| 4801 | The article concentrates on the research of the processes of metaphorical term formation in Chinese on the basis of the terminology system of the oil and gas industry. There is the opposition method of spheres-sources of metaphorical modeling when analysing the processes of metaphorical term formation, method of frame structure analysis, method of continuous sampling, quantitative analysis and also method of linguocognitive modeling. | 4814 | Introduction. The article discusses the figurative representations of the concepts of the heavenly bodies in the text and the artistic picture of the world of M. Bulgakov’s novel The Master and Margarita. The elements of the lexical structure of the text are analyzed, representing the images of the sun, the moon and the star, in terms of their linguistic semantics and cultural connotations associated with the mythopoetic symbolism of these space objects, as well as in the aspect of their participation in the expression of the author’s picture of the world. The purpose of the work is to explore the ways of representing the concepts of heavenly bodies (the sun, the moon and the stars) in the text of the novel The Master and Margarita, to identify aspects of their metaphorical and symbolic interpretation on the verbal and conceptual levels, to study the role of these concepts in the artistic picture of the world of the novel. Material and methods. The methodology of the work is based on cognitive, linguistic-cultural and system-structural approaches to the study of the imagery of language and artistic speech, used in the field of semantics of language units and text stylistics. The empirical material is represented by figurative words and expressions (200 units) representing the concepts of the Sun, the Moon, and the Star in M. Bulgakov’s novel The Master and Margarita, as well as fragments of text demonstrating their metaphorical functioning (850 contexts). As the sources for determining linguistic meanings and mythopoetic symbolism served the explanatory and encyclopedic dictionaries. Results and discussion. The lexical and textual fund of artistic representations of the concepts “Sun”, “Moon”, “Star” in the novel The Master and Margarita by M. Bulgakov is defined; methods and techniques of their textual implementation are revealed. The cultural and symbolic meanings of the concepts of the heavenly bodies, represented in the folk mythology of different cultures, are studied. The aspects of the metaphorical and symbolic interpretation of these concepts in the artistic picture of the world of the novel “The Master and Margarita”, as well as their role in the expression of the author’s intention, are described. Conclusion. The artistic model of the world in the novel The Master and Margarita represents a complex and multidimensional system of concepts, which in many respects comes close to folk mythology and religious cosmology. | 4826 | The topicality of this research is determined by anthropocentrism of modern humanities knowledge, compliance with the new cognitive-discursive paradigm, insufficient knowledge on poetic worldview of O. E. Mandelstam in the course of his creativity. Conceptual analysis makes it possible to make out subtle details in the author’s works that have not been studied before. Also, the analysis allows us to describe peculiarities of the poet’s perception of the world in this or that period of his work; to reveal features and means of representation of the key concepts in his poetic worldview. The aim of the article is to examine one of the key concepts of the works of O. E. Mandelstam – the concept “music”. Based upon M. L. Gasparov’s periodization of the poet’s creative work, the poetic texts of the early period of the author’s creative work (collection “The Stone” (1913)) are analysed. The choice of this concept is determined by its significance and a major role in the poet’s life. Results. As a result of the conducted research it was revealed that verbalization of the concept of “music” in Mandelstam’s early creative work has an individual author’s character. This statement has been proved thanks to the following procedures: – comparison of the usual meaning of the lexeme “music” that is shown in dictionaries (definition and associative ones) with that of the author. As a result, it has been revealed that there is a broadening of the basic, usual meaning in the author’s worldview by means of building-up of new senses (music not only has the sound incarnation; the absence of sound or silence is also a kind of music that can only be heard by a person with a special mindset); – highlighting several directions of associating (music – silence – sleep; music – the fundamental principle; music – hope for salvation) and their detailed analysis based on the most typical poems of the early period Mandelstam’s creative work and included in the poet’s first collection of works “The Stone”. – the analysis of the lexical structure of the author’s poetic texts in which the concept is reflected (highlighting of the main means of representation of the concept “music” and the text paradigms that are part of the association area of the analysed unit of the author’s sphere of concepts). Conclusion. The conducted research is significant in terms of concretization of the author’s individual style and his poetic worldview. The reason for this was the conversion in the early sixties the provincial statistical committee, which until that time was held with the governor’s office. Since that time, the statistics committee became an independent institution, which attracted intellectuals to work in the province, as every more or less educated person was invited as a member of this committee. Ufa Provincial Statistical Committee was created in May 1865 on the basis of Orenburg Provincial Statistical Committee. As mentioned above, in the organization of the Committee actively participated along with government officials a number of local historians: R. G. Ignatiev, V.S. and M. V. Lossievskiye, G. S. Rybakov, V. L. Olszewski, V. A. Novikov, P. I. Dobrotvorsky, A. A. Packer, A. B. Ivanitskii and many others. The biggest contribution was made to the organization of its activities by the member of the secretary N. A. Gurvich. Under his leadership, was held a lot of work, which contributed to the development of statistical work in Ufa province. This article considers organization of the activities of Provincial Statistical Committee of Ufa Province during the second half of the 19th century, which has made a definite contribution to the account of the population, real and personal property, which in turn influenced the strengthening of the economy of the region and definition of strategy for government social and economic development of the region.
