2806 | Due to technological progress and information technology our quality of life is improving, but at the same time the energy of person is significantly reducing. As a result, the health of younger generation is under the threat. The university system of physical activity sets the goal to prepare specialists, who are able to develop independently, based on a continual education. Creating stable motives is a necessary part for any education. Motivation for sport participation is a motor, which influences the level of activity in this area of interest, its direction and regularity. The questionnaire was used to determine the students’ motives for sport participation in the Tomsk Polytechnic University (TPU). The analysis of motives for sport participation provided some results. This analysis provided that an unstable motive for sports participation is manifested in students’ priority to find fun during the lesson; underestimation of health; the large attention to the weight; small quantity of motors, unformed cognitive motives; the deficiency of an optimal level of knowledge. The study revealed that the favorable psychological atmosphere in the classroom; the understanding of the thirdyear respondents that they need to be enroll in physical activity; striving for improving life performance through physical activity and enjoyment by the classes are main advantages of the system of physical activity in TPU. This data collection indicates the need to rank among the top eight motives by underlying two main motives from each group to determine the motivational complex, which characterizes the efficiency of students’ physical education and its focus on the future. 2807 | The research of means verbalizing the modal semantics, and in particular of modal verbs remains urgent in modern linguistics as they express modal values of the possibility and need which are ones of the most important in the cognitive and communicative relation. In its turn, cognitive and communicative needs of society remain variable and that causes semantic function extension of the language means, which are constantly to respond to the needs of society noted above. In this regard the semantics studying of the verb müssen is especially significant. The purpose of the research presented in this article is to reveal specifics and to define the mechanisms of the past and current semantic changes of the verb müssen that have ensured its development as a modal verb according to cognitive and communicative needs of the German society. To that effect the original Old, Middle, Early New and New High German texts were studied. In the selected examples from the given texts by means of the method of semantic interpretation and using the method of contextual analysis the meanings of preterite-present verb müssen functioning as modal verb in the correspondent periods of the development of German language were determined. Due to the consistent usage of the method of comparison and collation in the process of analysis of the meanings their similarities and differences were determined. For more detailed reflection on the transformation development tendency in the semantics of the verb müssen appearing in modal function the methods of mathematical statistics were also used. As a result of the conducted research semantic peculiarities of the verb müssen functioning in various periods of German were specified and the mechanism of the past and current changes is defined. The basic semantic transformation mechanism of the verb müssen into both modal objective and, from Early New High German, into modal subjective semantic is context-induced reinterpretation. The article describes the value-attitude constituent and theoretical content of the concept. The practical content of the concept represents the processes of pedagogical support of the students’ activities within the integrated educational space of higher pedagogical, general and additional education systems. Such processes include pedagogical probation which comprises educational and work experience internships for the pedagogical higher education institution students. The internships are supervised by the mentors from among the leading educators who work at different levels of educational system. The theory and practice of situation and context based learning and subject-to-subject approach are taken as a basis for educational processes developed within the pedagogical concept. This provides the active involvement of future teachers in professional and quasi-professional situations and in solution of the problems arising within the situations. The creation of the integrated educational space is aimed at the support of a wide range of practice oriented forms and kinds of activities of future teachers in process of performing by them their professional tasks. The creation of such space in educational process of higher education institution is provided by the work of the Center for Additional Physical, Mathematical and Natural Science Education. Further perspectives of the research are connected with the construction of the practical content as a component of the discussed educational concept and the study of the concept’s verification results, which would allow to develop a full and substantiated understanding of the process and results of the pedagogical support in the training of pedagogical university students with the use of the potential of higher, general and additional education integration. 2809 | The article is devoted to the study of life and work of the Bulgarian Patriarch Cyril in the context of studying his Russophile views. The work was based on the correspondence of the Bulgarian First Hierarch with archpriest Vsevolod Spiller and Department for external church relations consultant A. L. Kazem-Bek. The Bulgarian First Hierarch, having received a worthy European education, began his administrative service under the Synod of the Bulgarian Church, first in the rank of hieromonk, then archimandrite and vicar bishop. After a while he became a Plovdiv Metropolitan, taking over one of the largest and oldest dioceses. As the ruling bishop, he actively advocated for the Bulgarian Jews, who, with the arrival of the Nazis, were expelled from Bulgaria and sent to hard labor in labor camps. In addition to the fact that Metropolitan Cyril personally participated in the rescue of Jewish families, he urged the bishops at meetings of the Synod to help them and save them from destruction, thanks to which many Jews were saved. In 1953 Metropolitan Kirill was elected Patriarch. During his episcopal and patriarchal ministry he had an active correspondence with friends from Russia. Thanks to the surviving letters in this paper we attempted to analyze the nature of this correspondence and draw a conclusion that determines the relevance of the topics covered for contemporary church historical science. The ability to identify errors is of high priority