6052 | The article is devoted to studying of personal names of Tomsk Tatars of the first quarter of the XVIII century. The research objective is a complex description of functioning of the anthroponimics of Tomsk Tatars of the XVIII centuries in historical and linguistic aspect. In this research the general methods of linguistic research are used: descriptive, contrastive- comparative, structural, techniques of the system and functional analysis. On the basis of these archival materials the features of antroponimic system of Tomsk Tatars are considered, comparison with the systems of other people that allow to allocate their ethnocultural ties during the studied period is carried out. It is revealed that in the names of Tomsk Tatars are widely used the names charms formed from verbal components. On the materials the close interrelation of personal names of Tomsk Tatars with Turkic appellative lexicon is revealed. Many names of Tomsk Tatars became a genetic basis of many Tatar and Russian surnames which remained up to now. 6055 | We propose a new ghost-free model describing massive spin two field1 . This model consists of a kinetic term and interaction terms without derivative. We report on the properties of this model, especially we consider what could happen when this model couples with gravity. Although the model does not generate any ghost on the Minkowski space-time, it is not so clear whether or not this property is preserved even on curved space-time. In fact, Buchbinder et al. have found that the ghost appears even in the Fierz-Pauli theory on curved space-time if we do not include non-minimal coupling terms. We report on the model with interactions on curved space-time and show that we can construct a model without ghost by including non-minimal coupling terms. 6058 | The presented scientific work is aimed to show how effective is the use of interactive applications, including ActivInspire in Math lessons in schools of a special type, in this case schools in the colony. This article discusses key characteristics of interactive applications using the example of ActivInspire software. The study of the possibilities of interactive applications is based on the example of one of the most important topics of “Equation”. In addition to the technical features of interactive applications, the psychological aspects of the personality of prisoners in school are also studied and analyzed in detail. On the basis of this analysis, the importance and urgency of using interactive applications in the middle general school in the colony was proved. 6059 | In modern literary studies in the context of globalization processes “mass culture” is less criticized as something “low” in relation to “elite”. Mass literature claims equal rights with any other literature in connection with the latest discourse of relativism and pluralism, when there is no consistent hierarchy of literary values. Moreover, popular literature increasingly becoming better and more inventive. However, these processes also lead to the erasure of cultural identity, in particular national and religious, as shown in the article on the example of the Christian novel by William Paul Young “The Shack”. The novel significantly deviates from the norms of the biblical Canon in matters of the value of the Church, Scripture, the image of God, the concept of hierarchy, and this deviation is associated with such global processes as multiculturalism, democracy, individualism, liberalism, etc. For example, instead of addressing the Church and the Bible, the main character receives a note from God for a personal audience, during which God appears before him in the image of a large black woman. The mass popularity of the novel around the world testifies to the crisis of modern religious identity, as it is positioned as a Christian, and in fact is heretical. 6060 | Introduction. The article presents a concept of the ideographic dictionary of the Russian specialized vocabulary of construction. The relevance of the work is explained by the need for systematization of the construction vocabulary in modern Russian, and the lack of lexicographic sources of ideographic type on construction. The presence in the dictionary of the latest construction nominations that are not fixed in terminology dictionaries and standards determines the novelty of the designed dictionary. The article aims to present the concept of the ideographic dictionary of the specialized vocabulary of construction. Material and methods. The following sources serve as the database for the dictionary: terminological dictionaries, regulatory documents, scientific papers, educational sources, professional internet resources data, commercial catalogues of construction production. The methodology is based on general scientific and linguistic techniques of the descriptive method-aspect, including the technique of definitional analysis, as well as the lexicographic method of language learning. Results and discussion. The dictionary includes not only terms but also non-terminological units functioning in professional discourse, such as pre-terms, terminoids, professionalisms, professional jargon. The presented concept of the ideographic dictionary is structured according to the thematic principle and includes the vocabulary of the subject area “Building Technologies”. The main thematic groups are “Building Materials”, “Processes and Methods of Construction”, “Construction Equipment and Tools”. The dictionary entry contains a heading word, the grammatical characteristic of a specialized nomination, the qualification of a lexeme in the sublanguage of construction, the etymology zone for foreign language units, the definition zone, and the illustrative zone. The work presents examples of dictionary entries representing various types of definitions: generic definitions, generic definitions with elements of encyclopedic information, as well as reference definitions. A distinctive feature of the presented dictionary is the qualification of a specialized unit according to its place in the professional sublanguage (term, pre-term, terminoid, professionalism, professional jargon), as well as the presence in the dictionary of the latest terms of the construction industry. The illustrative area is represented by contexts that reveal the functioning of specialized nominations in modern professional discourse. Conclusion. Thus, the concept of the ideographic dictionary of construction vocabulary represents an educational ideographic dictionary, organized according to the logical-conceptual basis. The dictionary can be useful both for students and teachers of construction educational institutions, specialists in this subject area, and will also find application in the process of teaching linguistic disciplines and in terminographic practice. 