The contemporary complex analysis of terminological and professional lexicon is carried out within the cognitive approach to language the essence of which lies in the fact that behind any language units there are mental structures of different types. The article also poses the problem of correlation and interdependence between notion and concept. It is underlined in the article that English juridical professional vocabulary possesses considerable ethnocultural potential. A lot of English legal linguistic units have a wide spectrum of cultural connotations. 6202 | Introduction. This article considers the concept law as a part of the field of social and legal relations, that is the sphere of human life which is regulated by legal norms. The purpose of the study is to find out how the component of the law concept associated with the area of social and legal relations is represented in the language consciousness of the young Russian native speaker. Material and methods. To achieve this goal, the author conducted associative, receptive and color experiments with the participation of student recipients, and also compiled the relevant fields. A series of experiments was carried out twice: in 2013–2015 and 2017–2018, it allowed to analyze the perception of the studied concept by the recipients in dynamics. In addition, the results of the study were compared with the data from the Russian associative dictionary, experiments for this dictionary were conducted at the end of the 20th century. This made it possible to track changes in the linguistic consciousness of the young Russian speaker over the last decades. Results and discussion. Using only one type of experiment to analyze the language consciousness is not enough, because the links between its structures are not linear, therefore, the data obtained during one type of experiment must be verified by experiments of other types. Associative, receptive and color experiments allowed us to bring to the surface and analyze different structures of consciousness and different types of speech activity, and also to characterize the concept under study from different sides. Conclusion. Over the past decades, the number of legal reactions to the “law” stimulus has significantly increased, which indicates changes in the language consciousness of Russian native speakers. The experiments carried out give grounds to assert that recipients associate the concept of law with the sphere of social and legal relations. This may indicate an increase in the level of legal culture among young people. At the same time, the tendency towards a more negative perception of the stimulus law has clearly emerged in recent years, and it is also confirmed by the results of experiments. 6204 | The author studies the issue of complex word generation based on an integrative speech-thinking model of word production. The model reveals processes of words production on onomasiological, cognitive and word-forming level. The paper presents the results of studying complex words on the material of Novosibirsk city ergonyms with attributive semantics. Ergonyms, being the most actively enriched category of onyms for the recent decades, reflect general trends occurring in the language: use of different structure components in the composition of a complex word; various possibilities of language game: lexical, stylistic and graphic features of neologisms formation. The most significant trend of modern word derivation is agglutinative or analytical nature of compounding process. Special analytical components of a compound word are clipped stems, root affixes, nouns, adjectives, numerals, graphical signs or abbreviations; which can be grouped in different sequences in the compound word. The position of the component expressing the attributive semantics can be initial or final, with the predominance of the initial, that expresses the semantic model “defining component-determined component”. The integrative speech-thinking model of word-production as the basic research method of word production assumes the description of representation structures of different types of knowledge at several levels (onomasiological, cognitive, nominative and derivation) and the choice of corresponding speech forms. When generating a new word the choice of the most essential information occurs at the stage of signifying the predicative form and is realized in the equivalent conventional or non-conventional models of word-production. 6205 | Introduction. Relevance of the research is determined by the interest of modern translation science in search of effective ways of songs rendition, as animation films are getting the significant role as participants of modern crosscultural communication. Aim and objectives. The present paper attempts to discuss main functional, linguistic and structural aspects of song lyrics and analyze methods of their translation, as well as study applicability of these methods to song rendition in animation films. Materials and methods. The research is based on theoretical materials on audiovisual- and song translation, the exemplary texts taken from animation film “Mulan” (Walt Disney, 1998). Results and discussion Belonging to belles-lettres functional style, songs share with poetic texts their lexicosemantic and syntactic features, as well as rythmic and structural organization, which adds to their esthetic value. The specificity of songs in animation films is determined by their dependence on the plot and characters, both the form and the semantics of lyrics being equally important for their full-size foreign understanding. Subtitling and dubbing are the two methods of audiovisual translation, which fit the requirements of song rendition, with the latter as more preferable. Analyzing methods of modern song rendition and their applicability to the translation of songs in animation films, while having in mind certain limitations of both song- and audiovisual translation, we found out that the optimal option probably would be text adaptation, allowing to preserve the semantics and the melody as the two inseparable sides of the song unity. Conclusion. Lexico-semantic, syntactic, stylistic and structural peculiarities of song texts determine the features of their translation. From the whole list of translation options, the gentler one would be adaptation of the text to the original melody. 