THE ROLE OF EDUCATION IN FORMING LABOUR RESOURCES OF KNOWLEDGE ECONOMY
The article is devoted to the analysis of the global changes of labor resources quality in conditions of economy transformation. A distinctive feature of the modern economy is increase of information, intellectual and innovation components of the basic factors of production. Human resources become the main capital of the new economy which is also called knowledge economy. The article states the increasing role of knowledge, an increased interest in education throughout the world, the growth of the educational level of employment in the economy. It shows the problems of the existing system of education in Russia and the necessity of creation of conditions for lifelong learning.