6061 | Introduction. Terminology of IT-sphere is one of the most dynamically developing term systems. It is mainly explained by rapid technological progress in this sphere that encourages new nominations and clarification of the already existing terms. It is noteworthy that traditional one-component terms fail to meet the demands of the nomination process, as they are not able to reflect the complexity of new technical phenomena. As a result, multicomponent terms being capable of clear nominations start to numerously appear in computer terminology. At the same time, the structure and complicated meaning of multicomponent terms raise certain problems with their translation to other languages concerning the use of a variety of transformations. The aim of the research is to reveal the ways of translation of multicomponent terms belonging to IT-sphere from English into Russian taking into consideration their structural and semantic characteristics. Material and methods. The material of the research includes 500 English multicomponent terms of IT-sphere and 500 their Russian equivalents taken from the computer terms dictionary by I. V. Baratov through the method of continuous sampling. The study also uses the method of structural-semantic and translational analysis. Results and discussion. Multi-component terms in the field of information technology can be divided into three groups depending on the number of components, determined by the number of elements expressed by meaningful parts of speech: three-, four- and five-component terms. Three-component terms are the most numerous group, which is due to the desire of any language to save, only two five-component terms were found, so it is not possible to talk about the patterns of their translation. While studying the ways of translation of 3-component terms it was noted that the translator always tends to preserve the structure and meaning of the original term using calquing of the whole multicomponent term or some of its elements (44 % of cases). At the same time due to the typological differences between the English and Russian languages the translator has to resort to grammar transformations in the Russian language such as changing the order of the components, using cases and prepositions, changing parts of speech. As for the lexical transformations apart from calquing the translator uses lexical addition in case of necessary clarification of term components or description when the phenomenon denoted by the term does not exist in the Russian language. In 13 % of cases the translator resorts to equivalent when the Russian language has a shorter but capacious term expressing the same meaning as the multicomponent English term. In translation of 3-component terms in at least 13 % of cases the translator manages to preserve the structure of the original English term changing only the parts of speech of some components in case of 4-component and 5-component terms inversion or changing of the general order of the components turns out to be the key transformation. Among lexical transformations calquing of certain components, lexical addition, equivalent translation and description are used. Conclusion. The analysis of the ways of translation of multicomponent terms of IT-sphere from English into Russian revealed the dependence of grammar transformations on the typological characteristics of the languages. For example, English collocations are marked by regressive structure and post-position of the main word with an adjointment as the typical type of syntactic connection, while in the Russian language the collocations are built according to progressive structure with the preposition of the main word and government as a syntactic connection. As a result, the transformations while translating multicomponent terms from English into Russian manly include a change in the order of components, the use of cases and prepositions, and a change in parts of speech. Even in a small number of 3-component terms, it is possible to preserve the original structure of the term by replacing the parts of speech of the dependent word (a noun with an adjective) to form a collocation with an agreement as a type of syntactic connection. As for lexical transformations, among them the most commonly used are calque of one or all components of a phrase, clarification, transliteration (mainly one or two components), lexical addition and description as a lexico-grammatical transformation. It is necessary to note that due to the complexity of the structure and meaning of the multicomponent terms their adequate translation is only possible using a set of ways and methods of translation. Implementation of this requirement is possible with the use of cloud technologies that solve the problem associated with the installation, updating, support for the operation of software and hardware by providing remote access to various cloud services. When studying the disciplines of the information cycle, we focus on cloud services that support the SaaS model (the provision of various software) and STaaS (storage of information as a service). The analysis of the results of questioning of “Clinical Psychology” students showed that they are familiar only with the notion of cloud technologies and in practice they only use services for storing information, creating text documents, presentations and spreadsheets. Therefore, it is important in the process of studying the disciplines of the information cycle to introduce the students to a wide range of cloud technologies that will be in demand in future professional activities. At the training sessions, learners are introduced to the capabilities of the cloud tool o-cheloveke.ru, which allows you to diagnose characteristics of a person. Next, explore the features of the online Google calendar, in which they create events, translate the texts in Google Translate; create diagrams or charts in Google Drawings; work in a social network Google+, where they create circles, communities of interest; exchange messages, calls and video meetings on Google Hangouts. 