In the article the structure and functions of headings of the various publications in Tomsk periodical press, which took place in the 60-s of the twentieth century, are considered. The research is based on the materials of the newspapers «The Krasnoe Znamya», «The Molodoj Leninec», «The Pravda Ilicha».
