The work is devoted to one of the central notions of anthropological linguistics – group-wide language personality. The article considers one of the particular features of contemporary loanwords – vocabulary borrowed from foreign languages which entered the Russian language in XX–XXI centuries, in the speech of a group-wide language personality of higher education institution student of Tomsk. Central attention is focused on the realization of a group of nominative functions by foreign novations in student discourse. The youth newspapers, Internet websites of social communities, colloquial speech of students was chosen as the material for investigation. Multifunctionality of contemporary loanwords in student newspaper and Internet discourse is revealed – the nominative function is basic and is realized in specific linguistic functions. For foreign novations the most typical functions are information and determinative, synonymically differential, terminological and compressive. The role of loanwords in the formation of a language personality of a student: contemporary loanwords expand the terminological thesaurus of a future specialist, it is a cognition means in information technologies and household appliances, in the sphere of various interests of students.

The paper describes a theoretical study on the introduction of electronic educational resources in the learning process. The article deals with long-term tendencies in the development of world education. A key focus of development prospects is the implementation of new technologies emerging in global educational community. Productive use of interactive technologies is defined by the research model “Cone of learning” on the effectiveness of obtaining knowledge methods by Edgar Dale. The studied aspects of teaching get reflected in the real activity on the basis of the electron-didactic support, in particular, students being in the role of a teacher through the creation of thematic tasks. By way of illustration an open educational resource is demonstrated in order to define the significance of the content created for peer-correction. The teacher acts as the administrator of online groups and provides information support for working with the site. As a result, a step by step guide to the open educational resource application in the educational process is developed. Detailed steps of teachers and students activities on the creation of electron content within the selected Internet resource are given. The results of the study imply the need to expand blended learning knowledge paradigm in the pedagogical practice of higher educational institutions.

The article analyses the state of the Russian language in American education in the XXI century. As Russian is critically important for the USA, its teaching is closely connected with the issues of national defense and national security. The article shows that the present cooling of the relationship between Russia and the USA should not be regarded as the key factor in teaching Russian in American system of education and does not predetermine to a great extent the interest of Americans in learning it. The author focuses on the factors that may stimulate the interest in the Russian language in the USA, such as the activity of Russian communities, appearance of working places for Russian language specialists, spread of student and academic exchange programs, and the existence of the policy of the government which will aim at promoting foreign language teaching in the country in general. The article gives examples of the present day interest in Russian in the USA such as Russian dual programs, Russian-American exchange programs, student Olympiads, academic cooperation. The article looks at statistical data of the spread of the Russian language in American educational system nowadays and discusses the future perspective of the Russian language learning and teaching in the country.

The problem of correlation between professional development and maturity of a specialist is, first of all, the problem of the objectives and priorities of education to give knowledge or develop a personality (a system of values, mental and moral characteristics) who acquires knowledge. Introduction. This article reviews the personality of Lermontov and his works by criticism of Russian religious philosophers, especially by V.S. Solovyov. History and criticism of literature have а lot of researches, which analyze works of different writers by literary criticism of philosophers. Most often, they simply state one or another thought of philosophers without any assumption that it can be used as an instrument to analyze a piece of art. Materials and research methods. There is an attempt to use literary criticism of Russian religious philosophers as a methodology within analyzing religious-philosophy subject of the artistic literature, in this case by learning life and art of Lermontov in the article. Results and discussion. There is an analysis of literary-critical and some philosophical works of Solovyov in the article, as well as identification of his approaches to creativity and the fate of Lermontov. Special attention is given to the reception of the poem «Demon» and to the demonic theme in the works of the poet in general, confirms the assumptions about deeply personal attitude of the philosopher to the poet’s fate, and interprets the certain similarity between them. Attention is drawn to Solovyov’s selectivity of Lermontov’s texts, designed not only to understand the work of the poet, but rather to illustrate his ideas, which owned the philosopher at the end of his life. The analysis of numerous texts of Lermontov with angelic and demonic themes, which not perceived by the religious philosopher is given. Conclusion. The use of literary critics of the philosophers as methodology allowed us to conclude that the distortion of Lermontov’s demon theme made by Solovyev was explained by completely opposite historiosophical views, different «conceptions of knowledge»: Lermontov tried to explore the beginning of evil and wrote about the first-born of creation, Demon, “the spirit of knowledge”, turning the poem into the gnosiological poem, while Solovyev tried to understand the ultimate fate of human history and wrote the «Short story about the Antichrist» by formulating his eschatological views.

Substantiates the concepts of “working skills”, “values”, “value orientation to working professions”, “development of students’ value orientation to working professions”, “principles of development of studentes’ value orientation to working professions”. The focus is that the study of the principles of development of value orientation of students to the working profession is necessary for the design, implementation in practice of educational institutions educational programs and have an influence on its development in the initial general, basic general and secondary general education. In this case, the educational programs include basic educational programs of general education; working programs of subjects, courses, including courses, extracurricular activities; the program of spiritually-moral development, education trained while receiving the initial general education; the program of education and socialization of students in obtaining the basic general education; the program of education, socialization and vocational guidance of students in obtaining secondary education. It is important to understand and take into account the causal relationships, which are composed between the realization of the pedagogical impact on students and results, evidenced in the development of valuable orientations of workers to the profession. Therefore, in this article, we will determine principles and knowledge which will make the studying process manageable. Describe the principles of development of value orientation of school students to working professions that are formulated for the students of primary general, basic general and secondary general education.