6064 | Introduction. The idea of Superman was more relevant than ever at the turn of the last Millennium. Echoes of thoughts about the existence of a “special” omnipotent person of the new era are found in the philosophical concept of transhumanism, aimed at improving the quality and prolonging the life span, as well as at preventing aging and death. The concept of transhumanism is considered not only as a philosophical concept, but also as a world organization. The ideas of transhumanism are embodied in texts dedicated to prolonging the life and preserving the youth of a person, including in Internet texts. With the wide spread of media in all spheres of life, the development of linguistics has reached a new stage – a new branch called media linguistics has been born. The object of the analysis of the new direction is one of the key concepts of media linguistics – an Internet blog, which is an Internet genre, which is a network space of a certain topic and contains relevant information content (texts, images, multimedia). The chosen model of blog analysis as an Internet genre highlights media, pragmatic, structural-semantic, and stylistic-language parameters. As part of the analysis of this work, the stylistic and linguistic features of the English-language blog “SkinTour” are: specific names of articles in the form of rhetorical questions, characteristic lexical units (medical procedures), the vocabulary used for nominating cosmetics themselves; acronyms, antonyms, the degree of comparison of adjectives. Material and methods. The material basis of the research was the author’s research corpus of texts of the Englishlanguage blog “SkinTour”, from which 50 authentic articles were selected. In the theoretical part of the study, the concepts of transhumanism, blogging and Internet genre are described; the analysis of the material base allowed to synthesize the obtained segments of scientific facts and knowledge accumulated by previous generations and contemporaries; the parameters of the analysis were systematized. In the practical part of the work, the lexical and grammatical content of the texts of the English-language transhumanist blog “SkinTour” is analyzed. The methodological basis of the work is a systematic approach, the following General scientific methods are implemented: analysis, synthesis, induction, generalization (methods of logic); quantitative methods, grouping method (methods of statistics); method of component analysis (methods of structural linguistics). Results and discussion. Due to the wide spread of media in a wide variety of areas of human activity, there is an increase in the number of products of the “network space”, one of which is the Internet blog (hereinafter: blog). The vast majority (about 90 %) analyzed English-speaking blogs tagged “Anti-aging” (more than 500) contains in the title the tag “Skin” and focused mainly on the female half of the population that seeks to care for problem skin. The English-language transhumanist blog “SkinTour” is also aimed at a female audience, containing thousands of articles from an expert in the field of medicine. In the process of analysis, media, pragmatic, structural-semantic and stylisticlanguage parameters of a blog as an Internet genre are highlighted. As part of the analysis of stylistic and language parameters, the content of the English-language transhumanist blog “SkinTour” is represented by the following features: lexical features: article titles in the form of rhetorical questions; frequent use of terms denoting medical procedures and cosmetics; acronyms; antonyms; grammatical features: the degree of comparison of adjectives. Conclusion. The English language of blogs is an original reflection of the modern virtual world. Due to the variety of language materials in the Internet space, medialinguistics is a large field for linguistic research. Heterogeneity of texts in the media sphere is the key to the diversity of analysis of transhumanistic blogs. The practice of studying texts of Internet genres should be carried out in order to fix new lexical, grammatical, stylistic and other features of the media repertoire of the English language. Relevance of the research is determined by the interest of modern translation science in search of effective ways of songs rendition, as animation films are getting the significant role as participants of modern crosscultural communication. Aim and objectives. The present paper attempts to discuss main functional, linguistic and structural aspects of song lyrics and analyze methods of their translation, as well as study applicability of these methods to song rendition in animation films. Materials and methods. The research is based on theoretical materials on audiovisual- and song translation, the exemplary texts taken from animation film “Mulan” (Walt Disney, 1998). Results and discussion Belonging to belles-lettres functional style, songs share with poetic texts their lexicosemantic and syntactic features, as well as rythmic and structural organization, which adds to their esthetic value. The specificity of songs in animation films is determined by their dependence on the plot and characters, both the form and the semantics of lyrics being equally important for their full-size foreign understanding. Subtitling and dubbing are the two methods of audiovisual translation, which fit the requirements of song rendition, with the latter as more preferable. Analyzing methods of modern song rendition and their applicability to the translation of songs in animation films, while having in mind certain limitations of both song- and audiovisual translation, we found out that the optimal option probably would be text adaptation, allowing to preserve the semantics and the melody as the two inseparable sides of the song unity. Conclusion. Lexico-semantic, syntactic, stylistic and structural peculiarities of song texts determine the features of their translation. From the whole list of translation options, the gentler one would be adaptation of the text to the original melody. 