for a future teacher of foreign languages. This will help students acquire and master necessary professional skills and will introduce the idea of language norm, as well as develop the ability to analyze and generalize information. Evaluating the quality of a written text can be done in an effective way by the knowledge of proofreading exercises. These exercises can really help students only if they are conducted in an organized manner and the students practice them consistently. The system of activities introduced in this article is designed for teaching students proofreading and includes four units. The Introduction acquaints students with the symbols, used for marking errors and provides first training. The Practice includes different in-class activities, such as peer evaluation, proofreading students’ own texts and games. In the Assessment part the author suggests the criteria for evaluating students’ proofreading skills. Some ideas for Creative Work are offered. The content of each unit is revealed in the article. Getting students to recognize problems in their writing is an important challenge which is best dealt with in class exercises. The undertaken research corresponds to the relevant problems of modern linguistics consisting in the need of documentation and description of the languages which are under the threat of disappearance. In spite of the fact that the Selkup language has been an object of researches for many years and it has been studied in different aspects, the morphosyntactic structure of somatic vocabulary of the Selkup language has not been exposed to the system analysis yet. Somatic vocabulary of the Selkup language is represented by several types of morphosyntactic structures: simple words; compound words with coordinative and subordinative types of linking of stems; phrases. Simple somonims are frequently used in possessive form of the third person singular. It is attached possession. Simple somonims can rarely add other suffixes. In somatic vocabulary only one case of shifting of the simple somonim to another part of speech has been revealed. The components of compound words and phrases are mostly nouns and adjectives. The subordination is expressed either by the possessive form of the third person singular or by the genitive case. The second component can be represented by any other part of speech. This category, widely used in pedagogical science and educational practice, does not quite justifiably relate to the concept of a task of a practical nature. The establishment of the specificity of competence-oriented tasks is carried out on the basis of an analysis of the positions of different authors, not only in understanding this category, but also in the semantically close to it concepts of “contextual task” and “situational task”, and also in connection with the modern interpretation of the learning task as a means of forming integrated educational result. The conclusion is drawn on the understanding of competence-oriented tasks as the tasks that, along with the formation of the subject competences of the student, determine the development of such qualities that determine the ability and readiness for independent cognitive activity, that is, the qualities whose totality determines the concept of cognitive competence. Examples of competence-oriented tasks are considered. Requirements to competency-oriented tasks in teaching mathematics are formulated. 2839 | Introduction. In the 21st century, all the languages of the world undergo radical changes in its lexical composition. Due to the need to nominate new concepts, phenomena and objects in the process of cognition and development of a constantly changing world, the lexical fund of languages is enriched by the emergence of new vocabulary, among which there are a lot of slang words. Youth jargon is an interesting language phenomenon both in Russian and in Chinese, which is developing almost simultaneously in two completely different language systems and linguistic cultures. Material and methods. The author analyzes the ways of replenishing the lexical fund of Russian and Chinese youth slang in a comparative aspect, taking into account the factor of cognitive mechanisms dependence of meaning generation within the framework of the slang fragment of the national world picture. The study is carried out on the basis of the material of the author’s dictionary files, as well as data from lexicographic sources based on the methodology of contextual, contrastive-comparative analysis, as well as word-formation modeling. Results and discussion. The most productive ways of enriching the corpus of youth vocabulary in both languages are revealed. This is metaphorization, affixation, foreign borrowing. At the same time, unlike Russian youth jargon, in the Chinese language, such methods as abbreviation and homophony reveal a greater specific gravity and linguocultural specifics in the formation of new slang units. The Chinese youth sociolect also reveals specifics when adapting foreign borrowings. These differences are due to the typological features of the Chinese language and the originality of the linguistic picture of the world of modern Chinese youth. Conclusion. The results obtained in the course of the study allow us to talk about the combined action within the framework of the slang subsystems of the Russian and Chinese languages as universal trends in the field of word production, and ways specific to each language to implement these trends. Ways to replenish youth jargon in a particular linguistic culture are determined by the conceptual content of its corresponding fragment. In the Eulerian approach on the other hand, partial differential equations for the conservation of mass and momentum are written for each of the particle’s fractions, which are solved together with the equation of the liquid flow. Even in the simplest hydrocyclone model, there are two phases present, namely liquid, and monosized particles. Since particles of different diameters move with different velocity, each additional particle size represents an additional phase. An algebraic slip approach was used, with three momentum equations solved for the mixture, and relative moment of each fractions take into account in the conservations equations, in an iterative manner. The relative velocities between the particles and liquid in the hydrocyclone are evaluated by consideration of the dynamic force balance on the particle itself. The consequence of the mass conservation for the all fractions in a turbulent flow is the equation of turbulent diffusion of particles for each particle fraction mass concentration (Euler description form). The method of the determination of the diffusion coefficient of the solid phases is considered. Results allow to draw a conclusion that given formula well describes turbulent transport of solid phase flow and can be used for numerical modelling multiphase flows | 1213 | |||||
