The article tells about particular features of social-cultural transformation of the contemporaries. A large role of informational condition of civilization at present is outlined, which allows to tell about trends of establishing the open society as a type of the society which follows the industrial one. The genesis of the idea of the open society and particular principles of its culture are examined.
