The article considers ornithomorphical symbols of aquatic birds in traditional culture of the Khanty. It is shown that in the national tradition birds are endowed with definite signs in accordance with their real idea, however, such perception is refracted through the prism of the mythological consciousness. They thought that aquatic birds that capable of being both in air and on earth, and under the water can own three worlds: upper, middle and lower. It’s revealed that content of goose’s and duck’s images are the most archaic, they kept a deep imprint in Folklore, many folk epithets are formed on their foundation. Symbols of the majority of investigated birds reflect modern religion imagines. Birds are considered to be the hypostasis of the actual spiritual protectors.

The clause is devoted to the analysis of means of verbalization concept "Christening" in Russian national fairy tale. Named concept is a component of a folklore Christian picture of the world. Its consideration represents significant research interest in connection with a role of sacrament of a christening to life of the orthodox Christian. Thus those scripts which were reflected in Russian national fairy tale are marked, and the reasons of such choice come to light. Lexical means of verbalization concept "Christening" are allocated first of all and their role in the folklore text is defined. So the value of God parents established by church canons, and reflected in national consciousness, for example, is compared, and also various national signs and the customs connected with a christening and God are considered. Thus the special attention is given type of a fairy tale in which it is reflected data concept - magic, household or a fairy tale on animals. The urgency of work is connected with revival of Christianity and heightened interest to its history.

The article deals with creolized texts consisting of verbal and nonverbal (paragraphemic) elements. With a change of the scientific paradigm studying of a language with its links with other semiotic systems, including non-verbal code becomes very topical. The main method of creolization of a text is to combine a verbal means and an image into a coherent whole linguo-visual formation. A fashion catalogue is a typical creolized text created by the model of: a verbal text is equal to an image. That means that it is primarily created as a creolized text where the verbal and the visual components are specially selected for their interaction. A photographic image for fashion catalogue clients (readers) has a greater degree of significance, than a verbal (written) text. Here colour plays a special role, its psychological language creates a mood, evokes emotions and has symbolic meanings.

The impact function of the mass media causes the use of expressive means of language; the main of them is a metaphor. At the same time the impact of metaphor seems a rather complex phenomenon, so the study of its functions does not cease to be relevant. A wide range of functions of the metaphor and their hierarchy are considered in the context of the newspaper sport discourse on the example of the sports report genre. The analysis is illustrated by vivid examples from the Russian and German press; it shows that this figure of speech is the most important means of pragmatic impact in the sports discourse and in the written sports report, in particular. Consequently, the pragmatics has a target status in the hierarchy of functions. Expressiveness and evaluativity are considered as the most important functions. Moreover, the metaphor has a decorative, attractiveness, game, hyperbole, compression, conspire, encoding, and mnemonic functions that are rarely traced in the text of their own and rather provide a comprehensive impact on the reader. At the same time, the metaphor can perform almost the opposite tasks: mnemonic and conspiracy functions. Consequently, the functional properties of metaphors are in the relationship of interdependence and mutual reinforcement.

Then the experience of preparing and holding a game with senior school pupils is described. Schoolchildren translated limericks from English into Russian and pointed out basic schemes of their own activity. Rudoy Alexey Nikolaevich About the So-Called Fluvioglacial Deposits and the Place of Diluvial Processes Take in the Lithodynamic Succession // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2003. Issue 4 (36). P. 80-85

The article deals with the existing definitions of fluvioglacial deposits that are chiefly developed in the mountain lands. It also points out the main contradictions in field and laboratory diagnostics of fluvioglacial deposits contained in the fact that lithologic criteria for such diagnostics do not exist in the nature. It refers to all the facies of fluvioglacial deposits in the pre-glacial zone. The absence of lithologic criteria of distinguishing between the so-called fluvioglacial and mountainous alluvium is explained by the structure of all these deposits. It is conditioned by hydrodynamic peculiarities of the floods in which they are developed. Pre-glacial fluvial sediments undergo the process of laying many times both immediately by the glacier margin and under the glacier itself. Thus, it means that according to the well-spread classifications all the melt-water deposits (except pre-glacial lake deposits) should be called «alluvium». Besides, it often happens that some forms of a principally different genesis-diluvial origin-would be taken for the deposits of melt glacier water. The former it their turn have been formed by cataclysmic (i.e. - temporary) floods from ice-dammed lakes which outburst. Unclear diagnostics of water deposits leads to the difficulties in defining criteria to seek alluvial placers. The article shows the place of diluvial deposits in the row of other genetic types of loose sediments. The second part of the article deals with the energy essence of the diluvial morpholithogenesis from the points of natural risks.