6066 | The focus of the article is on the question of the axiological stratum of the discourse picture of the world of entertaining radio. The paper considers axiological content of radio communication in the context of ethical problematics. Problematics of modeling of the world potential of mass media discourse is considered in view of the terms «discursive person» and «discursive cognition». Ethical issues are considered in the context of the model of speech behavior, which is characteristic of a discourse of radio. The article shows that the axiological content of the discourse (the discursive picture of the world) is the level of interaction between the author and the addressee. Entertaining genres of the radio «create» their addressee in the process of interactive communication, in which the system of rules of emancipation functions (maximum democratization of speech, violation of secrecy, violation of public morality). Addressee takes communication media for his own entertainment medium, that leads to reduced sense of orientation in the world. Interactive model of the cooperation of the author (presenter) and the addressee is typical for entertaining discourse, analytic discourse and information discourse of the radio. The interactivity is communicative and axiology is dominante idea of the radio broadcast and method of modeling of the «own» listener. The study of the issues of social and pedagogical support of students in the conditions of a modern university; the study of their expectations in this regard is because all students need such support. Students of pedagogical areas are especially in dire need, the majority of whom, as a rule, come from a family of teachers who themselves need strong social support from the state. The problem is compounded by the fact that in the Kyrgyz Republic issues of supporting pedagogy have not been studied both theoretically and practically. Material and methods. Based on the foregoing, the purpose of the article is to determine the essence and content of the socio-pedagogical support of students, to reflect their expectations in this regard and to determine further ways of implementing the considered aspect in the preparation of teaching staff. The study used theoretical and empirical methods (analysis of scientific and pedagogical literature on the topic, observation, survey, interviews, questionnaires, the study of documentation and experience in organizing students’ life at four universities of the Kyrgyz Republic). All these methods were used to study the state of the theory of socio-pedagogical support and the expectations of students in the conditions of a modern university. Results and discussion. Studying the problem of social and pedagogical support of students shows that modern students who study at the pedagogical faculties of universities of the Kyrgyz Republic need social and pedagogical support. 6073 | The general and distinctive characteristics of wind and atmospheric precipitation in linguistic worldview of representatives of the Selkup and Russian ethnic groups are revealed and described. Morphoepic and pragmatic concepts of wind are interconnected in the linguistic worldviews of both ethnoses. The most relevant characteristics of wind are its force and direction in the linguistic worldviews of both ethnoses. In the dialects of the Selkup and Russian languages intensity and duration of atmospheric precipitation are marked. Folk works and compatibility of the lexemes denoting wind indicate personification and sacralization of wind in both cultures. In nominations of wind its negative or positive influence on economic activity of people is also reflected. The number of general characteristics of rain, objectivized in dialects of the Selkup and Russian languages, includes intensity of this atmospheric precipitation. 6074 | The article presents the analysis of the initial stage of the formation of existential consciousness of Dostoyevsky. The family sphere finds orientation of parents of the writer to values of traditional family and patriarchal model of education. Orientation to traditional values in Dostoyevsky’ family is implemented at the level of the principles of interpersonal interaction (monogamy, possession of many children, respect and esteem for seniors) and priorities in upbringing of children (reliance on education and diligence, schooling to truth, decency, responsibility, love for the country and national culture). The research of the facts of Dostoyevsky’s childhood allows to allocate three interconnected directions of education of the valuable sphere of his daily and existential consciousness: emotional, semantic, religious. United in a single fundamental event by the fate of the writer, they serve as peculiar symptoms of awareness of the existence by Dostoyevsky the child, bound indissolubly to light and a word as in the ways of perceiving being and self-realization of oneself in it. Of particular importance in this process – in addition to family reading and lessons in the Law of God, pilgrimage trips to the Trinity-St. Sergius Lavra – is training in boarding schools, the first experience of Dostoevsky’s clash with the outside world, the shock of meeting with his own self, an independent attempt to realize “non-alibi in being” through the acquisition of the ability to speak on its own behalf. During this period reading becomes a way of formation of a semantic resource of his personality, a way of a seclusion and reflection in boarding house. Understanding of himself in life, procedurally mastered in the childhood, forms the the value-semantic sphere of daily and existential consciousness of Dostoyevsky and is implemented in text activity. Experience of own childhood as a moral guideline will become for the writer a criterion of differentiation “before” and “now”, “family” and “casual family” as different spiritual and moral ways of existence. Systematic destruction of the spiritual bases of family, neglect to the performance of parental and filial responsibilities, education of cynicism, indifference, denial leads to loss of sense of existence. Semantic capacity of the image of family and behavioural family tradition are the basis for formation of the image of the world in Dostoyevsky’s “Writer`s diary” and novels of the Great Pentateuch. 