There are different options of the national language picture of the world, because the national language is heterogeneous. This variability is manifested in the texts of creative linguistic identity. This thesis is confirmed by numerous linguistic and literary studies of the creative work of the outstanding Russian writer of the XX century V. P. Astafiev. The writer had a great life experience and mastered several forms of the Russian national language: standardized literary language, common parlance, territorial and social dialects. Different variants of the Russian language picture of the world are associated with this forms. V. P. Astafiev showed life of Russia in his works, he used autobiographical principle of construction of literary text. For this reason the author’s individual language picture of the world that he presented in his texts includes elements of the different variants of the Russian language picture of the world.

The article considers the problem of games as a means of education and teaching technics. The first part refers to the concept of a game itself and different approaches are reviewed. Then the experience of preparing and holding a game with senior school pupils is described. Schoolchildren translated limericks from English into Russian and pointed out basic schemes of their own activity. Translations were presented and analyzed as derivatives of certain lines of approach to translation - word for word and sense for sense. The norm of translation activity was practiced.

The paper outlines the types of discourse-pragmatic functions and kinds of propositional-semantic content associated with the Loc-marked Agent constructions in Eastern Khanty. Selected methodology includes contrastive morpho-syntactic and contextual analysis of the narrative corpus, attending to the information structure and linguistic meta-data. Based on discourse analysis, it is hypothesized, that a wide cognitive faculty facilitating the structuring of information and specifying the roles of the participants, governs the choice of grammatical means, i.e. the construction types. It follows from the analysis of pragmatic, semantic and grammatical features of interacting discourse participants that specific system’s grammatical resources identify with certain pragmatic-semantic properties. The Loc-Agent constructions are prototypically used to express the events with more than one argument with competing topicality. The Loc-Agent constructions (agented passive and “ergative”) manifest a parenthetical shift in centrality of the discourse referents, where a secondary topic referent is competing with the primary agentive topic. The main method of treating schizophrenia is the use of antipsychotic medication. The aim of this study was to investigate the parameters of endogenous intoxication in the serum of patients with schizophrenia during the longterm antipsychotic therapy. We demonstrated a significant change in the spectrum of middle mass molecules in the blood serum in patients with drug-induced side effects (tardive dyskinesia), which was manifested in higher rates of toxic and nuclear fractions.

The influence of mechanical grinding in abrading and cutting mills on the structure of peats, their physical, chemical and structurally-mechanical properties has been investigated. It was shown, that lowland peat has a big stock of elements of a mineral food, than high-moor peat. The grinding of high-moor peat increases its bulk density and leads to insignificant increase in a moisture capacity of both types of peat. Besides, the change of sizes of peat particles, group composition and rheological properties of peats has been investigated.

The paper presents research of the frequent lexical items in early short stories by V. Nabokov. The study is based on defi ning the lexical-thematic groups in the texts. Having analysed the structure of the groups, the ratio of the more frequent lexical units to the less frequent ones and the correlation between the lexical items, we have made a number of conclusions which could facilitate understanding the author's artistic worldview.
