System determinants of motivational sphere of pregnant women in contemporary social and economic conditions. // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2000. Issue 3 (19). P. 44-46

The article is devoted to the problem of influence of age character, social and professional status, financial level, family relations, state of health etc. on the formation of the motivational sphere of pregnant women. The results of investigation carried out in Tomsk are indicated. The importance of scientific investigation of the dynamic of women's motivational sphere in different periods of preg¬nancy to raise the level of psychological preparation to childbirth.

Formation of the Social and Psychological Portrait of a Modern Young Woman During the Reproductive Activity Period // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2002. Issue 3 (31). P. 25-37

The article presents results of the complex research of the modern conditions of socialization, formation of reproductive behaviour, personal peculiarities and psychic sphere state of women belonging to the optimal reproductive age group. 208 women aged between 18 and 35, among them 158 in the state of pregnancy, took part in the survey and psycho-diagnostic investigations. Out of the total number 100 women planned to give birth to a child and 58 planned to have a therapeutic abortion. It was established that the social status characteristics and the parent family composition allowed to prognosticate the character of interpersonal relations within a young woman's family, her personality state, the reproductive activity level and the so-called «corridor of opportunities* for professional seif-realization. The application of MMPI and other test and non-test psycho-diagnostic methods showed the peculiarities of formation of a number of personal characteristics and the structure of emotional relations as refers to women affected by desired pregnancy.

Research is devoted to influence of the person on various aspects of motherhood, such as social-to-role function of the woman. Mechanisms of occurrence of the neurotic conflict caused by a competition of values, by defects of installations or inadequate motivation to birth of children are considered. The urgency of the given direction of psychological researches for understanding of mechanisms of regulation of a mental condition of the woman is marked during pregnancy and after sorts, and as development of complex programs of correction of mentality and rehabilitation programs.
