Zhilicheva Galina Aleksandrovna THE METAPHOR IN THE NARRATIVE STRUCTURE (BASED ON B. PASTERNAK'S NOVEL DOCTOR ZHIVAGO) // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2014. Issue 11 (152). P. 83-88

This article is devoted to the analysis of functions of metaphors in the structure of a narrative. Modern understanding of such concepts as discourse metaphor and metaphorical subtexts are being described. A hypotheses that the metaphorical fields play the integrating role being the bridge between referent and communical sides of the narrative is being suggested. The analysis of the ways of metaphorical indexation of a narrative strategy is based on B. Pasternak's novel Doctor Zhivago. Narrative strategy is regarded as a kind of interaction between the subject, object and adressee of discourse. B. Pasternak's novel implements the strategy of 'revelation' bearing such important characteristics as narrator being an impersonal one, the story being a 'quest for the sence', convergent position of a reader being programmed. This communication model is expressed not only at the levels of plot events and themes, but also by using specific metaphorical fields. This article deals with the particular subtext of 'cover and revelation' which is represented in the text of the novel by images of fabric, threads, sewing, knitting that can be found in descriptions of many different plot events and characters. Conclusion is drawn that the narration in the novel is a 'cover' for poetry and, contrawise, Zhivago's poems depend of the narrative events.

Three-dimensional acceleration in general relativity can be defined so that spinless particle in the process of evolution in an external gravitational field can not exceed the speed of light. We ask what happens if a spinless particle is replaced by test-particle with spin one-half. Inclusion of spin-gravitational interaction gives generalized Papapetrou equations with modified metric along the world-line. The modified metric should be used to calculate the acceleration of spinning particles. Inclusion of spin-electromagnetic interaction in flat space gives generalized Frenkel equations, where an effective metric along world-line arises for the particle with anomalous magnetic moment. This implies that intervals of time (and distance) probed by such particle in the presence of electromagnetic field slightly differ from those in empty space.

Consideration is given to develop the professional competencies of the bachelors through the informal interaction on the basis of a public organization with a professional focus. In particular the subject to study was “The club of public firefighters, rescue workers and volunteers” which currently includes 78 students and 5 teachers. The practice activity of a student club, organized in 2012 year by the Yurga Institute of Technology (Tomsk Polytechnic University Affiliate), shows the stages of its formation and relations with University and with a municipality, detects the conditions of the student’s developing competencies and the student’s socialization. Here the integration is achieved by institutional and non-formal education, to create a field activity of students to improve their competencies and practices when developing future profession. Thus the informal activity of students enriches the academic learning. In addition, for teaching staff the club has become a testing ground for educational innovations.

The research contains an immanent analysis of the lyrical microcycle of the late period of work by Mandelshtam “I got lost in the sky – what shall I do?”. The creative world of the diptych is analysed by the authors of the article in dynamic aspect, in connection with the stages of the development of the lyrical plot of search of the true way. Special attention is given to not only poetics (figurative language, prosody aspects), but also to interpretations of intrinsic antinomies reflecting world outlook dominants (sky – earth, life – death, eternal – present and others). Besides, the literary allusions playing an important meaning-forming role in the poems by Mandelshtam are revealed. As a literary pre-text “The Divine Comedy” by Dante Alighieri is considered. As a result of a consecutive comparison of the basic images, verse features and logic of expansion of the plot, the main principle of cyclization – modulation of the meanings within the limits of the key topic is found. A similar creative move reflects the uncertainty of reflexions and moods of the poet caused by complex life circumstances. The lyrical hero has an aspiration to renounce “down-to-earth” problems, to find the true way. Familiarizing with eternal art, service to the people becomes the result of this way. The article is addressed to all interested in Russian poetry of the Silver age, in particular in works by Osip Mandelshtam as well as to the experts-philologists, concerned with poetics of a lyrical text.

In the paper various interpretations and functioning of the pedagogical concepts competence and competency are considered. The article discusses the creation of e-learning courses. Using data based on personal, national and international experience, the author shows that the creation of digital resources is an important stage of e-learning formats promotion in educational practice of educational institutions. Proposed algorithm for creating e-learning course includes five stages: the selection or creation of educational content for its presentation in electronic form; definition of e-learning course model and its central figure according to didactic and methodological principles of e-learning; choice of tools used to create the digital content; choice of course management system or any other platform for remote placement of content and development of a new type of interaction. It is noted that taking into account the specifics of creating electronic training courses significantly reduces the effort required to develop them, allowing you to achieve uniformity of training courses alongside with maintaining the individuality of the teacher and the specifics of the subject.

