| 1 | This article summarizes the main problems hindering the development of the strategy of innovative development of Russian economy. The main factors impeding the development of innovation are analysed. The model of China’s innovation strategy was considered and proposed as an example. This model has proven its effectiveness even in the face of the global economic crisis by launching a sustained, large-scale, complex program, becoming the world’s factory and world laboratory for the production of innovations. Strategic direction will increase the competitiveness of the economy of our country and help to move from the use of natural resources, to an economy based on innovative development.
