SOME PECULIARITIES OF FORMATION OF MONTH NAMES IN EASTERN DIALECTS OF THE KHANTY LANGUAGE IN COMPARISON WITH SOUTHERN DIALECTS OF THE SELKUP LANGUAGE
This article discusses and compares the names of months composing calendar systems in eastern dialects of the Khanty language and southern dialects of the Selkup language. The representatives of these peoples are not genetically related but they inhabit the same geographical area on the territory of western Siberia. The examples of months names were given and discussed as well as comparative morphosyntactic and semantic analysis were provided.