6075 | According to the article a general level of social life depends on the success of personal self-determination of young generation. The author underlines that successful personal self-determination of teenagers and youth is one of the major achievements on the way to professional self-realization, which forms a specialist in a field. In modern additional education it is necessary for children to study one or several adjacent directions during years of preparations. As a result the most successful children are good at several kinds of activity, however they are in dark of existing great number of others. At the same time the problem of seasonal crisis of personal self-determination of children, because of which searches of true occupation to liking can drag on for the long period, is frequent. According to V.A. Sukhomlinsky’s precepts children need periods for acquaintance with different types of activities, as a result personal and professional interests can be revealed. In our opinion creating conditions for children to experience a large number of activities, which they chose in institutions of additional education, solves that problem. According to the research, in the modern educational associations there is a practice of comprehensive programs, which involves not only the basic but also the additional direction of training and mutual training activities for the exchange of experience between collectives with related activities. However, in institutions of additional education there are not enough large-scale surveys which that can give students initial experience in many kinds of different activities, in the context of which the choice of the most interesting can be more conscious and obvious to children. From the author’s point of view, such methods as “open doors” promote personal self-determination only if they form the atmosphere of game in which children, teenagers and the youth are free to visit different clubs and elective courses with the feeling of an interesting adventure. In the article the author recommends to use game technologies in the format of “quest”; different directions help children find their field of interests. To sum it up, one may come to the conclusion that interaction of clubs and optional courses within the institution of additional education will allow to broaden the field for self-realization of students, that helps choose between the existing directions of training. However, in the article the author emphasizes that the choice of the directions by the children has to be voluntary, they should not have tests for a long period of time as among the variety of interesting kinds of activity children’s unripe nature can be in self-determination crisis. 6076 | Introduction. Education nowadays is aimed at the establishment and development of a highly intellectual and creative personality with significant professional potential. Achieving this goal requires high qualification of the teacher in the field of the disciplines taught and his mastery of modern methods of organizing educational interaction with students. Aim and objectives. The main aim of the research being done is to analyze the educational potential of the thematic club of the funny and resourceful under the name of «State: economic and geographical position, the properties of a territory, a type of economy» in forming professional competences of students studying in the direction of training Geography 05.03.02 and master students studying in accordance with the master program «Digital technologies in geography», the profile «Geography in general and professional education». Material and methods. This article uses the research data set produced by organizing and holding a thematic KVN at the Department of Geography of NR TSU in the period from 2013 to 2019. We used group discussion, heuristic conversation, brainstorming, practical works and other interactive teaching methods within the course «Social and economic geography» and as part of conducting a thematic KVN. A questioning of bachelors and masters students allowed to determine the educational potential of the event. Results and discussion. Several stages of the event are singled out. During the introductory stage the students are introduced to the theoretical material of the courses, do practical work and prepare for conducting the club of the funy and resourceful when they are given special tasks to fulfill. Holding a thematic KVN includes a presentation of scientific information on characteristics of a state and a project of setting up a company in the territory of the country concerned, which is done by each group of students. The stage also deals with the solution of some situational problems and a scientific, musical and theatrical performance. The final stage of the thematic club is concerned with the analysis of the results obtained where all the participants are offered to answer some questions of a reflexive character. Conclusion. The educational and advanced potential of the thematic club of the funny and resourceful is significant and they are expressed in forming professional competencies in bachelors and masters of the directions concerned. This potential is also characterized by the intensification of the process of acquiring, understanding and creative using of the knowledge obtained to solve practical problems; involvement of all the participants and their active interaction with each other to find solutions to problems; development of personal reflection and self-analysis skills in group work; motivation growth to study a discipline, and formation of a positive attitude to a professional activity. On the basis of the factors mentioned, we can say that a new qualitative level of professional education of master students is achieved. The latter will become geography teachers in the future and will be able to employ modern pedagogical techniques and methods to ensure the quality of an academic and educational process in various educational institutions which is one of the major factors of forming a new generation of teachers and instructors. 6080 | A rich owner of cattle as a social group of the traditional khakass society has ancient history. The antiquity of this class group is evidenced by a special lexicon in the Khakass language, which characterizes them according to social and property characteristics. They were not a new social category associated with commodity-money relations, they existed long before the XIX century. They become new tribal elite, after a significant part of the tribal aristocracy in the early XVIII century went to Dzungaria. In connection with the processes of administrative integration of the khakass people into the Russian Empire, rich owners of cattle occupy the posts of the lower apparatus of state power. They had great power over their people. In the XVIII century, especially in the XIX, there are socio-economic conditions for the broad formation of the social stratum of wealthy cattle owners. During the second half of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, the economy of the wealthy owner of cattle was evolving. The conditions that contributed to the development of the economy rich owner of cattle are analyzed. Factors that have made it possible to adapt to the economic and social realities of the Russian Empire and the new market economy are revealed. 