This article represents pun as a part of non-equivalent vocabulary and possible ways of its translation. Pun is a concept that cannot be translated directly between languages that is why it often becomes the reason why translators struggle so much while finding the right solution when dealing with puns. Puns represent British culture and British humour. Puns are the reason why British humour is often called dry and why other people like Russians often find it unfunny. Such assumptions can happen due to the poor Russian translation where the pun doesn’t obtain the original comicality it previously had. To avoid this a translator needs to transfer the English pun into the Russian language without losing its comicality. The main objective for a translator is to understand the pun and keep its comicality along with author’s intention. To achieve this he can use the right translation transformations. The right choice of the translation transformation is necessary for a good translation. Having met this condition the translation can be considered as equivalent to the original text. In the present article we compared the original English text containing puns and its 6 translations in order to find those translation transformations which are the most suitable and which keep the comicality of the original text.

In the article the mechanism of the inner representation of the fi gurative sexuality is researched. Initially disclose of the sexual sensitivity is given as an unclear images, which might be rationally interpreted and, consequently, clarifi ed by the person in the future. The problem is that in the dominant sphere of heteronormativity the individual mixes socially legitimated description of sexuality and his own one, taking away possibility of his own authentic existence. Authentic perception of own sexual sensuousness is based on the inner representative acts, on the high degree of that which are authentic.

The research object of this article is the English medical discourse, the subject of the study is its genre differentiation. In modern native and foreign linguistics there are a various approaches to understanding of the term “discourse”. The English medical discourse belongs to the institutional discourses. The list of institutional discourses is quite extensive: political, diplomatic, administrative, legal, military, pedagogical, religious, mystical, medical, business, advertising, the discourse of Fashion, post, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, perfumery, gastronomic and others. The article considers the English medical discourse which represents the interaction of medical discourse proper, scientific and advertising medical, media discourse, legislative (legal), commercial, and academic discourses in the sphere of medicine. The leading role here belongs to the medical discourse proper. The medical discourse is characterized by the polyphonic inclusion of historical, encyclopedic, social and pharmaceutical discourses. The complex nature of the English medical discourse has generated a variety of genre forms.

The article is devoted to consideration of the questions connected with providing and formation of psychologically comfortable and safe educational environment. It is shown that one of the most actual problems of modern psychology is studying of the risk factors menacing to psychological safety of the educational environment, and also conditions promoting its security. The characteristic of pedagogical risk factors, negatively affecting development and health, and psychological safety of the trained is given. Results of empirical studying of indicators of psychological safety of the educational environment of high comprehensive schools are presented. Most of the examinees who took part in research was shown by the positive relation to the educational environment of the school, high level of satisfaction with characteristics of the educational environment and high level of security from psychological violence.

The vocative is considered as a very important element of epistolary discourse. This article is devoted to description of the vocatives in structural and semantic aspect in epistolary heritage feature of A. P. Chekhov. Letters of famous writers – an important source, which plays a big role for the study of personality and creativity of their authors, historical events, the characteristics of the era, as well as people who are close to them and familiar, with which they communicate. In this respect, a great interest is the epistolary heritage of the great Russian playwright Anton Pavlovich Chekhov. As the material for the analysis serve the letters written by the writer to the large audience for the period of 1890. In this correspondence the vocatives were analyzed, as the most interesting and revealing element of the original style of the great writer, and in particular important element of national and cultural heritage in general. The purpose of work is to examine the structure and the functions of vocatives used in Chekhov’s letters, to reveal their specific character in his correspondence. In the analysis of vocatives’ structure there have been allocated a group of extended and non-extended vocatives. The goup of words, which distribute the vocative is the adjectives. In this paper it has also been highlighted in the form of references in official business and personal correspondence of Chekhov. In the Chekhov’ correspondence the leading place is occupied by the personal writer’s letters. Summarizing the analysis, we can conclude that the vocatives in Chekhov’s letters generally perform two functions: the nominative and the characterization function, which shows the relationship between the author and the addressee.

We show here how it is possible to build a OFT on the horizon of a Schwarzschild-like spacetime That theory, found by restricting bulk quantum fields on the horizon, is equivalent to GFT on the bulk. That fact is called Holography. Moreover the hidden conformal symmetry (SL(2, R)) found for the bulk theory becomes manifest on the horizon in terms of some of its diffeomorphisms. Then the extension of group of the generator of that symmetry to the Virasoro algebra is discussed.

The article is dedicated to the relation of the two plot lines in Bulgakov's play “The Crimson Island”. The primary thread is focused on the themes of theatrical “production” and repertoire problems, the relationship between theater administration and the aspiring author, the state, impersonated by the all-powerful bureaucrat, and the rehearsal, which, given the extreme circumstances with the possibility of the theater closing, is already being run as the final, general rehearsal. The secondary thread, the history of a remote island, lies at the foundation of the aforementioned play. The researchers outline this as a self-contained text within a text. Analysis of the event poetics allows the authors to claim that the expressiveness of “The Crimson Island” as such a text is characterized by the constant breaking through borders of two interweaving plotlines.

