5205 | New possibilities of the method of sigma deviations allowing to study individual features of a person’s physical development are presented. Any person can easily get 23 anthropometric indicators, compare them with the arithmetic mean and the mean square deviation of this indicator, obtained for the corresponding age-and-sex group, and obtain an individual set of sigma deviations of all these indicators. Combining the obtained indices into certain groups, one can analyze the presence of different proportions in the human body (proportionality of bone length, bone thickness, proportion between upper and lower body parts, proportion of development of the thorax, for women - the proportion of development of the breast, the ratio of length of legs and height, the harmony of the development of muscles, the uniformity of fat deposition in the subcutaneous fatty tissue). At the next stage of the study, analyzing the individual set of sigma deviations, an individual comparison standard is selected for each person, with which all 23 indicators are compared. All indicators that differ from this standard by more than one are recognized as deviations from the individual standard. The observed deviations are conditionally subdivided into «advantages» and «shortcomings» of the physique. Knowing the magnitude of the conventional shortcomings (in cm and kg), it is possible to propose an individual program for correcting these deviations with the help of modern methods of metered exercise in order to create a harmonious physique Keywords: anthropometry, graph of the normal distribution, sigma deviation method, deviations and standards of physical development | 1084 | |||||

5213 | The article is devoted to studying the image of Polish diaspora of Siberia in modern Poland. The materials under study were publications in the monthly journal written in Russian “Новая Польша” (The New Poland) issued in Poland since 1999. The linguistic means creating the image considering the binary opposition “friend – foe” are being analyzed in this work. The analysis of periodicals has shown that in narrations about Poles in Siberia the exiled Poles are in the limelight. Their inclusion into “friends” by modern Polish society is observed. The vocabulary markers of two levels are met: group level (our) and personal (my). It was defined that among the properties allowing considering the exiled Poles as “friends” are as follows: birth in Poland, the status of exiled, i. e. forcible transfer to Siberia in XIX century or in the middle of ХХ, lack of mindset to integrate with the Siberian society, striving for good education. As the exiled Poles are considered being “friends”, their perception of Siberia as of the place for exile became one of the main components of historical perception of Poles and therefore the self-identification aspect. The information about modern Siberian Poles on the pages of “Новая Польша” newspaper looks more decent. However it is observed that while their description the vocabulary characterizing Siberian Poles with a definite degree of “foreignness” is often met. The Poland nominates are often observed when creating the image of modern Siberian Poles; however the rest context of the text makes them lose their value. Being born in Siberia and its perception as the motherland as well as loss of Polish language became the main factors of distance formation. Therefore, the application of binary opposition “friend – foe” showed the double nature of perception of Polish diaspora in Siberia by Polish society. Exiled Poles are felt closer and therefore defined as “friends”. Some kind of foreignness is seen in regards to modern Siberian Poles. 5214 | The problem of intellectuals is genetically related to the question of the social functions of scientific knowledge. An intellectual in the European tradition is regarded as a link connecting science and society, making the transition from concrete scientific knowledge to the general socio-political issues. In this context, the notion of an intellectual is determined not by the reference to his line of work, but through the social functions that he performs outside the scientific community. The main social function of an intellectual is social design, formulation of common social objectives. Modern intellectuals are facing a choice between the neoliberal social project and the collective social project, the question of whether individual freedom can be regarded as a universal social purpose. 5215 | The author of the article considers the issue of how to improve the preparedness of students of pedagogical higher educational institution to work as Music teachers. The current strategy of modernization of the Russian education system is based on the key traditional advantages of the national pedagogics. In the sphere of higher musical pedagogical education bachelor’s degree programs are updated taking into account new requirements of the Federal state educational standard of higher education in Pedagogics. Consequently, training students for their future work as Music teachers is based on practice oriented approach to teaching. An important part of the structure of musical pedagogical training of prospective bachelors in a pedagogical higher educational institution is music and instrumental training of students, with ensemble performance being one of its aspects. The research shows that too little attention is given to this aspect in teaching practice. It results in the students’ inefficient mastery of practical skills for ensemble performance. 