6082 | The article presents the results of the experiment on the evaluation verbs appraise, evaluate, estimate and rate within the frame of their paradigmatic relations. Method of component analysis helps to determine the meaning elements of the given verbs. The research is conducted with the help of the native speakers. It is discovered that appraise and evaluate have integral semes and can be interchanged in the text, since both of them are the verbs of detailed estimation and professional estimation. Evaluate, therefore, is the most frequently used in the language and is the most neutral among the given verbs and can be called the dominant verb of the group. 6083 | Introduction. Nominations of the sides of the world are important elements of the category of space in the national language picture of the world. Linguists have long studied locative lexical units, examining their etymology, semantics, pragmatics and idiomatics, metaphorical transformations and linguocultural specificity in diachronic and synchronic aspects. However, the nominations of the sides of the world are rarely in the focus of attention. The aim of this article is to study and describe linguocultural specificity of the lexemes east, west, north, south in Chinese and Russian. Material and methods. The research was carried out due to its linguocultural character. It is based on the methods of observation, lexicographical, contextual and comparative analysis of the material, including Russian and Chinese lexicographical and literary resources. Results and discussion. Semantics, pragmatics, idiomatics and peculiarities of direction nominations metaphorization were studied in the linguocultural aspect. It was found out that in Russian and Chinese languages direction nominations have both universal archetypical and variable ethno-cultural features. A comparative analysis of the etymology and combinability of these units showed that they form a five-component semantic structure, including in addition to nominations of the east, west, south, north the nomination of the center as a point of reference for the speaker. Nominations of the sides of the world in both languages are represented in the paradigm of other meaningful and evaluatively opposed oppositions (for example, light - darkness) and occupy an important place in toponymy. It was found that complex words indicating intermediate directions in Chinese begin with the nominations east and west (for example, 东北 east-north), in Russian - with the nominations south and north (for example, north-west). These lexemes in direct and figurative meanings are part of the Chinese idioms and are often metaphorized in the national literature. In Russian idiomatics, they are present sporadically, and in literature they are not often metaphorized. Conclusion. Compared to the Russian language consciousness, the symbolism of the sides of the world is much more topical for the Chinese language consciousness. In Chinese mythology, literature and culture as a whole, the concept of the sides of the world is central. In the Chinese language they are connected with ideas about the gender and social structure of society, influence the forms of etiquette, the content of ceremonies, the national toponymy, the phraseological fund, etc. In Russian they have less evaluative and connotative potential, they are rarely metaphorized in folklore and idiomatics, in literature and in spoken language they are used as geographical landmarks in the system of spatial coordinates or directional markers. This type of discourse serves the communication of information, shapes people’s opinion on events and facts. 6086 | Introduction. Interest in the phenomenon of N. V. Gogol is now manifested both by the scientific community, as well as by playwrights and readers in Russia and abroad. In this regard, it is relevant to study the translations of Gogol’s works (and, in particular, the translations of the comedy “The Government Inspector”) into English, and especially to study such aspects of it as translation interpretation, which affects the reception of the work meaning by readers/spectators in a foreign cultural environment. Aim. The aim of this work is to identify the possible interpretation which N. V. Gogol’s play “The Government Inspector” received in the first English adapted translation carried out in America. Material and methods. The material of the study is N. V. Gogol’s comedy “The Government Inspector” and its adapted English translation made by Yale University professor Max Solomon Mandell in the early XX century. Translation is considered within the framework of the philological approach, which is mainly concerned with the study of reader’s reception. The possibility of studying from such a perspective is determined by the “double aesthetic code (literary and theatrical), which determines the ontological intermediality of the dramatic text”. In addition, the work uses a comparative method, contextual analysis, as well as content analysis of N. V. Gogol’s comedy “The Government Inspector”. Results and discussion. The translation undergoes formal and semantic transformations that reflect the cultural and social characteristics of America at the beginning of the XX century: the struggle between the “genteel tradition” and realism in the field of literature, the emerging critical attitude to the bourgeois way of life, and the partially preserved reliance on Puritan ideology. The message of the comedy is partially modified in accordance with United States inhabitants’ worldview, as well as due to the creators’ of the adaptation insufficient level of proficiency in the Russian language. The author’s narrative style is not preserved either. Conclusion. Thus, in the American context, N. V. Gogol’s comedy “The Government Inspector” acts as a mirror that reflects the situation in American society at the beginning of the XX century. For this reason, the translation can be considered as preserving the ambivalent understanding of the play implied by Gogol, which is connected both with the satirical and the spiritual meaning. However, this meaning is modified in accordance with the religious beliefs of United States inhabitants, as well as due to the insufficient level of the Russian language knowledge by the creators of the adaptation and their lack of full awareness of Gogol’s work specificity; this, in turn, affected the fact that some of the hidden meanings inherent in the text were not conveyed to the American reader/spectator. In general, the adapted translation is unable to convey the original author’s intention. However, despite this, it could undoubtedly have a chance for a positive reader and audience response: the transformations made did not deprive the play of the universal meanings implied by Gogol, which are relevant in almost any culture. 