Problems in developing a complex of technical means and technological approaches to creation of electronic educational and methodical provision for correspondence and distance education needs have been analyzed in the paper. Perspectives of using WebCD based technology for educational and methodical materials delivery have been considered. It has been noted that the WebCD technology offers fundamentally new possibilities for perfecting organization of educational activity. A new development of a set of CD disks for various specialties of correspondence courses has been presented. EXPERIENCE OF INTRODUCTION INFORMATION SYSTEM EDECANAT 2.0 FOR AUTOMATE MANAGEMENT OF EDUCATIONAL PROCESS IN TSPU // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2013. Issue 1 (129). P. 184-187

This article considered the issues of automation of educational process management in the university at the dean’s office. The paper analyses the object domain tasks that performed by university division (dean’s office), and as a result was created an information model of the dean’s office activity. Comparative analysis of modern information systems architectures in the field of the educational process automation is concluded on the efficiency of client-server architecture that operates in environment of a pedagogical university.

IMPLEMENTATION OF THE PRINCIPLES OF PSYCHOLOGICAL AND DIDACTIC APPROACH IN THE SPHERE OF ITTECHNOLOGIES IN FOREIGN STUDENTS' TEACHING // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2014. Issue 5 (146). P. 65-72

According to the authors of the article the fundamental criterion of psychological and didactic approach to learning is a combination of the principle of the structural organization of the individual as a unique hierarchically organized psychological system with the principle of individual approach, implemented in relation to the person in the course of training activities. On the basis of the psychological and didactic principal of learning activity the authors developed and implemented a computer program, which is to identify the foreign students' learning activity style in Russianlanguage educational environment. The computer program is implemented in the form of web- based application of modern software solutions for network applications.

MAIN DIRECTIONS FOR APPLYING INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES TO THE AUTOMATION OF TSPU ACTIVITIES // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2015. Issue 3 (156). P. 110-118

This article deals with the automation of activities of Tomsk State Pedagogical University (TSPU). A review of the information systems developed and implemented in different departments at TSPU is conducted, including describing the information systems implemented in the research and development department, the editorial offices of scientific journals, the office of admissions, the document control center, and the department of student affairs. Basic information flows between the automated systems are described, and interfaces of their interactions are analyzed. The introduction of innovations in the University management system on the basis of modern information technologies is one of the most promising approaches, which will allow us to create advantages in today’s highly competitive educational environment. On the basis of the analysis performed, the main directions of activities for technical services and laboratories on the perfection and complex completion of the University’s information systems are revealed with the purpose of their further integration. Actual problems in the field of applying information technologies in the information systems of the University and ways to solve them are considered, as well as the directions for future work of the Institute of Applied Informatics are outlined.

DEVELOPMENT OF THE TYPICAL ELEMENT OF AN ACADEMIC DEPARTMENT’S MODEL // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2016. Issue 12 (177). P. 107-112

This paper considers the aspects of creating the typical model of business processes of an academic department. Applying the ARIS methodology allowed us to raise the efficiency of educational process management due to domain modelling when projecting components of the information system. Using the eEPC notation, the reference model intended for modelling the control of students’ academic progress during the examination periods has been constructed. On the basis of the analysis of application of business processes in the field of automation of management systems in higher education, the typical element of the object-oriented model of an academic department has been developed.

THE LEARNERS’ ELECTRONIC PORTFOLIO SYSTEM (E-PORTFOLIO) AS AN ELEMENT OF THE INFORMATION ENVIRONMENT FOR MANAGING THE EDUCATIONAL PROCESS IN A PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2018. Issue 1 (190). P. 148-154

This article is devoted to the methodological and practical approaches to developing and implementing the electronic portfolios for learners as part of the electronic educational environment for managing the learning process. Based on the modern model of education in the pedagogical university, as well as on the federal state standard, the main sections of the system of the students’ electronic portfolio have been formulated, which describe the main educational, scientific and other achievements of the students. In addition, the functional capabilities of the software implementation of an example of the electronic portfolio, software architecture and the methodological approaches to working with the system have been substantiated. The application of the students’ electronic portfolios allows us to quickly obtain the information about the status of the main parameters of student activities and to stimulate them in different areas of the activities. The electronic portfolio contains the following main categories of users: students, dean’s staff and system administrators. Students contribute the main data array (achievements of different types), and employees of the dean’s office can view a list of students’ portfolios. The created e-portfolio system allowed teachers, TSPU staff and the departments of the university to form a picture of students’ achievements in the different fields of the activities, which is enough completed for analysis and decision making, and on the basis of information stored in the system, to assign scholarships of different levels as well as to calculate rating indicators, and, thus, to indirectly monitor the learning process.
