Federyakin Aleksandr Jurevich CONVENTION AS A LITERARY DEVICE IN ILYA EHRENBURG’S CYCLE “CONVENTIONAL SUFFERINGS OF CAFЙ’S HABITUE” // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2014. Issue 11 (152). P. 55-59

The article presents a short review of underexplored part of Ehrenburg’s artistic heritage – literary cycle “Conventional Sufferings of Cafй’s Habitue” – in connection with the phenomenon of the convention stated in the title of the cycle. The place of the reviewed cycle is accounted in the works of Ilya Ehrenburg in 20s of the XX century. The paper analyses ideological and thematic content of the text, its aesthetic and genre nature. The article deduces relation between convention as a literary device in the cycle and other arts that was Ehrenburg’s subject of attention. Convention as a literary device is compared with a line of cinematographic acceptances, what gives a whole cycle combination of essay and novella types of writing. Chosen locuses allow the usage of a round-up technique, which gives a panoramic view of reality to the cycle.

Some time ago the authors proposed a new approach to self-dual electrodynamics and its superextensions, based on introducing auxiliary (super)fields which ensure linearization of the duality transformations. In the talk this universal method is applied for analysis of the self-duality properties of the N = 2 Born-Infeld (BI) action with the nonlinearly realized “hidden” N = 4 supersymmetry. Its self-duality is proved up to the 10th order in the superfield strengths. The conjecture about the general structure of the N = 2 BI action modified by the auxiliary chiral superfields is put forward.

The article provides an analysis of doctrines of Catharian and Waldensian heretical movements, wide-spread in France and Germany in XII – beginning of XIV cc., in order to show how it reflected special features of burgher mentality, which were formed in conditions of urban life and caused burgher disapproval of the Catholic Church and their involvement into heretical movements. Involvement into heretical movements gave burghers possibility to provide a religious basis for their transformed way of life. An important instrument of the increase of bank activity efficiency is its logistization. In the article we suggest the logistic model, where a bank is considered as a micro-logistic system and bank activity is considered as a set of different flows of useful resources (a material flow (vec_M); a financial flow (vec_F); an informational flow (vec_I); an energetic flow (vec_E); a flow of transport vehicles (vec_T); a manpower flow (vec_W); a service flow (vec_U); a flow of innovations (vec_N)), which interact, influence each other, depend upon the present market conditions and evolve, corresponding to the changes of inner and outer conditions. In the article, we do the research of these flows’ structure, using the logistical approach. In the research we represent a flow as a certain function, having two components: the scalar one (P0 – a concrete kind of useful resources) and the vector one (vec_P0 (t, z) – the orientation of the flow in space and time). Thus, a flow is: vec_P = P0*vec_P0 (t, z) v r . A special attention is paid to the financial flow, its structure and process of forming. We represent, that the necessary condition of forming any kind of a flow is presence of other flows. Then, in order to provide a normal functioning of the cash flow in a bank we need the following vector components, which could assure its forming and circulation: financial, informational, energetic, manpower (personnel), innovational and service components. The mathematical expressions are worked out to describe this process and to give us the opportunity to define the source of costs and to optimize the cumulative expenses in order to minimize them.

Introduction. The study focuses on news discourse and on its persuasive dimension in particular. News discourse has a number of standard strategies to promote the persuasive process for assertions. If propositions are to be accepted as true or plausible, there must be special means to enhance their appearance of truth and plausibility. Material and methods. The theoretical perspective of the paper is the critical epistemic discourse analysis proposed by T. A. van Dijk. The paper considers mental representation of the event nominated in British and American mass media as RUSSIAN SPY POISONING. Results and discussion. The study highlights the evasion strategy as a form of discourse-based mental influence in news discourse. From a pragmatic approach evasion is viewed as violation of one of the conversational maxims formulated by P. Grice which requires contributions to conversations to be truthful. The author claims that the aim of the evasion strategy in representing news is to discursively emphasize those properties of mental models that are consistent with the interests of the dominant social groups and discursively deemphasize those properties that are inconsistent with their interests. Consequently, evasion strategy results in partial, incomplete or biased understanding of the news story in the interests of a dominant social group. Evasion presupposes formulation of meanings in such a way that they are not merely understood but also accepted as the truth or at least as a possible truth. The article discusses strategic devices of evasion like hedging, referential vagueness, focus shift, selective use of evidential and epistemic markers, half truth. Conclusion. The author comes to the conclusion that evasion strategy contributes to the formation or reactivation of preferred mental models and may thus be used in manipulative discourse use.

Expansion of professional communication, business talks with foreign partners, work with the technical documentation in a foreign language, the importance of the traineeships abroad require more use of foreign language in the training of future engineers. Therefore, the subject “Foreign Language” has a special place, because it should provide not only the language itself, but the country’s culture and language, and by comparison it may overshadow the peculiarities of national culture and acquaint with universal values. In other words, foreign language should contribute to the education of students enrolled in non-language majors, in the context of intercultural dialogue. This, in its turn requires knowledge of norms and traditions of communication of people-native speakers, that is all that is meant by communication behavior as part of the national culture. Knowledge of the rules and traditions of communication allows the participants of the speech act, belonging to different national cultures, adequately perceive and understand each other, which contributes to intercultural communication.

