Shalnev A.S., Degtev V.V. NET PRESENT VALUE AS AN INDICATOR OF ECONOMIC EFFICIENCY IN FORESTRY. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2015. Issue 5 (158). P. 48-51

The article explains the use of the net present value for the evaluation of the effectiveness of forest management strategies for specific sites. In Russian practice, this indicator is mainly used for the evaluation of investment projects, but in forestry developed countries such as Finland and Canada for several decades now this index is used to evaluate the effectiveness of management of forest areas and planning for logging and reforestation on them. This is due to the fact that in the forestry sector, as well as in investment projects a great role is played by the factor of time, i. e. flows of revenues and expenses can be considerably spaced apart in time. This means that the use of indicators such as net income, profit, profitability, etc. do not allow to obtain complete information and give distorted results, as the time factor is not taken into account. Using an integrated model of economic evaluation in the context of strategies may also lead to an increase in the volume of selective logging, because their benefits can be assessed more clearly.

Keywords: net present value, forestry, forest income, discounting strategy of forestry, forest planning, harvesting forest plantations

Veduta O.V. PEDAGOGICAL WORK ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF STUDENT’S EDUCATIONAL MOTIVATION AT THE INITIAL STAGE OF VOCATIONAL TRAINING. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2016. Issue 8 (173). P. 9-14

The difficulties, which first-year students of secondary specialized schools meet at the initial stage of education, can decrease their educational motivation. So, it is necessary to carry out pedagogical work to help the students to overcome current difficulties and to prepare them to face the challenges of the next stage of education. The objective of this pedagogical work is to create favorable conditions for the gradual transition from the typical for the majority of the first-year students indifferent attitude to the future profession and predominance of motivation to avoid failure to the correct vision of the future professional activities and positive attitude to the education in the secondary specialized school. The achievement of this objective is provided by the performance of the following pedagogical tasks: creating conditions for gaining experience of successful learning activity; assistance in adaptation to the environment of a new educational institution; teambuilding; formation of the correct vision of the future professional activities; development of independent learning skills.

Semenova I.N. Conventional-reflexive system of teaching methods for training a professionally mobile teacher in a digital educational environment. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2024. Issue 2 (232). P. 7-15

When highlighting the concept of “personal activity” as an indicator of professional mobility, which is interpreted as readiness and adaptability to work under changing conditions based on the development of new forms and types of actions, the article describes a conventionally reflexive system of teaching methods of a modern teacher, which guarantees the formation of a teacher’s skills independently compose and evaluate teaching methods in a changing digital educational environment. The features of the proposed system of teaching methods are highlighted using a paradigm approach, taking into account the study of the status of the “teaching method” as a learning goal in the “Modern” educational paradigm. This status of the method in the context of teacher training allows us to indicate two classes of methods: methods of teaching and methods of organizing educational and cognitive activity. The essence of the specification of the methods of each class in the system of teacher training is determined by the property of autologicality (that is, the need to describe oneself). For the considered property, four main signs (characteristics) of manifestation have been established: the presence of an autological goal, fixing cause-and-effect relationships for using the method in a specific methodological system, studying cause-and-effect relationships for using the method when transforming the model of a specific methodological system, formulating a value judgment about the appropriateness of applying method in a certain methodological system or pedagogical situation. Endowing the property of autologicality with the selected characteristics of the content and procedural essence determines the link between knowledge and methods of activity, which is key for professional pedagogical education, allowing to activate professional (functional) literacy, qualitative characteristics of the personality, as well as the positive psychophysical mood of students. These competency components are included in the profile of “ability to understand and act”, considered as the basis of professional mobility. Achieving the didactic completeness of the presented conventional-reflexive system of teaching methods is determined by the formation of the teacher’s ability to independently compose teaching methods and methods for organizing educational and cognitive activities in a digital educational environment. As a means of forming this skill, a “learning-cognitive expert system” is proposed, which contains software support – a generator for disaggregating teaching methods and an expert block filled with methods of conventional role-playing reflection. Within the framework of using the proposed system, the formation of a selected skill can be carried out in three stages. In the paradigm terminology, the “educational-cognitive expert system” is, in fact, an element of the “value setting” of a particular “Modern” paradigm. The metaphysical part of this paradigm is given by the digital educational environment.

