Planar multilayer waveguides structures are considered. The dispersion equation for calculating of the effective refractive indexes and lateral distribution of electric field of the light is obtained in the case of waveguide layer with parabolic distribution of refractive index. This equa¬tion can be used for optimization of the optical parame¬ters of the integrated electron devices.
