| 1 | The article deals with the research of the correct pronunciation of difficult German sounds possibility by Russianspeaking respondents. The results indicated that it is easier for the Russian-speaking population to pronounce German vowels than consonants. The majority of respondents pronounced phonetically simple words correctly. Sounds in the words (Öl, Löffel, Zeugnis, Feucht, Nein, Neigen, Klein, Leute, Heute) did not cause difficulties in pronunciation. The most difficult phonetically sound was velar nasal consonant. Respondents who have problems with consonants phonemic hearing did not pronounce velar nasal consonant ([ŋ]). Increasing number of repetitions did not increase correctness of pronunciation of the studied sounds. Those who have difficulty in performing exercises on oral praxis, do not pronounce alveolar rolled consonant ([r]). | 2 | The article shows the transformation application in translation of scientific medical texts from English to Russian as the achieving equivalence method. The materials of research were 20 scientific medical Ophthalmology’s articles. The size in pages was 205. The research articles translations were made by professional translators and were published on the http://miroft.org.ua (special site for ophthalmology’s experts). The statistical analysis was made with using of special program for statistical analysis and graphics OriginPro 8.6. The article’s results have showed that the main translation transformation in ophthalmology’s article translations is lexical transformation. The least used transformation is mixed transformation (lexical and grammatical transformation). The characteristic feature of ophthalmology demands using the grammatical replacement, concretization, generalization and method tracing transformations more often than other transformations. | 3 | The article presents the analysis of pronunciation of some difficult German sounds by Russian respondents of musical and others specialities. All Russian respondents were examined by speech therapist, otolaryngologist, neurologist and linguist. Otolaryngologist and neurologist eliminated ear, throat and nervous system pathology in the examined respondents. Speech therapist’s examination included a study of expressive speech, impressive speech, phonemic hearing and practical functions. Linguistic research included repetition of some difficult for Russians German sounds (ö, eu, ei, ng, r, e, ü, ch, h). The results of interdisciplinary research showed that respondents of musical specialities have greater probability of correct pronunciation of German difficult sounds than the respondents of other specialties.