6206 | In accordance with the Federal State Educational Standard of Preschool Education (FGOS DO), the development of speech and communication skills of children with adults and peers is among the important tasks of teaching and upbringing. The formation of dialogical skills of preschoolers is a necessary condition for their social and personal development. This requirement fully applies to children with mental retardation (hereinafter referred to as PSA). The article presents an analysis of dialogical utterances of preschoolers of this category, defines the content of the formation of skills to participate in a dialogue: to respond to replicas and request information. Communicative situations, role-playing dialogues, various kinds of games and exercises are defined as effective learning tools. The purpose of the study is to analyze the pedagogical conditions for the effective formation of dialogical speech in older preschoolers with mental retardation. As the main experimental methods, observation and pedagogical experiment were used, including children’s answers to different types of questions (reproductive, explanatory and alternative) and independent formulation of questions based on visual schemes–hints. On the basis of the experimental study, which involved 40 pupils of the older group with mental retardation at the age of 5–6 years, the characteristic features of the development of dialogue in children with mental retardation were confirmed. It is noted that with the seeming simplicity of the dialogue, greater independence from language norms, the children of the category under consideration experienced significant difficulties in building and maintaining the line of dialogue. The ascertaining experiment, conducted with older preschoolers with mental retardation, showed that an independent dialogue in most of them is significantly difficult and is characterized by a number of features associated with both a lag in speech and a lag in the development of thinking and speech-thinking activity. The content of the formative stage of the experiment included work on the formation of the ability to answer questions of varying complexity and independently request information. The novelty of the study lies in clarifying the content of the work on the development of dialogue skills in accordance with the linguistic features of this form of speech; updating data on the features of dialogic speech and communication skills in children with ASD, determining the stages of formation of dialogic skills in this category of preschoolers. The research materials make it possible to outline new strategic guidelines for corrective action in the field of speech, namely, the communicative development of preschoolers with mental retardation. 6213 | Introduction. The article deals with the vocabulary of the modern journalistic text. The basis for the study are the German-language newspaper articles, which relate to the thematic category “politics”, the content of which reflects the changes in the political life of the country. The method of continuous sampling was the selection of appropriate lexical units from the data sources. The scientific novelty of the research consists in understanding the processes occurring in the word formation of the modern German language. Material and methods. Newspaper lexemes are the object of study. The goal-setting criterion in the work is the word-formation analysis of language material. In this regard, the most productive in modern German language turned out to be such methods of word-formation as word composition and word production. The revealed structural types of composites, a detailed description of their composition occupy a significant place in the work. The frequency components of such vocabulary in modern newspaper political texts are anglicisms. Internal bonding mechanisms influence the formation of the complex structure of composite units. In addition, the authors made an attempt to more or less generalize the semantics of the words that form the composites. The word-formation characteristic of the political newspaper lexicon takes into account the part of speech of the lexical units inherent in some grammatical features. The subject of research in the work, along with complex words, are also derived lexemes. Among them, derivative nouns as well as verbs predominate. Affixes, most of which are suffixes, are frequency ones. The methodological component of this study includes as the main method of component analysis, the method of wordformation models, descriptions. In summing up the results of the study, a quantitative method was used. Conclusion. The results of the study show the dominant position of the compound words revealed in the Germanlanguage political newspaper vocabulary. Borrowings from English are productive. Presented in General, the scientific justification can be used in the course of lexicology of the German language. 