COMPETENCE APPROACH REALIZATION IN HIGHER SCHOOL: THE SHORTAGE OF TUTORS’ METHODOLOGICAL READINESS // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2010. Issue 12 (102). P. 52-55

The essential characteristic of the competence approach as a generating paradigm in Russian higher education system is dealt with in the article. The data of the empiric research which reflect the most developed competences in teaching structure of Tomsk Polytechnic University tutors is cited. The shortage of higher school tutors’ methodological readiness to competence approach realization is indicated; the ways of this shortage elimination are suggested.

The article presents the ways of organizing of common sport practice with the students of the university. It shows characteristic methodical properties of organizing the work with students of non athletic departments of the university with the help of sport improving football groups. The article shows the results of empiric original research proving positive influence of football as a kind of sport in terms of common sport practice of the university students and forming healthy life style among the students of the latter group.

The article presents eight-year expererience of Tomsk State Pedagogical University for organizing children’s activities in the communities. It demostrates substantive and organizational-methodical implementation features of sports and recreational components of the discussed social and pedagogical practices. The data of empirical research, reflecting the effects of sports and recreational summer camps for children in residential areas. The prospects for research in the context of scientific and pedagogical knowledge related to sports and recreation aspects of summer recreation for children in the community.
