The hybrid Baker’s method together with the cor-relative functional by Lee, Young and Parr was used for constants calculation of the quadric field interaction of the compound sets of cooper, silver and gold. The results were compared with the data of microwave spectroscopy in the gas phase. The authors analyzed the quality of calculation with the use of pseudo-potential and widened basis conditions for cooper compounds. This article discusses the issues of verbal representation of the regular mechanisms of symbol creation involving flora and fauna concepts. The research was done on the material of New Zealand and Australian varieties of the English language. The definition was given to the terms sphere of national symbols and sphere of flora and fauna concepts. The relations between the sphere of national symbols and the sphere of flora and fauna concepts were identified as partial intersection. Native flora and fauna concepts became a wide and essential cognitive base on which national symbols of Australia and New Zealand had been created. In both Australian and New Zealand worldviews the spheres of national symbols and flora and fauna concepts excessively overlap. National symbols were created as a result of mental processing the concepts of native Australian and New Zealand flora and fauna. The names of symbols in New Zealand English are mainly from the Polynesian language of Maori, and in Australian English national symbols have predominantly English names. The choice and nomination of national symbols reflect the difference in general cultural scenario of the New Zealand and Australian societies.

The article points to idiostyle peculiarities of Z. Gippius poetic texts in the aspect of communicative stylistics trend – the regulative theory which studies lexical means of harmonization of reader and author’s creative dialogue. One of the ways of making reader’s cognitive activity efficient and one of the types of word-figurative text structuring is associative-figurative series. Its structure includes figurative and expressive means (regulative means) which make a reader pay attention to so called «main features» of text and assist reader in adequate text interpretation.

The different concepts of the connection between the social hierarchy and the language are viewed and analysed in the article. The given theoretical statements and the results of the reseach confirm the credibility of the concept of the ideological origin of the connection. The research of the changes of such an anthropo-centred category as “nationality” within the ideological technologies exemplifies the way how the language can be used by the political elite as a power means – a method for constructing or maintaining some social conventions towards the social groups.

The article discusses the problems that are connected with the revision of epistemological principals in the contemporary philosophy. Trends that form new concept of cognition: antysubstantionalism, antyfoundamentalism, pluralism are analysed. The article shows that non-classical approaches do not deny traditional epistemology but supplement it. The foundation of such interaction is communicative ontology. Communication is presented as united principle in modern conditions when reality becomes pluralistic and heterogeneous.

The contemporary approaches to the definition of “professional position of a teacher” concept are considered in the present article. The author reveals its essence according to the requirements of Federal governmental educational standards of higher pedagogical education for training sector 050100 “Pedagogical education”. The author describes the model of step-by-step development of the professional position during the period of studying at higher educational establishment by defining the cognitive, creative, action and reflexive components of “professional position”. The author characterizes potential opportunities of student’s contest of pedagogical skills in future teacher’s professional position development. In the present article the author examines the process of student’s step-by-step preparation to participation in this contest, the content of contest’s nominations in accordance with structural components of future teacher’s professional position. The contest of pedagogical skills is one of the components of educational system of Blagoveshchensk State Pedagogical University. This contest has been held at university for 15 years. Its results appear in stable professional position of young teachers – former contestants. The features of arrangement of education process in accordance with Russian education modernization are represented in this article.

Selivanova Irina Vladimirovna FELIPE VI’S CHRISTMAS MESSAGES: A PRAGMATIC ASPECT // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2020. Issue 2 (208). P. 61-67

Introduction. The article deals with the communicative strategies and tactics of linguistic manipulation used in the six Christmas messages issued by the Spanish King Felipe VI from 2014 to 2019. Material and methods. The analysis of Felipe VI’s Christmas messages, published on the official website of the Royal House, was based on general scientific methods (description, observation, generalization, and systematization) as well as linguistic analysis methods (linguistic interpretation, content analysis, discursive analysis). Results and discussion. This article describes some features of Felipe VI’s Christmas messages (from 2014 to 2019), taking into account the current political situation of Spain. These texts are considered a ritual genre of institutional discourse and are analyzed in the context of political rhetoric. The paper is aimed to highlight how the messages are used with an ideological purpose to strengthen the image of the monarchy and to convince people of the necessity for peaceful coexistence, respect for the law, and national pride. The article also focuses on the images of the past, the present, the addressee (Spanish society) and the country. The scientific value of this paper is in describing the most popular communicative strategies and tactics of linguistic manipulation used by the Spanish King. Conclusion. The monarch’s Christmas messages can be considered a typical example of ceremonial eloquence in which the Head of State acts as a significant public figure, not only interpreting facts and events in order to preserve the unity of the nation and stability of the country, but also discussing moral issues based on universal values. It was revealed that Felipe VI tends to use a set of communicative strategies and tactics in order to underline the importance of peaceful coexistence in Spain and to emphasize his role as the only guarantor of stability, unity, prosperity and social justice.