Funtova Irina Leonidovna INNOVATIONS IN THE INTONATION OF THE MODERN RUSSIAN LITERARY LANGUAGE // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2017. Issue 7 (184). P. 17-24

The article deals with the intonation of emphatic (highly emotional) speech of the modern Russian literary language with the purpose of revealing innovations in the intonation. The research is carried out on the performances staged in the State Academic Maly Theatre. We have analyzed 15 hours of sounding speech which allowed us to discover all the variety of the intonation patterns in the modern Russian language. As a result of the carried out research, we have revealed the following changes in the intonation of the modern Russian language: a great number of the occurrence of the mid-level ending in final sense-groups and the use of the high-narrow rise at the end of declarative and exclamatory sentences. We give a detailed consideration to the occurrence and meanings of these intonation endings combined with various scales. In addition to that, we first observe the use of the fall-rise in emphatic speech of the modern Russian language, as well as the use of the gradually ascending stepping scale, the descending scandent and sliding scales. Thus, the present research shows that the intonation of emphatic speech of the modern Russian language is much more colourful than it has been described before. The obtained results make a contribution to the suprasegmental phonetics and can be applied by the Russian teachers in practice, and they can also be of great use for foreign students learning the Russian intonation.

Сareful study of the rich experience of the Russian and Soviet higher schools is required in modern conditions of reforming the Russian educational system. Such a study will allow to take into account the mistakes of the past and to find the roots of modern problems, and also to formulate the most optimal ways of the current modernization. The need to study the dynamics of the development of the Soviet higher school is due to the scientific and historical relevance of the topic. Analysis of statistical data, archival records management showed that the development of higher education in the USSR in the 1970s and 1980s was ambiguous and contradictory. On the one hand, during this period there is an increase in the quantitative indicators of the output of specialists, the number of higher education institutions is increasing and the number of specialties is expanding. On the other hand, the system of higher education was subordinated to the needs and opportunities of the state planned economy. The state purposefully expanded the training of personnel for the extensive development of production. The growth in the number of specialists with higher education was achieved due to an increase in admission to correspondence and evening departments. Decrease in the financing of education by the end of the 1980s. gradually led to the obsolescence of the material and technical base of universities, to a decrease in prestige, both university professors and graduates who did not find a decent job in their specialty. All this deformed the system of higher education and adversely affected the development of the Soviet state and society.

The article provides practical examples of using an interdisciplinary approach to solving typical tasks in biology and new algorithmic approaches to determining the kinetic parameters of simple reactions in chemistry. It examines the appropriate methods to use the most common MS Excel toolkit to obtain more exact solutions of the considered tasks for the extended type values of the type of mathematical models of the desired parameters. Presents the teaching methods and practical examples of solving problems in the field of biology and chemistry which were implemented in the framework of an interdisciplinary approach, as well as their study of mathematics and computer science. The importance of interdisciplinary study with mathematical modeling of the processes that predict a change of state in biological and chemical systems is shown. These considerations contribute to the enhancement of knowledge and research, including when solving the problems by replacing numerical data with mathematical expressions. At the same time, problem analysis, solution methods, adequate assessment, visualization and interpretation of results are required. The presented practical approach effectively contributes to the implementation of the educational standard with the formation of graduates’ competencies, focused on the willingness to independently solve the research problems and self-development throughout the life.

The technology of diagnostic solutions constructing in weakly structural problem fields is proposed. This technology includes synthesis of derived diagnostic solutions metastructure. Tuchkova Natalya Anatolyevna FOLKLORE STORIES OF ITYA IN THE ARCHIVE OF A. I. KUZMINA // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2013. Issue 2 (130). P. 205-208

The analysis is based upon the archive of the folklore data collected by a linguist A. I. Kuzmina in the 1960s. The database includes 17 texts, which present the folklore stories of Itya widespread among the Selkups. The majority of these narratives with participation of this hero recorded by A. I. Kuzmina are previously unpublished. Their publication will dramatically extend the empirical base for the folklore and ethnohistorical studies. The plot of the stories is common to all Selkup groups. The data of A. I. Kuzmina supplement the folklore plots of the Middle Ob dialectal area (Ivankino, Tibinak, Konerovo).