6215 | Introduction. This study is an attempt to investigate and analyze the main subjects and patterns of E. Chizhov’s novel Translation from a Metafraze. E. Chizhov created the exotic eastern country of Koshtyrbastan, a fascinating story imperceptibly absorbing the reader, attracting with an interesting narration, succinct descriptions of events and characters. The image of the poet – the prophet, the theme of translation and the image of the translator create the plot outline of the novel. The literary-centric meanings of the Translation from a Metafraze, however, are not limited to questions about the role of the poet and poetry, the relationship between poetry and power. The aim of the paper. The article analyzes one of the tendencies in modern literary process – metafiction on the side. The metafiction phenomenon (the ratio of the author and the text, the author and the reader, the reader and the text) and its various manifestations, through metadescription, expand the text and focus on the role of the book, reading, and writer in society, becoming a mirror reflecting the current literary process. Material and methods. In the course of the work, we draw the conclusions on the complexity of the aesthetic concept of the novel and its connection with other texts of Russian literature. The analysis of plot-forming motifs reveals their commonality with T. Tolstoy’s novel Kys. Results and discussion. The article finds that the nature of the connection between these two works consists not only in the motive-thematic interchange, but also is expressed in a rather obvious connection at the constructive-figurative level, within the framework of the problematics of logocentrism and literature-centrism as well. T. Tolstaya and E. Chizhov in their novels in different years and in different ways raise the question of the role of books and reading in a person’s life and society. Conclusion. Finally, the paper unveils the complex metafictional construction of the novel, which includes references to real literary events, the interchange with other novels, and poems – ciphers, supplementing the text in prose. 6220 | The paper reviews preverbs of Eastern Khanty dialects. The main focus of the discussion is to summarize and to make a classification of these units of speech. The analysis is carried out from the functional semantic point of view. Preverbs are adverbial, usually lative, particles that modify spatial characteristic of the verbs they are used with. Usually preverbs go before the verb and are connected with it morphologically and syntactically. Seldom, a negative particle, direct object or an auxiliary particle may occur between them. Preverbs are believed to be a separate part of speech because from the point of view of phonetics they do not form a single word with a verb that follows. Preverbs may be classified according to the following points: 1) source meaning; 2) functional and semantic characteristics; 3) ability to carry out a perfectivation function; 4) a type of verb. Based on the study of the linguistic representation of the idea of national unity in dictionaries and speech use, the value of the non-idiomatic compound expression national unity is established, contextual markers of the idea of national unity are identified in publicistic and advertising texts. The expression national unity is considered in a series of synonymous units of national unity and national consent. It is shown that the expression national unity has a procedural meaning and pre-supposes the duration of action, and the expressions of national unity and national consent have a substantive meaning of effectiveness and a contextual synonym for national union. Based on the analysis of the definitions of the adjective national and the noun unity and their speech use as a com-posite non-idiomatic expression, the definition of national unity is formulated as ‘the state process of rallying the citizens of the country who have a common historical past, based on the interaction of the authorities and the people on the issue of solving the problems of state development and national secu-rity’. It has been established that in commercial poly-code advertising, the expression national unity is not used, but the idea of national unification is implemented implicitly. Conclusion. The authors identified language markers for promoting the idea of national unity in mod-ern commercial advertising, nominating common traditions, territory and some features of the coun-try’s socio-cultural life. It is noted that commercial advertising has significant opportunities for promot-ing national ideas; a research perspective is seen in the study of the educational possibilities of adver-tising discourse. The French architectural institutional discourse refers to the object, thematic discourses born at the intersection of the architectural (project-constructive) discourse proper and others discourses, such as scientific, academic, legal (legislative-administrative), newspaper-publicistic. 6242 | Introduction. Study of texts’ headlines of different styles and genres in respect to their pragmatics is of interest in view of special role in organization of readers’ cognitive activity and influence on mass addressee. Up-to-date communicative and cognitive paradigm of linguistic knowledge aims to detecting of means and ways of effective organization of communication in different spheres including mass media. The aim of the article is detection of regulative facilities of different types of headlines in newspaper articles with relation to influence on mass addressee. The material and methods. The research was carried out on the material of «Rossiyskaya Gazeta» No. 8393, 2021 [https://rg.ru/gazeta/rg/2021/03/01.html]. 