5402 | Polyphenol oxidase and peroxidase activity was determined in virgin peat deposit (3 m) and residual eutrophic peat (1 m) under permanent grasses in microfield experiment. Enzyme activity in virgin soil was determined through the thickness (0–100 cm); in residual peat – up to 60 cm deep – at the beginning of observations (1993), and through the profile – in subsequent terms (2002 and 2008). While the ratio «polyphenol oxidase activity: peroxidase activity» was approximately equal to 1, that could point to the relational balance of the processes of synthesis and decay of humic substances – both in virgin and reclamated peat of investigated ecosystem. 5404 | The urgency and necessity of the study of ethno-cultural aspects of the Tatar personal names is caused by the fact that so far in Tatar anthroponymics mainly historical and linguistic problems of personal names have been studied, while the fundamental factor in the formation and functioning of the national system is ethnocultural. The purpose of this work is to define the ethno-cultural space of the names – wishes category in the Tatar anthroponyms. As a result, the study of personal names in ethno-cultural aspect shows that personal names are nationally marked language formation. Cultural and historical associations, ethnic and cultural connotations of personal names-wishes are generated by many extra-linguistic factors. 5405 | The article considers individual aspect of time perception. Firstly, a brief theoretical review of problem studies goes. Depending on mood and activity, personal time proceeds either quickly or slowly and it can be either pleasant or not. Positive emotions bring a deceptive impression of a fast flow of time. Negative emotions, on the contrary, subjectively lengthen the time intervals. The practical part examines around 30 modern English set expressions denoting time as perceived by a person. The conclusion says that the perception of time as short/long or pleasant/unpleasant is expressed in speech through fixed collocations used by authors of modern fiction. Short time is described in dictionary English set expressions as “fun” and “it flies”. Long time “hangs heavily on one’s hands.” Unpleasant time is “bad, hard, dark, evil, rough, thin, lean and it is not one’s own. Pleasant time is “good, easy, the best of one’s life, the time of one’s life, high and there’s a lot of it”. Pleasant time “has its moments, it is one’s finest hour and it makes one’s day”. Fiction authors’ creative thinking depicts bad time as “poor, awful, dreadful, horrible, terrible, very uncomfortable, devil of a time and hell of a bloody time”. Pleasant time is “nice, lovely, great, excellent, delightful, smashing, terrific, fantastic, marvelous, riotous, and dead good”. The considered aspect of a writer’s individual style of personal, timerelated vocabulary is worth further research. 5406 | The article analyses a topological aspectof ambivalent functioning of ame slave mythologeme in journalism and artistic prose of authors pertaining to different generations of the first wave of the Russian emigration (N. Teffi, I. Ehrenburg, G. Adamovich, A. Kuprin, N. Berberova). An ironic modus of ame slave (being a variant of a Western representation of the Other) in the works of émigré writers does not negate semantic significance of a cultural code conceptualizing a problem of a person’s self-identification in the alien cultural space. Those having the mysterious Slavic soul had different attitudes to attempts of external definition of their mentality. There is a wide range of impressions, from a serious and unconditional acceptance as a given fact (demonstrated by I. S. Shmelyov) to an ironic play upon a meaningless cliché of a mass consciousness (N. Lossky, I. Ehrenburg). Teffi devoted almost all of her writings of the émigré period to parody-like incomprehension of the Western world and mentality on behalf of the ame slave. Her story of the same name (L’ame slave, 1927) contains two tales of excessive Russian trust and marvelous capacity for self-deceit. A somewhat more complex embodiment of the mysterious Slavic soul one may find in the works of Aleksandr Kuprin (The Wheel of Time and Jeannette) and Nina Berberova (Roquenval and Astashev in Paris) where the authors use it to explore issues of émigré existence and national identity. 5407 | The article deals with one of the key trends in the study process at a technical university – a professional-focused direction in foreign languages teaching methods, the aim of which is to form a foreign language competence in the professional field. The authors consider the significance and multidimensionality of this problem in a technical university educational process, in particular, in training of correspondence students. The authors presume that professional-focused training can significantly enhance the motivation of the students to master a foreign language, since they realize the practical benefit of this knowledge for their future successful professional functioning. The experience of working with correspondence students at a technical university, monitoring their language needs, allows the authors to present a model of professional-focused English language teaching, the key characteristic of which is the creation of the actual teaching and methodological support of the discipline „Foreign Language“. 5408 | In modern society, the social value and role of special libraries that fulfill information, cultural, educational and rehabilitation functions is increasing. The library organizes, stores, and provides users with the Fund, including electronic materials, tactile-audio-visual plan, and other documents intended for the blind and visually impaired. In addition, it provides easy access to information for people with disabilities through the use of adaptive technology and heat engineering funds, provides support for vocational training, socio-cultural, recreational activities of persons with disabilities, promoting their rehabilitation and socialization through books and reading. The article makes an attempt not just to consider the activities and role of special libraries in providing people with various forms of disabilities with free and equal access to information resources and services, but also to determine the model of the development of institutions of this type. The above mentioned aspects of the mission of the special libraries are aimed at providing easy access to library information and cultural services. A model for the development of special libraries has been developed, which is aimed at improving the conditions for creating an independent life of the disabled and the disabled population of the Russian Federation through unhindered access to information and library and socio-cultural resources and services. 