6088 | The present paper is devoted to a little-known XVI-century piece of linguistic writing – the comparative grammar of Italian and Spanish (“Il paragone della lingua toscana et castigliana”, “The comparison of Tuscan and Castilian languages”, 1560) by Giovanni Mario Alessandri, a Naples-born courtier. The grammar was meant both for the Spanish nobles eager to learn Italian and for the Italians who pursued a career at the Spanish court. In many ways “Il paragone” stands apart from the bulk of the Italian grammatical treatises of that epoch. Alessandri does not cite classic authors like Boccaccio or Petrarch to support theoretical points although it is on such XIV-century literary basis that the Italian language norm is based. The grammar contains a number of interesting comments of sociolinguistic nature, like those regarding social hierarchy and its impact on language use (the use of “Vostra Signoria”, for instance). It also gives an idea of how the ideology of Counter-Reformation could influence grammaticography in the Romance world (hence the frequent appeals to the authority of Catholic church – quite a queer feature for a grammatical treatise). G. M. Alessandri’s views on language have much in common with those of B. Castiglione, G. Trissino and other XVI-century Italian theorists of “courtly” language. The question of the development of theoretical thinking of the artist has always been at the center of scientific interests, since the effectiveness of the subsequent musical, performing and pedagogical activity of the graduate depends on his decision. The specificity of the theoretical thinking of the musician-performer is considered. On the one hand, it is closely related to the content and logic inherent in music by its author. On the other hand, it deciphers the author‘s intention, in order to intone it in sounds for listeners. Consequently, the theoretical thinking of the performer from the philosophical standpoint is revealed in the dialectic of artistic time and intonation. Further, the content of conceptprocesses is revealed: artistic time, intonation. The creation of artistic time and its intonation are two interrelated and at the same time independent types of artistic activity. From this unity and struggle, the energy of self-movement and self-expression of the performer is born, an artistic interpretation of the author‘s design is created. An algorithm for the theoretical thinking of the performer is considered. This is the process of the afterlife of the formation of the musical form as a whole formation, where the form is derived from the content as a concrete from the universal. The solution to the problem here can be career guidance work. Aim and objectives. The purpose of the article is to justify the expediency of conducting vocational guidance work by universities to assist applicants in choosing future professional activities on the example of Saint Petersburg University of State Fire Service of Emercom of Russia. Result and discussion. A number of experiments were carried out to assess the importance of vocational guidance at the Saint Petersburg University of State Fire Service of Emercom of Russia. The subject of the study was a contingent of bachelors, masters and the teaching staff of the faculty. The purpose of the experiments is to determine the appearance of a highly qualified graduate by means of a questionnaire. The statistics obtained were calculated using a special computer program. The article analyses vocational guidance work in the university: its relevance, importance, necessity for students. The analysis of studies carried out in three groups: bachelor, master and faculty to determine the appearance of the future specialist is given. An approach to its implementation in the final grades of schools, during the «Open Day» in classrooms, in the training center is shown. Vocational guidance work will allow to attract to Saint Petersburg University of State Fire Service of Emercom of Russia much more applicants in the specialty «Fire safety» and the direction of preparation «Technospheric safety», thus to raise the rating of the university, and applicants to make the right choice in determining the future profession. Conclusion. Authors consider that career guidance has to be one of the main tools allowing entrants to understand, comprehend, estimate the desires, opportunities, to compare them with requirements imposed to this specialty in higher education institution. The aim of the article is to clarify the concept of orientation, pedagogical orientation and cover its significance for the future Bachelor as the opportunity for successful self-determination in the educational process. 6094 | Introduction. Professional identity formation of the future specialist is one of the most relevant topics of the whole range of humanitarian studies. However, to date, there is a limited number of works that directly provide theoretically sound practical recommendations on the features of shaping professional identity. We believe that this process should be accompanied by serious linguistic studies, especially when it comes to the formation of a foreign-language professional identity of a teacher of foreign languages and cultures. Aim and objectives. The purpose of the work is to build the axiological conceptual sphere of the modern pedagogical discursive space and, subsequently, to identify the correlation dependence of linguistic-axiological manipulation and the process of forming the foreign-language professional identity of the future teacher. The main tasks of the study are forming the texts corpus; carrying out of pragmatic and content analysis of selected texts; identifying discursive and axiological components of fragments of pedagogical discourse to adequately construct the axiological sphere of discourse; determining the level of manipulative impact on the addressee by updating the identified elements of the axiological sphere of