Keywords: paradigm approach, disciplinary matrix, conventionally reflexive system of teaching methods, autological teaching method, professional mobility, ability to understand and act, educational and cognitive expert system, digital educational environment

In the Randall-Sundrum scenario we consider exact 5-dimensional solutions with localized gravity which are associated with a well defined class of conformal bulk fields. We analyze tneir behaviour under radion field perturbations. We show that it the Randall-Sundrum exponential warp is the localizing metric function and the equation of state of the conformal fields is not changed by the radion perturbation then the 5-dimensional solutions are unstable. We present new stable solutions which describe on the brane the dynamics of inhoinoqeneous OUST, generalized dark radiation and homogeneous polytropic matter

Training programs on physical culture have provided studying of questions of history by school students. Therefore, the purpose of classes in history of physical culture with future teachers in the organizations of higher education and colleges is not only acquisition of knowledge, but also training in technique of teaching historical aspects, formation of interest in a profession. The article presents the results of the analysis of educational programs on physical culture for students of general education schools regarding existence of aspects of history of physical culture in them. The questions of the Olympic movement, the role of Pierre de Coubertin in its development and education, the origin of physical exercises and games are presented in programs for schoolchildren. There are no relevant issues in the programs on the history of the Paralympic Movement, the Deaflympic Movement, Special Olympics. Authors have determined possibilities of history of physical culture in formation of professional competences of future teachers of physical culture. Lessons of history of physical culture promote formation of important professional competences of future teachers and train them for organization of pedagogical, design, cultural and educational activity. The authors have defined the attitude of future teachers to the “History of Physical Culture” and the most expedient methodical receptions for use in classrooms. Most future teachers consider the history of physical culture an important topic, but they do not understand the practical significance of the subject. Among the most appropriate methods of teaching, students give priority to active methods. The authors have proved that students need special preparation for the use of methods of training in the professional activity.

Zakharova-Sarovskaya M.V. PECULIARITIES OF NEOLOGICAL COMPOUNDS FORMATION (BASED ON ATTRIBUTIVE COMPANY NAMES OF NOVOSIBIRSK). Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2018. Issue 7 (196). P. 61-65

The author studies the issue of complex word generation based on an integrative speech-thinking model of word production. The model reveals processes of words production on onomasiological, cognitive and word-forming level. The paper presents the results of studying complex words on the material of Novosibirsk city ergonyms with attributive semantics. Ergonyms, being the most actively enriched category of onyms for the recent decades, reflect general trends occurring in the language: use of different structure components in the composition of a complex word; various possibilities of language game: lexical, stylistic and graphic features of neologisms formation. The most significant trend of modern word derivation is agglutinative or analytical nature of compounding process. Special analytical components of a compound word are clipped stems, root affixes, nouns, adjectives, numerals, graphical signs or abbreviations; which can be grouped in different sequences in the compound word. The position of the component expressing the attributive semantics can be initial or final, with the predominance of the initial, that expresses the semantic model “defining component-determined component”. The integrative speech-thinking model of word-production as the basic research method of word production assumes the description of representation structures of different types of knowledge at several levels (onomasiological, cognitive, nominative and derivation) and the choice of corresponding speech forms. When generating a new word the choice of the most essential information occurs at the stage of signifying the predicative form and is realized in the equivalent conventional or non-conventional models of word-production.

The unit of measure of education quality is entered. Difficulties of introduction of a universal unit of measure are discussed. The option based on an average arithmetic assessment of knowledge of studied disciplines is considered. Sources of the errors arising at such expert assessment are studied. It is shown that the size of an error can be reduced if to use probabilistic approach. It is based on the introduction of functions – mathematical expectation estimation. The mathematical technology of processing of indicators of progress is offered. It is noted that the main problem there is a choice of an expert assessment. An example of objective calculation of an assessment is reviewed. The conclusion that the number of indicators of progress should not exceed three-four is drawn, otherwise errors of measurements increase more, than for 50 %. The problem of choice of indicators for assessment of level of training of the student is formulated. It is shown that the main priorities for the employer are his professional competences, and common cultural pale into insignificance. The conclusion can be drawn on quality of education, later some period after the beginning of work of the graduate of educational institution. It is shown that the state of educational-methodical documentation of the department has little effect on the quality of education. The paper is devoted to the analysis of threat tactic realization on the basis of the news genre. The threat tactic represents the confrontational strategy which exists in the framework of the linguopragmatic block of the coherent models of the conflict and congruous types of discourse. News genre is viewed as functioning in the intercultural political space. The author singles out three cases of the threat tactic realization: the beginning of the conflict communication, the response to some kind of action on the part of the opponent (or the third part), emotional reaction. All the above-mentioned cases present the explication of the threat tactic with the help of lexical, grammatical and other language factors. Outlines the prospects for further research to which belong the analysis of cognitive marked cases of threat tactic realization when the researcher needs additional efforts to classify these or those utterances as being destructive.