5409 | Introduction. In the modern conditions of the information society, social adaptation of people with deep eyesight impairments depends largely on their information and communication competence. IC competence of people with deep eyesight impairment is considered as an ability to use information and communication technologies in professional, educational, household activities; navigate in the information space; receive and use information with the help of information typhlotechnologies. The purpose of the article is to describe the stages of planning a methodical system for IC competence formation of students with deep eyesight impairments. Material and methods. The research was carried out on the basis of theoretical principles about methodological systems and empirical methods of research. In developing the methodological system, requirements and recommendations were used, based on the clarified concept of information and communication competence of eyesight impaired persons, as well as on the key principles of a competence-based approach to learning. Results and discussion. The stages of planning a methodological system for the formation of information and communication competence of students with eyesight disabilities are presented. The developed methodological system includes the need-motivational, target, informative, operational-activity, effective and controlling components. In modern conditions, it is important for students as future specialists to form their information culture. In this regard, information systems and technologies are intensively used in education. One of the instruments of forming of information culture of students is the discipline of “Informatics” which is taught to the students studying in the directions of preparation “Economics” and “Conflictology”. As the obligatory components of competences that must be formed in the course of studying the discipline “Informatics”, the skills of processing of text information, preparation of data in spreadsheets and developments of databases can be singled out. Therefore, one of the main competencies that are formed in the course of studying the discipline “Informatics”, in our opinion, is the ability to use modern technical means and information technologies (PK-8) for solving analytical and research problems. Analysis of the experience of teachers of the Department of Informatics and Mathematics of Saint-Petersburg University of Humanitarian and Social Sciences shows that the educational and methodological support of independent work on the discipline “computer science”, develops at a fairly high methodological level and is actively used in educational process. 5418 | This article is devoted to consideration of ways of conveying surprise in the artistic texts of I. A. Bunin compared to the translations into the Chinese language. From the point of view of cultural forms associated with the expression of emotions, traditions of transforming culture can be in different positions in relation to the source. In the present work, three groups of investigated units were singled out: 1) a way to express emotions in case of coincidence of the original and of the translating cultures; 2) a method of expressing emotions in the case of partial matches between the original and translating cultures; 3) a way to express emotions in case of discrepancy between the original and translating cultures. In Bunin’s fiction the emotion of wonder is expressed in three ways: nominative; descriptive; actually emotive. Translation of a literary text is inevitably exposed to the influence of the interpreter’s national picture of the world because of its conditionality to the language and culture of the people. In addition, the translation of a literary text helps to better understand the national, cultural-linguistic sense of the art work, and in several respects reveals the native Chinese speakers’ language picture of the world. 5419 | The issue of training cadets of military higher educational institutions for the Olympiad in Informatics is under consideration. The nominations of the Olympiad are described and the methodical aspects of training cadets for one of the topics of the first round are described in detail – the use of the MS Word application in solving military-applied problems. Based on the analysis of the Olympiad assignments on computer science of the past years, a classification of tasks has been performed on this topic. The following types of tasks are identified: working with text; work with objects that are not text; execution of the document; automation of mailing; creation of macros and electronic forms. The method of teaching the solution of the selected types of Olympiad problems is described with the help of a set of different levels of difficulty in the exercises. Each subsequent exercise should either be based on the previous one, or repeat the sequence of actions formed in the previous tasks, which allows you to consolidate the result of the previous work. At the same time, in each subsequent exercise, a new action (or several actions united by one group of teams) must necessarily be added, which accentuates the attention of the cadet, thereby contributing to a more meaningful assimilation. Expansion and gradual complication of the set of exercises or the creation of a new sequence of similar tasks allows you to gradually master all the necessary material. A generalization of methodological provisions is made on the basis of which the method of preparing cadets for the speech at the Olympiad in the first round is proposed: it is necessary first to classify tasks for each topic of the tour, then to develop a set of exercises that form the cadet’s free operation with the actions necessary to solve problems of each type. The main principles for assessing the quality of educational activity are revealed. The article states that the scientific understanding of estimating the quality of educational services in the sphere of the additional professional training does not yet meet the real needs in practice. The results of the study, which determines the need for additional professional education for civil servants in management, are presented. The relationship between the need for additional training and personal attitude to the school has been established. The productivity and effectiveness of the organizational and educational conditions required for the effective implementation and developing the quality assessment model for educational activities in the system of additional professional education for state civil employees are determined. The structural and functional model for the quality assessment of educational services with the participation of consumers is suggested. According to this model selfexamination, introspection and external expertise (reflection, research, design of the educational environment) become the leading methods of the assessment. 