Peculiarities of Procedure of Handing Preliminary Hearings on Criminal Cases // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2006. Issue 11 (62). P. 85-87

The institution of preliminary hearing in Russian legal proceedings appeared comparatively not long time ego. Being an intermediate stage between preliminary investigation and court examination, it plays a role of a filter, which is to reveal all the violations, preventing from considering the case in judicial sitting. The article, on the basis of practice, examines some questions of using the institution of preliminary hearing in examining concrete criminal case.
