functions of the stylistic convergence, they are in most cases retained in the target text enhancing or, on the contrary, weakening the stylistic effect of the original text. Conclusion. The article gives a short historical overview of studying stylistic convergence and covers its main interpretations. The analysis of the research material includes the study of stylistic means that form the stylistic convergence in the literary text, the comparative analysis of the text units containing the stylistic convergence both in the source text and in the target text. We revealed the most frequent ways of rendering the stylistic convergence from Russian into English. In addition, we analyzed the pragmatic functions of the stylistic convergence as well as the ways they can be retained in translation. 6250 | Introduction. The results of the annual monitoring of the input and final diagnostics of the development of additional professional programs by students are presented. Aim and objectives. The goal is to determine the degree of formation of students’ professional competencies when mastering additional professional programs, as well as to determine the dynamics of changes in the subject position of students regarding their professional competence. Material and methods. The research material was the data obtained from the final diagnosis developed by the Institute of Continuing Professional Education. Identified difficulties in the training of students, as well as interesting dynamics in four sections of the questionnaire are presented: the position of students of the courses regarding their legal competence, psychological and pedagogical competence, professional skills, and the relevance of using the Institute’s information and methodological resources. Results and discussion. An analysis of the data of the conducted input and final diagnostics of the level of training of students in the development of additional professional programs for 2019 revealed the typical and remaining difficulties that students experience. Two categories took part in the survey: “Pedagogical workers” and “Leading workers”. Diagnostic data showed that most students feel the need to develop their professional competence. The need for the development of skills that allow you to build your own professional activities in accordance with the legislation in the field of education remains relevant in the work of both teachers and managers. An important issue is the use by students of psychological and pedagogical knowledge and skills in professional activities. Input diagnostic data show a fairly small percentage of students who use psychological and pedagogical knowledge and skills, as well as the use of a systematic and natural basis. Another problem remains the awareness of an insufficient level of knowledge of information and communication technologies. Despite the sufficient openness of the institute’s information resources and its presence on the official website, a fairly large percentage of students are not sufficiently familiar with project and information-methodological resources, including those presented on portals and sites located on the official website, since this is not in their circle duties, according to listeners. Conclusion. The remaining difficulties identified will allow us to adjust the work of carrying out operational adjustments to the content and forms of work of the teaching staff with students during the development of additional professional programs, as well as to determine approaches to making effective management decisions aimed at ensuring positive dynamics in the results of the development of additional professional programs by students.