Filchenko Andrey Yuryevich Functional-Pragmatic Perspective on Clause Argument Case-Marking in Eastern Khanty. // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2006. Issue 4 (55). P. 140-147

The paper outlines the types of discourse-pragmatic functions and kinds of propositional-semantic content associated with the Loc-marked Agent constructions in Eastern Khanty. Selected methodology includes contrastive morpho-syntactic and contextual analysis of the narrative corpus, attending to the information structure and linguistic meta-data. Based on discourse analysis, it is hypothesized, that a wide cognitive faculty facilitating the structuring of information and specifying the roles of the participants, governs the choice of grammatical means, i.e. the construction types. It follows from the analysis of pragmatic, semantic and grammatical features of interacting discourse participants that specific system’s grammatical resources identify with certain pragmatic-semantic properties. The Loc-Agent constructions are prototypically used to express the events with more than one argument with competing topicality. The Loc-Agent constructions (agented passive and “ergative”) manifest a parenthetical shift in centrality of the discourse referents, where a secondary topic referent is competing with the primary agentive topic. This is expressed by temporary promotion of the secondary topical referent to the Loc-marked S grammatical relation. N.V. Polyakova. The influence of mechanical grinding in abrading and cutting mills on the structure of peats, their physical, chemical and structurally-mechanical properties has been investigated. It was shown, that lowland peat has a big stock of elements of a mineral food, than high-moor peat. The grinding of high-moor peat increases its bulk density and leads to insignificant increase in a moisture capacity of both types of peat. Besides, the change of sizes of peat particles, group composition and rheological properties of peats has been investigated.

This paper presents the analysis of the metaphorical models of the concept of fact from the perspective of Cognitive Linguistics. More specifically, we attempt to show how Lakoff’s theory of conceptual metaphor can help us refine an unclear deem nature of the concept of fact in Modern English, which can accrue from the frequent occurrence of conventionalized metaphorical expressions about fact in everyday language. Thus, metaphor is understood as a partial mapping between conceptual domains of experience, a source domain and a target domain. In this way, we intend to make this interesting construct more useful and cognitively plausible instrument for our linguistic analysis.

The article is devoted to a conception of pedagogical techniques as the basic categories of specialists training for the needs of the tourism industry. Some peculiarities and specifics of the industry have been analyzed in detail, the necessity of exactly the module variations is substantiated. There have been presented some examples of modular technologies that can be perfectly adapted to such discipline as «Tourism economics». The theme in question is known to be poorly explored and requires further research. The article mainly focuses on the algorithm of actions applicable for the modular approach, and the idea is reinforced by an examination of the teacher’s role as a coach. Also a definition of this pedagogical concept has been proposed, and an adequate level of competency has been introduced. This thesis is confirmed by the peculiarities of the tourism market, which is regarded as a changeable and dynamic system. The main section of the paper presents some problem-theme blocks that can be successfully implemented into the «coach» system with the purpose to compose the «Change management strategy for the tourism business» module in the discipline «Tourism economics». In conclusion, as a brief summary of the reported study, the author introduces a concept «information literacy», which is introduced by means of such notions as follows: «a paradox of information redundancy management», «a paradox of education management», «a paradox of uncertainty and variability management».

The research of features of fluorescence of dispersed photosphors in conducted on the basis of organic and inorganic connections of a europium and polymer films with their components at excitation of solar radiation. The excitation of luminescence of phosphors by UV radiation of the sun does not change spectral content of luminescence radiation. For number of photophosphors on the basis of ocsysulfide of yttrium, activated with europium watches change of intensity of minor bands in luminescent spectrum concerning the principal band, that it is necessary to allow for consideration of photophysical characteristics of corrective light films with their components. The obtained data allow to conduct calculation of intensity of luminescence radiation under corrective light films with allowance for its spectral content

The scientific revolution of the end 19th – beginning 20th century had a great importance on the formation of Platonov’s world-view. Especially it refers to the Einshtein’s Theory of Relativity and the connected with it polemics about “the ethereal wind”. Platonov studied these conceptions in the beginning of 1920-s as a student of the physical and mathematical faculty, then he was interested in this matter like a philosopher and a man of letters. In the article the results of sociological research conducted by the authors are discussed and theoretical summarizing of the research results acquired with the support of RFH (project No. 12-03-00198 “Bioethics as a Form of Self-consciousness of Modern Culture”) based on the use of semiotic diagnostics methodological procedure developed by I.V.Melik-Gaykazyan. The dynamics of value and outlook of medical students observed and its cultural determination are explored.
