The article is dedicated to the relation of the two plot lines in Bulgakov's play “The Crimson Island”. The primary thread is focused on the themes of theatrical “production” and repertoire problems, the relationship between theater administration and the aspiring author, the state, impersonated by the all-powerful bureaucrat, and the rehearsal, which, given the extreme circumstances with the possibility of the theater closing, is already being run as the final, general rehearsal. The secondary thread, the history of a remote island, lies at the foundation of the aforementioned play. The researchers outline this as a self-contained text within a text. Analysis of the event poetics allows the authors to claim that the expressiveness of “The Crimson Island” as such a text is characterized by the constant breaking through borders of two interweaving plotlines.

The article describes the model of financial competence for middle school students. It is based on the analysis of the results of PISA and structure of citizens’ everyday financial life. Financial competence is complex and includes such knowledge and skills as the ability to form family budget, estimate possibilities of income increase, prevent income decrease and costs increase, use calculations to estimate income and costs, read and understand financial documents, differentiate financial documents and promotional materials, understand own customer’s and taxpayer’s rights and duties. It also includes the ability to protect customer’s rights and critically analyse information. This competence can be formed and developed through a series of three educational interactive quest games for students aged 12–15. Each game is dedicated to one of the aspects: personal finance, banking services and investment tools. During the game students visit check-points corresponding to financial institutions such as banks, insurance companies, businesses, trading markets, legal advisors, etc. At each check point participants study general information and complete real-life tasks in order to reach the objective of the game. These games were experimentally held in school and open education which proved their effectiveness. The article contains some examples of tasks from these games to illustrate their methodical basis.

The article considers the concept of a linguo-cultural type as the synthesizing type and to manifestation of a linguo-cultural type the “weirdo” (crank) and to his manifestation in art texts of V. M. The article represents the results of the empirical research devoted to a problem of interage interaction of teenagers. Interage interaction is considered by theoretical positions of social constructionist and social identity theories. It is shown, that teenagers are characterized by a high level of age tolerance which influences current of interaction with those age groups, which have limited experience of interaction (children and older persons). The interaction with other social groups is based on other social categorizations, besides age. The basis of subjective differentiation to estimations of interaction with various age groups is the status-role inequality of these groups.

The work, as the second part of the synthesis of historiography research, includes a substantial characteristic of the third and fourth historical stages. The third stage (the second half of the 1970-ies and the first half of the 1980- ies) is linked to the research by V. I. Molodin. The fourth stage of the historiography of the second half of the 1980-ies – the beginning of 2010-ies) is represented by the works by V. I. Molodin, V. A. Zakh, J. F. Kirushin, V. V. Bobrov and N. Y. Kungurova. The genetic linkage of modern concepts with theoretical practices of the 1950-first half of the 1970-ies is considered. The conclusion concerning the existence of lines of scientific continuity, which caused a long coexistence of several mutually exclusive cultural-chronological schemes, is drawn.

Proceeding from the system of the principles, the main components of pedagogical monitoring of innovations are defined.

The author regards the rhetorical category of colloquality with the reference to the theory of different types of speech culture as the relevant feature of public speech of the representatives of the elite type of speech culture. The article is devoted to the problems of teaching English as a second foreign language (after German). It surveys the main principles of third-language teaching and discusses the possible ways of developing speaking skills. There has been an attempt in the technology to combine the two aspect sides of speech (fluency and accuracy) with the third one – pronunciation. The solution of the problem lies in the proper organization of the material, the item of which is a bilingual communicatively-intentional block, built around two texts: German and English.

The psycho-physiological problem is still the point at issue in the works on psychology and physiology of Western researchers, scientists and philosophers. During last three decades it has been discussing from different approaches, and such philosophers as Paul M. Churchland, W.Quine and others suggested their alternative solutions of the problem. T.Nigel's conception, disposed towards a materialist approach to the psycho-physiological problem, seems to be the most reasonable theory on the evidence. It has been found that intravenous administration of cannabinoids (ACPA, anandamide, methanandamide) solubilized in the mixture (cremophore EL : ethanol : 0,9% NaCl, 1:1:18) and Tocris water soluble emulsion of the same cannabinoids induced a completely identical negative chronotropic effect in chloralose-anesthetized rats. The selective CB1 and CB2 receptor agonist HU-210 (0.1 mg/kg) also induced a negative chronotropic effect in rats. Pretreatment with the CB1 receptor antagonist SR141716A (1 mg/kg) completely abolished this effect of HU-210. The CB2 receptor antagonist SR144528 (1 mg/kg) had no effect on the HU-210-induced bradycardia. Pretreatment with the ganglion blocker hexamethonium (10 mg/kg) also did not eliminate a negative chronotropic effect of HU-210 and ACPA. A 10-min perfusion of isolated rat heart by Krebs-Heseleit solution containing HU-210 in a final concentration 100 nM/L induced a decrease in the heart rate. It has been concluded that negative chronotropic effect of cannabinoids is mediated via an activation of cardiac CB1 receptors.

Sabrekov Aleksandr Faritovich, Kleptsova Irina Evgenyevna, Glagolev Mikhail Vladimirovich, Maksyutov Shamil Shavratovich, Machida Toshinobu Methane emission from middle taiga oligotrophic hollows of Western Siberia // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2011. Issue 5 (107). P. 135-143

The paper presents experimental data on the methane emissions from West Siberian middle taiga oligotrophic hollows. Studied fluxes vary considerably from –0.08 to 58 mgС·m–2·h–1 (median is 2.76 mgС·m–2·h–1). Received data are consolidated in the scope of «standard model» Bc8 conception of methane emission. The model contains medians of CH4 flux distributions on seven different microlandscape types depending on their area and duration of methane emission in the respective zones. The total flux from the middle taiga oligotrophic hollows is 0.37 TgC or approximately 70 % of CH4 total flux from middle taiga mires. Version Bc8 of this model estimates the value of yearly CH4 emission from mires of whole Western Siberia as 2.93 TgC·yr–1 that accounts for around 2.4 % of the total mire methane emission.