Bolotnova N.S. Harmonization of Communication of the Interview Participants in Author’s TV Program: Communicative-Pragmatic and Regulative Aspects. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2023. Issue 1 (225). P. 86-94

The problem of communication’s harmonization in different spheres is relevant in accordance with the modern communicative-cognitive paradigm of linguistic knowledge. This is especially true of media communication in connection with the media vector of development of up-to-date Russian studies. The promotion of the interview as one of the leading genres is of interest in terms of the interaction of its participants and as an object of perception of the mass addressee who perceives this media discourse. The purpose of the article is, based on the theory of regulativity as one of the directions of the communicative style of the text, to identify some linguistic mechanisms that form a harmonizing dialogue between a journalist and his guests as interview participants. The study is based on the use of the methodology and conceptual and terminological apparatus of the theory of regulativity developed in the communicative style of the text, the use of discursive, linguo-semantic, semantic-stylistic analysis. The material of the study was the author’s program “Very Personal” in the format of an interview with the famous journalist Viktor Loshak on the ORT channel. The effect of harmonious communication in the interview genre is achieved due to the overall positive and trusting emotional tone of the dialogue between the journalist and the guests; installation on the actualization of the objective successes and merits of the invited participants by the host program; the predominance of communication strategies and tactics of support, consent, compliment, self-presentation of the journalist and guests. The format of the author’s program includes a system of individual media genres, united by a common idea and image of the author of the program, which determine the integrity of the general media discourse, its coherence, conceptual completeness, communicative and pragmatic effect. In addition to the key media genre of the interview, the author’s program on ORT V. Loshak “Very personal” includes informative genres: presentation of the program and the guest, as well as etiquette genres: greeting, compliment, gratitude. Among the extralinguistic regulatory means, that form the effect of communication harmonization, the following stand out: the choice of guests – famous public figures; musical screen saver for the program; non-verbal behavior of the journalist and program participants (friendly look, supportive gestures, facial expressions); logical-compositional deployment of a discourse aimed at emphasizing the personal and professional merits of invited media persons who are of interest to a mass addressee. Linguistic regulatory means and structures that have a communicative-pragmatic effect include: quoting a guest, pick-up questions; clarifying questions, including options for answers to choose from; questions aimed at revealing the merits of the guest and his social significance; supporting remarks, the use of ameliorative evaluative vocabulary and vocabulary with the semantics of agreement, support; the appropriate use of figurative and expressive means and an explicit regulatory strategy of an amplifying-convergent type. The use of the theory of regulativity and its terminology allows us to judge some of the mechanisms for the formation of the communicative-pragmatic effect of harmonious communication between a journalist and guests during an interview in the author’s program “Very Personal” by Viktor Loshak on Public Television. The obtained observations are of interest for further development of the problem of the effectiveness of media communication and the study of the mechanisms of speech influence in the dialogue of communicants.

The article presents one of the marginal genres of engineering discourse, the Missing Manual, in the aspect of its metaphorical organization. The results of the analysis have shown that a set of metaphors can be identified in the Missing Manual, namely: the anthropomorphic metaphors that are connected with the anthropocentric paradigm; time and space metaphors that are identified on the basis of semantic features as the humans and everything that surrounds them cannot exist outside of temporal and spatial coordinates; conceptual metaphors that are considered as theoretical constructs that differ in degree of abstraction. The special attention in the article is devoted to the anthropomorphic metaphors which represent various devices as possessing physical and mental abilities, personal attributes, parts of the body, etc. By the example of the Missing Manual it has been demonstrated that the necessity and importance of metaphors in the given text-type depend on two factors: pragmatic goal and functional stylistic status of the Missing Manual. The authors conclude that metaphors in the discussed genre perform two core functions, i.e. the function of gaining consumers’ affection and the function of exerting control over the formation of consumers’ notion of some devices which can have an impact on their decision-making.
