This issue contains the analysis of condition of ecolo¬gist consciousness in humanitarian culture on the border of millennium. While analyzing was founded the role of ecologist consciousness in forming of ecocentric and bio-centric type of personality. This type of personality is ori¬entated to everybody's realization of his role in solution of global problems, including ecologists.

In the article is considered specifics of ecological com¬ponent of high pedagogical formation, so in particular, is motivated position on that that knowledges, tinned in the general school, are a central to further improvements of ecological component on main discipline in high scholastic institution. Thereby, is emphasized unceasing process an ecology high pedagogical formation. Future specialist must rationally combine knowledges, skills and skills on the new technician and technology of production with warning and analysis of negative influence on the nature, connected with its professional.

The article is dedicated to forming of ecological culture from the point of value settings. The application of historical and genetic approach is contributed to this process. For the analysis of different periods in the development of ecological consciousness, the following stages of perception of nature by a man could be distinguished: ecophobia, ecophylia, object perception of the nature, subjective perception of the nature, pragmatical perception of the nature, coevolutional interaction of the nature and society. In this aspect education is presented as space producing conditions for self-actualization, self-activation of a person, and working-out by a learner his or her «ego» The main and essential in this process is under-standing of coevolution of a person and nature, that is combined coexistence. In connection with it, from our point of view, the development of ecological education taking ecological culture into consideration is necessary.