63 headlines of the articles from the site of “Rossiyskaya Gazeta” had been studied, taking into account the content of these media texts; 1300 responses from 20 informants – participants of the survey– had been summarized. The research is carried out in line with regulative theory, developed in communicative stylistics of text. Results and discussion. The title of individual articles is included as an element in the headline complex of media texts of the «Rossiyskaya Gazeta». The text of newspaper publications on the site is accompanied by column, headline, notice, it includes the first paragraph of material, indication to the author, it contains hyperlinks to the other media texts, a photo that is placed before the article or beside it to realize illustrative or qualifying function. It is determined that influence function dominates in most titles, and in the others – the informative one. Regulative potential of media texts headlines is connected mostly with a motive for readers to read the articles. This is due to lack of understanding, semantic versatility of headlines and intrigue that is set up on its basis, and attracting attention of addressee on the basis of method of disappointed affectation which is used in a title due to oxymoron, tropes, precedential texts, language game, rhetorical questions, that requires participation. Therefore, range of regulative means and structures in the articles’ headlines permits stimulating readers’ attention to introduction with next by the title media texts. Based on the results of a survey of informants, their assumptions about the possible media text’s content in line to perception of a title did not match as a rule with real information in the article. It is obvious, that the lack of understanding in the titles performs primarily a pragmatic function and requires clarification and addition in the form of other accompanying media text materials, including the notice and photographs, which partly fill in the information missing in the titles. It was detected that stimulating role of a title is determined by direction to primary audience, in other words the connection of a headline that stimulates the following introduction with media text with primary audience, and addressee factor including the age of potential readers and their interests is proved. Conclusion. The introduced approach to study pragmatics of headlines as the element of media text on basis of regulative theory allows to judge some regularities in organization of cognitive activity of mass addressee and efficiency of titles’ types, which are connected with reflection of actual themes, criterion of addressee profit, medium language originality, creation of intrigue due to usage of special regulative means and methods. 6245 | The article considers the specific character of religious metaphors and their role in conceptualization of the soul in art discourse of the XVIII–ХХ centuries. The characteristic feature of the studied metaphorical model is the close synthesis of pagan and Christian concepts, the appeal to fundamental oppositions “good – evil” and “own – alien”, estimation approach to cognizable fragments of reality. By means of a metaphorical projection from the area of “religion” into the area of “man’s inner world” in an art discourse the spiritual qualities of the person, emotional life, personal relations between the man and the woman are represented. The peak of the use of religious metaphors in an art discourse is XVIII–XIX centuries. 6246 | Introduction. The main point of the paper is innovative changes in education. The authors suppose that the initiator and the mechanism of these changes may become the master training at the pedagogical university. In this case, this training needs a structural and content transformation, the essential elements of which are presented in the thematic blocks of this article. Results and discussion. Selection of the field of communications as a metasubject activity becomes a challenge for professional training, encourages a rethinking of the educational work, which is consistent with the second stage of higher education. These include the creation in the master’s program of innovatively oriented training programs in which new forms of knowledge and educational interaction will be tested. Such a form is in line with the development and implementation of the visual epistemology in the educational process, as well as with the use of metadisciplinary semiotic structures in the design of the educational process. It is proved that it is impossible to acquire new metasubject competence in the context of the implementation of traditional didactic schemes. Conclusion. The contents offered by the authors are not ready-made solutions, but are sets of heuristics aimed at actualizing the discussion about the meaning and purpose of the master’s level of teacher training. The proposed modification assumes the creation of design-development directions (programs and training courses) at the institute of magistracy, in which innovative orientation acts both as a goal and as a content of education. The learning content includes two substructural elements: deconstructive and constructive. A form of their implementation is the joint activity of participants in the educational process. 