5216 | The ways of expressing comparison in the works of Yuri Polyakov are considered. The authors define the morphological and syntactic features of similes and their functions in an artistic text. Similes, accomplished with the help of conjunctions as, like, as if, as well as the other means of connection are allocated. Among them are the special forms of nouns (genitive and instrumental case), other parts of speech (prepositions, adjectives, participles, adverbs). The most frequent in the works of Y. Polyakov are comparative constructions with such lexical means as a preposition as, an adverb like, an adjective similar to, a participle resembling, having likeness. The author’s favorite form of expression of comparison, as our observations show, is predicative units, representing different types of subordinate compound sentences. In the novel of Y. Polyakov, there are constructions with a comparison in the predicative center with a predicative-noun, which is the rarest in fictional texts. A specific way of expressing the phenomenon under consideration in the work of Y. Polyakov is a description of situations based on comparison. 5226 | Social and domestic background of the short novel “Stroybat” (Construction Battalion) today is archaic, but the problems of betrayal, the preservation of culture in a hostile environment, youthful irresponsibility remain up to date. The story representing retelling of events on behalf of the character, is richly intoned and intonation gives topical character to its main subjects. Sergey Kaledin builds his story at the intersection of many voice streams: through the detached comment of an “alien” character, combination of exalted and everyday speech, alien words, chronotop “cutins”, playing with the rhythm and text density. The art world of the story is actively sated with the cultural and paracultural signs which today have become part of “the Soviet myth”. In reader's perception they also don't contribute to dokumentalizm of “Stroybat”, and on the contrary, promote his perception as parables about the good and evil. 5231 | Introduction. English literary language is a historically heterogeneous structure, which includes various borrowed adstrata, more or less adapted by its system. Borrowings of Chinese origin as part of this recipient language have their own deep historical traditions and are the subject of this study. The synchronously functioning layer of borrowed Sinisms seems to be very heterogeneous in terms of assimilation, its levels and stages. Because the contacting languages – English and Chinese – are not related or even homologous, the process of assimilation by the system of elements of the Chinese adstratum is non-linear and has a number of characteristic features. This article is an attempt to fragment the process of assimilation/adaptation of Chinese borrowings in the system of English literary language by levels of assimilation and its stages. The aim of the paper is to distinguish the levels and stages of adaptation of borrowed lexical units of Chinese origin by the English literary system. Material and methods. As a general methodological foundation, a system-functional approach was used, which allows us to describe the functioning of a system or its individual part in the dynamics of linguistic evolution, an integral part of which is the phenomenon of borrowing. In the course of the study, a corpus of general and particular scientific (linguistic) methods was used, including: methods of logic (analysis, synthesis, deduction, comparison, generalization and modeling), statistics (grouping method, dialectic method), a comparative historical method with the step of internal reconstruction, component analysis method and the opposition method. Results and discussion. In linguistics, the terms “assimilation” and “adaptation” are traditionally contrasted: borrowings “assimilate” in the system of the recipient language, and the system itself adopts borrowed units. There are two approaches to the description of the process of assimilation/adaptation of these units: the first recognizes a borrowing adapted when it corresponds to the phonetic and grammatical appearance of the original words of the recipient language system. The second approach takes into account the influence of the lexical environment of the new foreign language unit. Thus, the approaches implicitly repeat the above opposition and differ in object-subjective position in relation to the borrowed unit and the system of the recipient language. Five three levels of assimilation of Chinese borrowings in the system of English literary language are distinguished: phonetic, morphological (grammatical) and spelling. The latter seems to be the most significant for the adapting Sinisms due to their highly heterogeneous graphic appearance. There are five stages in the adaptation of these units by the English literary language system: 1) the use of the unit in the form that it possesses in its donor language; 2) adaptation of borrowing to the laws to which the lexical means of the recipient language obey at the above levels; 3) loss by a unit of accompanying comments as applied to lemmatical corpuses of dictionaries and reference publications of the recipient language; 4) loss by borrowing of the previous stylistic differentiation; 5) consolidation of the borrowed lexical unit in the explanatory dictionary. Conclusion. The proposed stages and extrapolated approaches can find application in the practice of studying the Chinese adstratum in a number of other idioms that have historically been in contact with the Chinese language, as well as adstrata of a different origin in systems of unrelated languages. The empirical material of the study has high theoretical and practical value and can be used in reading university courses and teaching such disciplines as intercultural communication, history, lexicology, grammar and functional stylistics of the English language, contact and social linguistics, as well as in teaching the theory and practice of translation. 