the studied discursive space; synthesizing the obtained data and determining the features of selfidentification of the teacher’s personality when they perceive value-loaded texts through the corresponding suggestive effect. Material and methods. The study was based on 15 written texts of pedagogical discourse compiled by professionals for English teachers and belonging to a specific structural part of the book – “Introduction”. A comprehensive method of data analysis is used, combining the method of discourse analysis, the method of conceptual analysis, the method of pragmalinguistic analysis, as well as the method of quantitative processing of the obtained data. Results and discussion. In connection with the multidimensional nature of the study, a detailed literary review is given, including the analysis of the topics of the teacher’s professional identity, the linguistic-axiological factor of the identity formation and the linguistic content of productive speech manipulation. A comprehensive pragma-axiological study revealed 5 basic axiological concepts that form the axiological conceptual sphere of the educational discourse under study: DEVELOPMENT, ENJOYMENT, NOVELTY, EFFECTIVENESS, READINESS, verbalization of each of which is a way of productive manipulation of the potential addressee’s consciousness. Manipulation is carried out at the expense of a certain functional range of lexical units-verbalizers of these concepts. The obtained results make it possible to build the axiological conceptual sphere of the considered pedagogical discursive space, as well as to identify the correlation dependence of the functional range of pragma-axiologically charged lexical units-verbalizers with manipulative effect on a potential addressee. Conclusion. Also, for further study of the presented topics, the hypothesis of cultural manipulation is put forward, according to which the axiological pedagogical guidelines available in the Anglo-Saxon tradition determine the model of behavior of teachers belonging to other cultural and ethnic substrates, but studying according to their methodology. Three structural cycles in economy of the developed countries are singled out during the period since the end 19th century till the present time. Modern interdisciplinary research proves the deep psychological motivation of a significant place of animated films in modern culture, and the noticeable displacement of book culture by visual images. Children from an early age begin to watch cartoons, which have a significant influence on the formation of their perception of the world, their vocabulary and thesaurus. They are among the precedent texts presented in the thesaurus of the modern linguistic personality. Aim and objectives. The aim of the research is to reveal the nominations of cartoon characters as a part of the intertextual thesaurus of the linguistic personality. Material and methods. The study of precedent phenomena associated with cartoons, suggests an address to a variety of texts with reproducibility of these language units, to results of associative experiments and to dictionaries. The main material of the article is the data of six associative dictionaries, which represent fragments of the verbal memory reflected in the consciousness of the “average” native speaker. In their totality, they allow to reconstruct a fragment of intertextual thesaurus of the Russian linguistic personality in its dynamics. The contextual analysis enables to confirm the place of precedent phenomena related to cartoons in the associative thesaurus of personality. Results and discussion. The analysis of associative dictionaries shows that the names of cartoon characters for children are not only a significant part of the child’s thesaurus, but also remain relevant in the adult thesaurus, and cartoons, based on literary, in the thesaurus of the modern linguistic personality are more important than the books themselves. The fact that cartoon characters are part of the intertextual thesaurus, which is widely used in speech, is evidenced by numerous examples from the National corpus of the Russian language and works of modern fiction. Conclusion. The data of associative experiments and numerous cases of reference to cartoons as sources of intertextual inclusions convince that the works of this genre of cinema remain in the memory of the linguistic personality for a long time. They give evidence for the fixedness of the names of the characters from the cartoons in the associative-verbal network. 6100 | Introduction. The article is devoted to the identification of ideas about men in women’s dialect discourse. Material and methods. The material of the research is women’s autobiographical stories recorded by the author in dialectological expeditions in 2016–2019; the Tomsk dialect corpus, which includes the materials of expeditions organized by employees of the Tomsk State University from 1946 till the present day on the territory of Middle Ob dialects spread. The research is carried out in cognitive-discursive direction of gender linguistics. Results and discussion. The basis for identifying gender ideas and stereotypes is linguistic opposition of “masculinity- femininity”, in which the personal qualities of men and women and the characteristics of their behavior are contrasted. It is determined that a man less thrifty, more prone to drunkenness than a woman. The contrast between women and men is based on the division of labor responsibilities. An important parameter for verbalization of gender ideas is the status in marriage. It is reflected in the frequency of using of lexical unit husband and in significant number of synonyms for this unit. As a rule, women’s stories s about themselves and their lives are accompanied by characterization of their husband and life in marriage. The most vivid ideas about a man are recorded during description of his personal qualities. Women more often evaluate a man based on his working capacity, economic efficiency, and social achievements. Attitude to a wife and love between a wife and a husband is important in description of husband’s characteristic. Drunkenness and aggressiveness of men are condemned. Such typically feminine qualities as loquacity, squabbling, and scandalous behavior, is negatively assessed for men. Conclusion. The content of ideas about men is influenced by the features of rural existence, which is based on work, patriarchal gender stereotypes, socio-historical events and processes.