5421 | The article deals with problems of cognitive linguistics. The fundamental concepts comprising world language picture is the centre of attention. The article traces the verbalization of the concept of “bread” in the Russian language, using materials from the academic dictionary that contain some phraseological units with component “bread”, each of which implements one of the main cognitive features of this concept. On the basis of the examples given, it is shown that the degree of phraseologization of these units is different, but nevertheless all of them retain a connection with the original denotate. This circumstance contributes to the preservation of positive connotations in this phraseological paradigm. The analysis of cognitive signs to identify the scope of the concept of “bread” in the language picture of the world of the Russian people is carried out. The question of the original meaning, which forms the main nominative meaning of the word “bread” in Russian, which is present in the semantic structure of all derivatives, regardless of the degree of their distance from the creation of a semantic base, is considered. For the bulk identification of the concepts of “bread” in the linguistic picture of the world of Russian people, an analysis was conducted on the basis of cognitive signs. The fundamental nature of the concept “bread” in a language picture of the world of the Russian people with all evidence is shown at all levels. A complete idea of the scope of this concept can be created only with regard to folklore material. However, the system of the most important cognitive signs is successfully traced on the material of lexical, phraseological and paremiological units. We have been collecting the corresponding materials from dictionaries of V. I. Dal, V. M. Ogoltsev, D. N. Ushakov, M. Fasmer, and the four-volume academic dictionary of Russian (the Small Academic dictionary). The task of cognitive or linguistic-cognitive analysis is to analyze language units, focused on identifying cognitive signs that represent this concept in the structure of a particular character. The research shows that cognitive characteristics realized by the concept “bread” embrace the image of bread in the national thinking of Russian nation. 5429 | The article explains the choice of the empirical material as the cognitive-discursive research of written texts – compositions, which is a component of the Russian Unified State Exam on the Russian language. The key point of the author is that the modeling potential of these speech patterns allows creating an invariant of a high school graduate worldview picture. The modeling direction within the given research gives a reconstruction of the represented in a system of certain frames worldview of the modern high school child in the aspect of the axiological characteristics. The text, reflecting in itself a fragment of the world picture is the richest material for the researcher wishing to analyze not only the originality of the author’s position on this or that question, his or her creative potential, but also a system of the author’s signature style evaluations, and also priorities in a foreshortening of axiological preferences. It is noted that the formation of the high school graduate worldview is carried out in difficult historical and socio-cultural conditions, on the one hand because of the economic and political changes which happened during the last decades in Russia and the world, on the other hand because of the world values shift in the society and, as a result, contradictions in an axiological paradigm of different generations representatives. 5430 | The article proves that it is necessary to assess the quality of higher education by revealing whether students are satisfied with teaching. It describes the findings obtained by monitoring medical students’ satisfaction with Latin teaching. The findings indicate that most students (77.3 % – 2014, 86 % – 2015) have an average level of satisfaction, which is not sufficient for university students. The Latin teaching, therefore, needs to be improved. 5432 | Introduction. In the process of bilingual education, pupils must not only master the content of the subject, but also overcome language difficulties. Taking into account the relationship between speech and mathematical activity, this article reveals the essence and structure of bilingual mathematical competence, the formation of which allows bilingual pupils to successfully learn the program of main school in the conditions of national Russian bilingualism. Some ways of forming bilingual mathematical competence focused on the development of the culture of mathematical speech, as well as teaching students to apply multicultural knowledge are also proposed. The aim of the article is to describe the methodology for the formation of bilingual mathematical competence in primary school pupils in the conditions of national Russian bilingualism. Material and methods. In this study, we used theoretical methods of comparative analysis, synthesis and generalization of the content of domestic and foreign scientific, pedagogical and methodological literature on the problem of research. Results and discussion. In the course of the work, we analyzed the research that indicates a close relationship between the language of instruction and the subject mathematical content. It was found that in the conditions of bilingual education, it is necessary to take into account students’ native language. In addition, it was found that the level of native and the Russian languages proficiency affects the mathematical achievements of bilingual pupils. This analysis