5242 | Introduction. The history of general and pedagogical education in Russia always attracts the interest of researchers, and this is connected with the modern processes of reform of the domestic educational system, they should be supported by historical experience. The purpose of this article is to reconstruct and generalize the experience of the State Duma of the Russian Empire in reforming pedagogical education. Material and methods. The material of the research is historical sources of various origins whose use makes it possible to form an objective view of the development of education in Russia and to re-evaluate the risks and genetic problems in the solution of modern problems of educational reform. General scientific and special historical methods of research are used. Results and discussion. With the establishment of the State Duma in Russian society, there were hopes for positive changes in the development of science and education. The State Duma of the first two convocations began a debate on education: The State Duma of the third convocation has done a great deal, and contemporaries praised its results in this area. Education was the subject of heated debate among deputies of different political factions. All deputies advocated the development of school business, the opening of teachers’ seminaries, institutes, courses, the raising of the status and salary of teachers, but disagreed on the forms and methods of achieving the goal. During the existence of the III Duma, several important normative documents concerning the development of pedagogical education have been adopted. Draft Regulations on Women’s Teachers’ Seminars, discussed over six months, were approved by both Houses of Parliament and approved on 1 July 1908. The Draft Regulations on Women’s Teachers’ Seminars were approved by both Houses of Parliament. As a temporary option for solving the personnel problems of primary schools until the opening of the required number of teacher training institutes and seminaries, on June 6, 1909, a decision was made and highly approved to open two-year pedagogical courses at city schools. One month later, on 10 July, a proposal for temporary teacher training courses for secondary school teachers was accepted. The next step in solving the personnel problem of secondary school was the draft law on “Rules on testing of female persons in knowledge of the course of higher educational establishments and on their acquisition of scientific degrees and titles of female teachers of gymnasiums” which was discussed by the Duma in January 1911 and approved on 25 February. Successfully passed in the Duma and the legislative act on “the establishment of one-year and short-term courses for the preparation of teachers and female teachers of secondary educational institutions”, which on March 29, 1911 was considered and already adopted on July 3. A special place among the projects developed by the commission on public education was occupied by proposals for the transformation of teachers ‘seminaries and teachers’ institutes, which should have had a positive effect on the cultural development of the country, but the bill was discussed for a long time, first in the Third Duma, then in the Fourth Duma, but did not find support. Work in the Fourth Duma on the reform of teacher education institutions was interrupted by the outbreak of world war. Conclusion. Thus, the desire of broad sectors of Russian society and, above all, of the educational community for effective educational activities was reflected in the work of the deputies of the State Duma at the beginning of the last century. The first two Dumas proved to be opposed to the Government and demonstrated the mutual inhospitability of society and the authorities to make concessions, which delayed decision-making even on such obvious issues as the fight against illiteracy. The results of the activities of the Third Duma were the most productive, however, due to the large number of discussions on private issues, the deputies did not have time to complete work on many important bills in the field of education. In the fourth Duma, even the draft laws that had already been drafted were first reviewed and, with the outbreak of the world war, forgotten or rejected, among the latter being the bills to reform the educational system. During the Soviet period, the basic provisions of the draft laws on teacher’s institutes and seminaries were reintroduced, but they were interpreted in the light of the principles of a unified labour school and the education of teachers of the new formation. 5243 | The influence of the proteins adsorbed on the red blood cells membranes on the bioimpedance spectroscopy (BIS) parameters of the erythrocyte suspensions was studied. The suspensions of the erythrocytes treated and untreated with trypsin were estimated. The BIS parameters: extracellular (Re) and intracellular (Ri) fluid resistance, characteristic frequency (Fchar), cell membranes capacitance (Cm) and Alpha parameter of the suspensions were measured on the BIA analyzer ABC-01 «Medass». It was found that Ri and Cm of the suspensions of treated erythrocyte were lower than that of the untreated one. So the proteins adsorbed on the membrane surface influence the BIS parameters. 5245 | The paper is devoted to the identification of the composition of structural fragments of humic acids (HA) extracted from the peat in the peat bog of Balanak. The alkyl elements predominate in the composition of HA, and the amount of oxygen-containing functional groups and phenolic fragments is reduced. The identified characteristics of the composition of HA are connected with the slow processes of peat formation in the North-Eastern Altai. It is shown that with the increase of the degree of the peat decomposition in humic acids the degree of aromaticity increases, and the amount of carbohydrate and alkyl fragments decreases.
