Russian Revolution in Interpretation by G.P. Fedotov: some Aspects of the Problem // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2006. Issue 1 (52). P. 69-75

In this article some aspects of historical-philosophical ideas G.P. Fedotov’s (1886–1951) are considered. These ideas are connected with his interpretation of Russian revolution (1917). The scientist’s aspiration to bring out connection of revolution with the previous development of Russia as well as with general word tendency is also given.

Article examines historic-religious ideas of Russian religious thinker F. A. Stepun about nature of war. The article shows an originality of his research strategy, based on synthesis of religiously-philosophical and scientific point of view that allowed him to reflect semantic complication of war as social phenomenon which has, according to his thought, both empirical and religious aspects.