6249 | The article features the comparative characteristics of the main heroine in L. Ulitskaya’s novel The Kukotsky Enigma and combines two topical approaches: the functional-semantic approach, connected with the text explications of units in the functional-semantic field “comparativeness”, and the gender-linguistic approach. The second approach actualizes feminine-oriented comparatives, namely: the forms of the images of comparisons (comparatives of equality) and the forms of the signs of difference (comparatives of inequality), the “targets” of which are explications of the external and internal appearance of Elena Kukotsky. The purpose of the article is to identify and analyze the structural and substantive diversity of the comparatives involved in the character’s thematic grid of Elena, identifying the author’s idiostyle features. We use the primary linguistic description (collection of materials, classification and interpretation), as well as contextual and transformational methods. Appeal to the chronotopic, discourse and sensory levels in the comparative characteristics of Elena, we can see her various manifestations in life, the polysemy of the heroine because of different attitude expressed by other heroes and the narrator, her self-expression, the variability of her assessments. An important role in the discourse representation of the heroine “from the inside” is played by Elena’s notebooks, in which feminine-oriented comparatives participate in the expression of her self-criticism, linguistic creativity, fantasy in the use of occasionalisms, unexpected metaphorical images, including expanded ones. The comparative character’s grid of Elena is represented by a wide variety of comparisons of quality (comparisonassimilations and metaphors) and comparatives of inequality (forms of degrees of comparisons of characteristic words and forms of subjective assessment of quality). In front of readers there is a visual, odor, auditory (the sensory level) appearance of this young woman, charming by her fragility; it is difficult to imagine her face; readers themselves draw her portrait. In the comparative characteristics of the heroine, first of all, her inner appearance (moods, joyfulness, but for the most part difficult experiences, value proposition in her picture of the world) is explicated. The participation of the comparatives in the creation of the image of Elena manifests their pronounced text-forming function, with the particular use of the approach “the correlation of trops and realia”. The results of the analysis contribute to the systematization of knowledge about the expressive ways of comparatives in the language of artistic texts; and their description makes a definite contribution to the theory of imagery. 6250 | Introduction. The article presents a study of functional-semantic peculiarities of Russian verbal prefixes on the example of the prefix PRED- and the verb predvidet (to foresee). Material and methods. Analysis of the semantic meaning of the prefix PRED- is based on the data of lexicographic sources, the description of its functional distinctiveness is made on the material of the Russian National Corpus. The Study is made on the basic principles of the grammatical and derivatological research of the Russian verb. The main theoretical points of this article are: the main function of Russian verb prefixes is word-forming, prefix is to modify the meaning of the initial verb; in contrast to the suffix the prefix is characterized by greater structural and semantic autonomy, and has the capacity to act as a kind of stylistic marker of the of the verb unit. Results and discussion. Based on the accepted objectives of the study, it was suggested that some of the Russian prefixes are able to “program” a verb unit to use it in a particular speech practice, since the meaning of the prefix (and the meaning of verbs with this prefix as a whole) corresponds to the communicative intentions of this discursive practice. Based on the analysis of the meanings of Russian verbal prefixes, prefixes with the indicated ability are highlighted, the bright representative of which is the prefix PRED in the prospective meaning – “to perform (or perform) an action in advance”. The meanings which had this prefix in Old Slavic and has them in modern Russian are characterized, word-forming type of verbs with PRED- and frequency of their use are also considered. Taking into account the Old Slavonic origin of the studied prefix and the general fixation of some verbs with the PRE for religious discourse, a working hypothesis is formulated that the verbs with PRE-implemented in the churchtheological sphere of functioning, as well as in other functional areas, which are characterized by the use in accordance with subjects of texts of units with prospective semantics. An analysis of the contexts with the verb predvidet’ (to foresee) (against the background of contexts with videt’ (to see) partially confirmed the hypothesis put forward, demonstrating the predominant use of the prefix verb in the texts of educational, scientific, artistic and journalistic functional areas with the themes “Politics and Public Life”, “Science and Technology”, “Art and Culture” and a small percentage of the implementation of the verb in the church-theological sphere. Conclusion. Due to the data from the Russian National Corpus we could identify a range of discursive implementations of the verb with the prefix PRED- at the present stage, confirm the presence of a certain correlations between the prefix meaning, the functional sphere and subject of the text in which the prefix verb is implemented. Also it helps as to demonstrate the necessity for further study of the functional features of Russian verbal prefixes on the material of the corpus data.
