INDEPENDENT WORK OF TECHNICAL UNIVERSITIES STUDENTS IN TEACHING FOREIGN LANGUAGE: CONDITIONS OF OPTIMIZATION // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2010. Issue 1 (91). P. 127-130

In solving the problem of improving the quality of higher technical education, special attention is paid to arranging students’ self-study work. The paper reviews some approaches based on creation of pedagogical conditions to planning and arranging students’ self-study in learning foreign languages for specific purposes. The importance of a good command of English for IT specialists is also emphasized. The author underlines the importance of following the balance in the development of teaching materials between what students need and how they can get it.

-work modeling in teaching foreign languages to nonlinguistic students // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2011. Issue 6 (108). P. 59-63

In the article results of pedagogical design depicting the insights of learning and teaching environment are demonstrated. The modeling of the educational process was implemented on the main principals of competence approach. The subject for modeling was considered the self-work of non linguistic students in teaching foreign languages. Self-work is seen as a tool that is able to facilitate competences’ development.

INTEGRATION OF COMPUTER AIDED TOOLS IN TEACHING FOREIGN LANGUAGES TO TECHNICAL STUDENTS // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2012. Issue 4 (119). P. 155-159

The article introduced the analysis of existing computer aided tools and resources that are used in teaching foreign languages; their didactic capacity is defi ned; advantages and disadvantages are pointed out. Particular features of integration these tools in teaching foreign languages to technical students are described.