The article discusses a topical problem of child abuse in the family. The author identifies two approaches to the definition of the concept on the basis of theoretical analysis. A representative of the first approach uses external evaluation criteria of child abuse. This concept can be identified with some forms of violence and cruelty. A representative of the second approach uses criteria reflecting the intrinsic characteristics of the phenomenon. They concretize the psychological content of the concept. The author uses a value approach to the definition of child abuse in the family. The author defines child abuse in the family as a violation (reduction) of the parent of the valuable relation to the child as an individual.

This article refers to the analysis of precedence as a means of naming and characteristic of a special anthroponym group, the names of writers, in German newspaper and magazine texts. During the study there were found several models that include precedent names (both proper and generic names). These models are being described according to their structure and semantics. The phenomenon of precedence is being analyzed in relation to the newspaper functional style with its special aims and goals. Precedent names are being studied in connection to the source and level of precedence. Functions of using precedent names for naming famous writers are also being discussed in this article.

The object of research in this article is the means of self-presentation of the artist’s professional language personality. Professional language personality is a complex of linguistic competences which permits the effective operating with professional sub-discourses «in different situations of professional-communicative interaction» (S. V. Myskin). The material of research is interviews of different years with Rada Anchevskaya – a leader of the rock-group «Rada & Ternovnik». Rada Anchevskaya positions herself as a musical «shaman», likens a concert to a ritual, trance and likens a stage to a sacral place. In her opinion music has mystical and timeless origin. Ideally, musicians do not compose but perceive it if they have enough delicacy of feelings. Music animates the word in a song. Particularity of self-presentation of Rada Anchevskaya’s professional language personality is in plenty of factual information (names of musical instruments, albums and songs of the group «Rada & Ternovnik»; denominations of musical equipment, styles and genres; surnames of musicians, specialists in mythology, philosophy, titles of the books on different themes, names of folklore and mythological characters etc.) and in frequent use of tropes and stylistic figures (mainly the metaphors). It shows great erudition of the artist, seriousness and profundity of her works and figurative nature of her language picture of the world. This research is interesting for linguopersonology and communicative stylistics of text.

Reconstructing the experience of using the capacity of some trial-search actions (Karl Popper Debate, joint activity forms: authoritarian, leadership, affiliate) has been proposed for the formation of students’ personal, communicative, regulative and cognitive universal educational actions. A database of the experimental study is the preparation of final grade students for final examination in the format of the Unified state exam in literature. It is suggested that each stage of the educational project (preparatory, theoretical, modeling, and presentational) requires relevant methodological and pedagogical support. The outcome of the project implementation is the development of the students’ subjectivity. This is possible due to the teacher taking an ambivalent position at various stages of the debate: remaining the organizer of the activities he or she can be authoritarian, partner or leader, depending on the nature of the project participants’ initiative. Each of the designated positions is realized in the relevant pedagogical actions, those of «informer», «coordinator», «editor» or «analyst». The development of the project is due to the changing nature of students’ semantic activity. The development and formation of the universal educational actions act as indicators of the project participants’ success. As a whole, the content of the activities organized by the teacher in the transition to new educational standards is discussed in this paper as educational designing within the innovative format. The main feature of this format is the phenomenon of the teacher’s «personal presence» in the design and organization of the educational reality which is created for the attainment of his or her professional goals. The presented project is understood as a way of educational technology introduced in the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard of Secondary (complete) General Education.

Introduction. A comparative study of the theory and practice of education in Finland is due to the natural interest of researchers in the experience of countries that hold leading positions in international educational monitoring, where the Finnish system shows consistently high results. The focus of the analysis is education implemented in rural areas, the features of the activity of a rural school, the specifics of the professional activity of a rural teacher. Materials and methods. The material for the analysis was the research of Finnish scientists and specialists in the field of education, the experience of international Russian-Finnish educational projects. Results and discussion. The theory and practice of the development of education in Finland is of interest for Russian scientists and practitioners, and for researchers of the Republic of Karelia, especially, since the similarity of both territories in terms of geographical, natural-climatic, ethnocultural, demographic and other indicators is obvious. In both territories, rural schools represent a significant part of the general education system. Conclusion. Analysis of the works of Finnish and Russian scientists made it possible to: fix the coincidence of the positions of researchers regarding the peculiarities of the rural school and the specifics of the work of a rural teacher, the relevance of the socio-cultural approach to the modernization of education in rural areas, as well as the need for targeted training and support for the professional formation and development of a rural teacher in the paradigm of lifelong education ; to identify common approaches to substantiating such ways of preserving and developing a small school such as creating a socio-cultural center, transforming a school into a service center for a rural settlement (according to E. Korpinen).

On the basis of presented universal developed physics and mathematical model of internal chamber proc-esses a number of numerical researches concerning the analysis of particularities of the large - sized rocket motor transition to the steady - state regime was carried out. A number of significant SRM problems (such as optimization of large rocket motors start-up; gas dynamics of filling and ignition of elastic stagnation zones; ignition pressure transient in solid rockets initially filled with water and modeling of rocket motors packet transitions to the steady - state regime) were solved. The renormalization of general gauge theories curved space-time backgrounds is considered within the Sp(2)-covariant quantization method. It is proven that gauge invariant and diffeomorphism invariant renormalizability to all orders in the loop expansion and the extended BRST symmetry after renormalization is preserved.
