Information About Author:

The article is dedicated to the analysis of Russian (Soviet) and Western historiography of the 1930s-1990s that treats the Gregorian schism in the Russian Orthodox Church in the 2nd quarter of the XX century. A conclusion about the general features of the historians’ approach to investigating the Gregorian schism is made, based on the results of the analysis.