led to the conclusion that the result of bilingual education should be a synthesis of certain competencies that provide a high level of language proficiency and deep development of the subject content. Conclusion. As a result of the research, the concept of bilingual mathematical competence is clarified, which synthesizes the subject, special language (in native and the Russian languages) and intercultural components. The system of mathematical tasks was presented, which is aimed at the development of mathematical speech of pupils, which ensures the formation of subject and special language components, and also clarified the concepts that should be included in the plot of text-based mathematical tasks for the formation of an intercultural component of bilingual mathematical competence. The results of this research will later serve as the basis for conducting an experimental study to test the effectiveness of the proposed training tools, which are designed to form a bilingual mathematical competence. 5438 | The aim of this work is to discuss some specifics of translating Czech children poetry to the Russian language. For the analysis were chosen the poem called “První pohádka (Princeznička na bále)” (The First Fairy Tale; Princess at the Ball), written by well-known Czech poet Frantisek Hrubin, and its translation “Принцесса кораллы свои потеряла” (The Princess Who Lost Her Beads) by Mikhail Landman. The analysis exposed the specifics of the translation such as: more phraseological and idiomatic expressions than in the original poem and more developed and concrete description of the places and characters. More specific descriptions of the places could lead to activation of imagination in child mind. The increase of phraseological and idiomatic expressions is justified by the adaptation of the Czech poem into the structure of traditional Russian national literature. The name of the Czech protagonist “Honzik” corresponding to the Russian Ivanushka-Durachok and the basic ironic modality of the poem were not altered in the translation. The translator may have left the original names for one of two reasons: either to avoid the necessity of changing the names of other characters, leading to a monolingual structure of the translation, or to create an opportunity for the Czech names to obtain new associations of their own in the Russian language. The ironic undertone of the poem’s finale is kept in the translation but it is presented by different means. 5439 | The article is devoted to the problem of the formation of a headmaster’s humanitarian culture. The purpose of the article is to reveal the intrinsic components of this phenomenon and to show the manifestations of humanitarian culture through the formation processes of a person’s spirituality. The author discloses spirituality through the poliparadigmatic approach in science, defines the pedagogical essence of spirituality, considers its formation as a process of self-building and personal growth. The article states that the humanitarian culture of a headmaster is a necessary factor for forming spiritual environment of school. At the same time the personality of headmaster is considered to be capable of spiritual enrichment and self-development and is a carrier of special spirituality and of pedagogical mentality - intelligence. Intelligence, as a quality of the personality, can be developed if spiritual and moral values need self-development, and high humanitarian culture become the inner regulators of a headmaster. The research shows that the pedagogical community imposes high requirements to spiritual and moral personal qualities of a head, such as decency, nobility, conscientiousness, justice, high spirituality and culture. The examples of two innovative schools of the Amur Region (Gymnasium №1 in Tynda and Secondary school №1 in Arkhara) have shown how the humanitarian culture of a headmaster influences the spiritual environment of a school. According to the author, this environment will be as such if upbringing is based on spiritual and moral values, spiritual unity of a school, professional activity of the “spiritual mentors” which are capable to awake souls of their pupils and a headmaster as a well-educated person. 5441 | The relevance of this study is due to the fact that the high level of speech activity ensures the establishment of positive interpersonal relationships of preschoolers with peers and the child’s occupation of a certain status position in the children’s collective. The author raises the question of comparative characteristics of speech activity of preschool children with different sociometric statuses. The article describes the criteria, indicators and levels of speech activity of preschool children, which are used in the organization of observations of children of different sociometric statuses in free play and organized joint activities. In particular, such criteria of speech activity as initiative, type of speech communication, speech motivation, content and emotional expressiveness are highlighted. The results of the experiment, for example, revealed a high level of speech activity in children with the status of “stars”, the middle and low level of speech. The detailed description of levels and characteristics of speech activity of preschool children with different sociometric statuses is given. Statistics of comparison of criteria, levels of speech activity of children with different sociometric statuses and explanation of such differences are presented. Thus, the study revealed differences between children with the status of “stars” and “isolated” according to the criteria of speech initiative, motivation and types of speech communication. 5450 | The literary work of Z. Prilepin is not studied enough for objective reasons (the first novel “Pathology” was publicized in 2004). Prilepin’s prose attracted scholarly interest as an outstanding phenomenon of the modern Russian literature. The motif of childhood, that largely determines the stylistic manner of the writer, creates a kind of metatext of his artistic space. The application of structural-semiotic method to “decode” the cultural content of the motif of childhood in Prilepin’s novel “Sankya” allows to interpret the discourse of the writer, not only as the experience of becoming the “new realism” (in part, through intertextual dialogue with the Russian classics), but also as a creative search in the paradoxical metaphysics of postmodernism.
