The article deals with actual question for communicative-discoursive direction in Russian philology about the specifics of the author’s television discourse in the modern system of mass communication. In view of the collective nature of television creativity the difficulty of defining the discursive boundaries of individual-author’s manifestations in television programs is substantiated. Author television programs, which represent particular interest in terms of communicative and pragmatic research, are defined as discursive practice, in which individual media discourse is organized by the author-presenter of the program as a reflection of his idiostyle. Reveals the following formal features of author television programs: 1) author of the program is its presenter; 2) “author” status is declared in the title of the program or in the definition of its genre / format; 3) the presenter of the program is self-positioned as its author; 4) the name of presenter is used as the name of the program.

The article deals with the phenomenon of communication as a manifestation of complexity of interacting creatures. Communication is considered not as a privilege of a human being; it is shown that it is in the root of the world of living nature, it has evolutionary origins. The communicative complexity is exposed by such concepts as flexibility, constructing, intersubjectivity, participatory sense-making, empathy, synergy, mutual incorporation and co-emergence of creatures, which enter the process of communication. The concept of the Baku text, phenomenon of Russian linguistic culture at the crossroads of cultures, created by esthetic judgment of the image of oil is described in the article. It is proved on the material of “The Baku verses” by S. Yesenin and V. Mayakovsky that the social paradigm of the embodiment of concept oil in the Baku text develops towards these or those forms of the new religiousness and the statement of the absolute human will. The development of this line of interpretation of the concept in Russian poetic discourse is caused as a whole by unique social and historical circumstances in which Baku cultural topos was formed in the first half of the 20th century.

The tendency to linguistic economy resulted in the enormous amount of abbreviations. Their number is increasingly growing in medical science. Being short and capacious these lexical units are hard to be perceived and translated. Professional translation is early sought in all fields. But it’s the most urgent in medicine for it must be based on the accuracy of information, accuracy and competence of professional operations as well as the feeling of high responsibility of each professional in a definite field of practical science.Thus a demand for the study, regulation and adequate translation of abbreviated terms has aroused. It contributes to the professional medical communication. This article is devoted to the study of acronyms and homoacronyms used in current medical literature. The study is done in the line of nominative and cognitive investigation. The method of continuous sampling of medical acronyms and homoacronyms from medical scientific articles and dictionaries as well as the method of structural, typological and semantic analysis. As a result of English periodical medical publications and specialized dictionaries review the authors have identified several categories of acronyms and homoacronyms. The article presents an original classification of these lexical units and reviews the means of their translation. Performed typological analysis allows to single out eleven categories of medical acronyms and homoacronyms. The largest groups consist of the abbreviations which include names of anatomical structures, symptoms and syndromes.

In the article the author gives the concept of personification considerations of Russian history by academician A.D. Sakharov. The article is written on materials of the A.D. Sakharov’s Public archive. It is interesting that the author considers that the KGB and the CC of CPSU recognized the society right to opposition judgments of events occurring in the country as it would be a mistake to think, that this thinking might seriously threaten the political formation of the country. The political opponent of the Soviet government was close to the public opinion in the country. Otherwise these people would not have had the prestige of “the ideological opponent” of bureaucracy.

The edition of 2005 year is the most complete on volume of the text, methodical materials (schemes, cards, tables, reconstructions, figures) and appendices. This textbook is used by the students of humanitarian departments of universities of Russia.

With the help of questionnaire DOTS of A.Tomas at the big number of respondents (more than 3000) different age (from 16 till 75 years) the degree of display of 13 features of temperament (general activity, approach, mood, sensitivity, intensity, отвлекаемость, a rhythm of dream, a rhythm of meal, a rhythm of habits, persistence and flexibility of behaviour) has been investigated. Four types of age dynamics of features of temperament are described: 1) progressing increase in a degree of display of this or that feature; 2) progressing decrease in the corresponding size; 3) increase in a parameter at mature age and decrease in an old age; and 4) change of a parameter only at older persons. The opinion expresses, that these features are determined, natural morfo-functional changes in a brain and in an organism as a whole, connected to processes of the general ageing an organism.