The article is devoted to comparative social and psychological analyses of portrait features of first-year students studying at Krasnoyarsk State Pedagogical University named after V. P. Astafyev. Studies social characteristics, motives of choosing the university, attitude to teacher’s profession, expectations from pedagogical process and future professional activity, specific characteristics for the first-year students’ career group. The most important factor determining the success of professional training is students’ motivation, their interest to teacher’s profession. The main result of the experiment is orientation of first-year students to become a qualified professional of high level, that will provide them with great success at the beginning of their working way. Entering Krasnoyarsk State Pedagogical University named after V. P. Astafyev is a way for first-year students to realize their vital aims and plans. The students are eager to get education, which will help them to become specialists in the changing conditions of professional activity, to admit these reforms. Students’ achievements and results are reflected in their personal portfolio. First-year students formulate an order for personal growth trainings, which help to develop the competence to change quickly and adapt to new working conditions. Forming of such competences will simplify students’ acceptance of the new social conditions. Also they hope that their achievements and activity in different spheres of students’ life will be appreciated. The research helps to define the direction of developing a set of measures: to adopt first-year students to educational process at pedagogical university aimed at formation of professional pedagogical values of students of Krasnoyarsk State Pedagogical University named after V. Aristov Stanislav Vasilyevich PROBLEMS OF THE CONCENTRATION CAMP SALASPILS HISTORY (1941–1944) // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2017. Issue 9 (186). P. 24-30

The article discusses debatable issues related to the history of the Nazi concentration camp Salaspils. Appeal to these problems is relevant in connection with repeated attempts to revise the history of this camp in European historiography, as well as in connection with the lack of Russian generalizing works on Salaspils. The source of the research was unpublished materials of the Extraordinary State Commission (State Archives of the Russian Federation), materials on the criminal case of Friedrich Eckeln (Central Archive of the FSB), Nazi documents on Salaspils (Russian State Military Archive) testimonies of former prisoners kept in the Yad Vashem archives (Jerusalem), as well as published documents. The article examines the status of the Salaspils and proves the term “concentration” in regard to this camp. It means the camp had two main functions – exploitation and destruction of prisoners. The structure of camp management is characterized, as well as the problem of the number of children who have passed through the concentration camp and experiments on them. The number of prisoners and the death toll in the camp are considered. The author concludes that the number of victims in Salaspils could reach the figure indicated by the Extraordinary State Commission – about 50,000 people. About 7,000 of these victims were children.

The second part of the article presented in this publication continues the discussion about the contextual study of the play by Alexander Vampilov Last Summer in Сhulimsk. The study is based on the criticism methodology of studying of the literature that is relevant in contemporary literature and reveals the themes, problems, plots, motives common for the world literary space. The author’s model of the play by Alexander Vampilov, who worked in the tideway of a nonclassical art paradigm, is based on the free variation of elements of known plots (in particular, the above mentioned Romeo and Juliet) which act here as a cultural model. The most attention in the article is given to the devices of disclosing of the semantic potential of images of the main characters – Luka and Yeremeyev, to determination of their functions in the logic of the action and the location in the system of characters. Eight objects of peat with 38-453 years after drainage on the territory of Belarus Polesye were selected. In article are presented data of estimation their water-physical and biochemical characteristics, as well as factious composition of organic matter and of soil nitrogen forms of the peat soils on different stages of agricultural use after drainage. Examination these objects have shown that in process of agricultural use of the dranned peat soils their full degradation does not occur. The most active phase of peat organic matter mineralization stopped approximately after 50 years of the use, but after 200 years approaches the stabilization of the biochemical processes. Under correct and rational carry out of farm production (sparing processing of soil, optimal combination organic, macro- and micro-fertilizes, selecting the forage cultures) these lands possible to use indefinitely long. As a result on place of the dranned peat shaping barren soils and forecasts does not occur, predicted in a short time formation of semidesert on place all achieving worn-out peat, as minimum, exaggeration.

Introduction. The hagiographic tradition is explored in “The Life of the Great Sinner” and in the novel “The Brothers Karamazov” by F. M. Dostoevsky. Materials and research methods. The material of the study are the artistic, journalistic and documentary texts of F. M. Dostoevsky. The work uses the cultural-historical, comparative, structural, typological, biographical methods, as well as the method of conceptual analysis. Results and discussion. The focus of researchers is on the implementation of life traditions in the works under study at the level of the structure and ideological plans of the works, for example, the life orientation of the narrator, the system of characters. All available research trajectories are usually directed to work inside artistic texts and demonstrate a receptive literary review of the stated problems, or have an interpretation of Christian motifs and images. Conclusion. A holistic study of hagiographic tradition in the work of F. M. Dostoevsky on the material of the novel “The Brothers Karamazov” and “The Life of the Great Sinner” can be implemented by applying a set of approaches to the study: historical, cultural, biographical. It is also necessary to use the axiological approach in the analysis of the literary texts of the writer, in journalism, ego-documents of Dostoevsky himself, and his close circle. An appropriate structure of the materials under study should be built with the rationale for their involvement. In this direction, the study of the author’s ideology, understanding of the author’s worldview and features of his consciousness, as well as the study of the environment of historical reality and its influence on the writer, which will bring new insights into the problem of studying hagiographic tradition in literary analysis.
