The main directions of the research were constructed on the basis of empirical data results and the methods of comparison, generalization and analysis of literature data. The material of the research is the results of the practical experience of teaching the discipline ‘Foreign language’ to the students of linguistic faculties. The formation of the image of the Motherland in foreign language lessons should be based on the following principles: 1. Preservation of continuity. Work on patriotic education in foreign language lessons should be based on the best traditions of the national system of upbringing and education. 2. Formation of a holistic image of the Motherland. For a long time, knowledge about our country was transmitted fragmentarily and, as a rule, was only supplemented with some information about the country of the language being studied. It is important once again to assess the content of major disciplines with the aim to fill in the gaps which were made earlier and did not allow to see the multi-faceted image of the country. 3. The creation of a positive image of the country. It is essential to revise the curriculum with the aim to decently and informally cover the heritage of the country in specific sectors of economy and in the world landscape. 4. The development of the skill to criticize constructively by providing a weighted and critical analysis of the disadvantages, by being able to provide positive as well as negative sides. 5. | 6755 | The journalistic picture of the world is changing rapidly, reflecting the dynamics in the life of society. The purpose of this article is to identify the dynamics of the journalistic picture of the world using the example of headline complexes of various texts in Tomsk newspapers of the 60s of the XX century and 2007 of the XXI century. The research material is 150 header sets of texts from Tomsk newspapers of different themes, structure, genre features, and functions. The study was carried out on the material of the periodicals “Red Banner” (1962), “Young Leninist” (1965), “Pravda Ilyicha” (1962), “Tomsk News” (2007), “Tomsky Vestnik” (2007). A comparative and contrastive analysis of the titles in publications of Tomsk newspapers of different years and the use of semanticstylistic and contextual research methods make it possible to judge the dynamics of the journalistic picture of the world. The analysis showed that the titles of texts in Soviet-era newspapers were always associated with the propaganda of the party’s ideology. This reflected the communist pathos of all publications, regardless of the topic. The titles were examined in terms of their structure, genre features, themes and functions. First of all, the dynamics are observed in the topics of publications. The social system, social environment, ideology, and the needs of the audience cannot but influence the content and form of newspaper and journalistic texts, which is reflected in the titles. The changes are especially noticeable at the lexical level. In the past, ideologemes were actively used, the language of newspapers was standardized, normalized, and journalists used only literary vocabulary. Journalism in 2007 is full of occasional words, colloquialism, jargon, slang, etc. The dynamics are also noticeable at the functional level. In Soviet times, the main functions of headlines in newspaper texts were information and propaganda. The titles of the publications fully fulfilled their functions. The ideology of the Communist Party did not allow the others to be fully realized. They existed, but were poorly represented. Journalism at the beginning of the 21st century is characterized by the dominance of the advertising function. The 2007 header complexes contain a large number of elements indicating an advertising function. It is worth noting that the identification of the functions of heading complexes is directly related to the features of the journalistic style, such as information content, open evaluation, expressiveness, advertising and propaganda (in periodicals of the Soviet era). | 6756 | The article is devoted to the study of the work on the formation of student initiatives in pedagogical universities. The main contradiction that was revealed in the course of the study suggests that with a high scientific interest in initiatives in the process of both professional activity and vocational education, including pedagogical, their essence in teacher training has not yet been sufficiently studied. In addition, the forms, types, and potential of generating initiatives of future teachers in the space of a pedagogical university have not been sufficiently studied and systematized. The purpose of this study was to clarify the concept and types of pedagogical initiatives at the theoretical level, to identify and analyze the features (forms) of working with the initiatives of future teachers in pedagogical universities of Russia, to determine the degree of generation by universities of pedagogical initiatives of students. The research material was: scientific and pedagogical literature and information from the websites of 34 pedagogical universities of Russia, documents of competitive professional events. In the course of the research, such methods were used as: analysis of scientific literature; observation of the practical activities of pedagogical universities; content analysis of information from university websites as a formalized method of studying textual and graphic information of the site, followed by its translation into quantitative data and its statistical processing. The analysis of historical and scientific literature related to the initiative activity of students of pedagogical universities allowed us to identify the definition of initiative as the moral quality of a person, her ability to express advanced, creative ideas in active activity, as a measure of activity and a way to encourage new expressions. The “enlarged groups” of initiatives were identified: socio-pedagogical, professional-pedagogical, intellectual-cognitive, the meaning and forms of implementation of the selected initiatives when working with students were determined and the features were considered. As part of the study, the analysis of the presentation of various types of initiatives by pedagogical universities on the official websites of educational organizations was carried out. A site analysis map was compiled and statistical calculations of the types of pedagogical initiatives of students were made based on the collected data. | 6757 | At the turn of the XVIII–XIX centuries, history, which was traditionally considered as part of literature, art, acquires the status of science. At this time, its branches such as philosophy of history, source studies, etc. are intensively developing, a scientific methodology for studying and describing the past is being formed. Gogol’s understanding of history approaches at least two concepts established in the historical science of the first third of the XIX century: biblical historicism and universal history. The initial idea for both is the postulate about the action of Divine providence in the earthly existence of an individual and all mankind. In Gogol’s picture of the world, the idea of Fishing was established quite early and was reflected in historical journalism, letters and works of art. The Christian concept of Divine providence is also read in the artistic system of the story “Taras Bulba”, defining its chronotopic and motivic organization, the system of characters. To determine the features of Gogol’s historiosophical concept and the author’s strategies of its artistic embodiment in the story “Taras Bulba”. The research material was Gogol’s artistic and journalistic works, as well as his epistolary. The material is analyzed in religious-philosophical and historical-literary aspects. According to the results of the study, a conclusion is made about the specifics of Gogol’s historiosophical views, including the artistic historiosophy embodied in “Taras Bulba”. In the poetics of “Taras Bulba”, the idea of Divine providence can be traced not only at the conceptual level, but also in the motivic complex and chronotopic organization. The motivic complex of “Taras Bulba” includes the following semantic links: the will of God and the free will of man, the situation of choice, the search for one’s place/destiny, the fulfillment of one’s duty as a manifestation of free obedience to God, etc. The chronotope of the story is characterized by a combination of different time plans, which allows the author to show history as an integral system, pointing out the causes of events and their consequences, as well as to present the historical process and the earthly existence of man in the vector of Divine Providence. Depicting the past of Russia, Gogol focuses on the fact that the “stone fabric” of great history is woven from the “threads of biographical” private stories, that the historical process is the result of a dialogue between the free will of man and Divine providence. “Taras Bulba” is characterized by a multifaceted and mobile optics of the image, which focuses on both epochal events of national history and personal stories of individual characters, including details of the description of their inner world. | 6759 | The purpose of the article is to trace the act of communication of A. S. Pushkin’s poetic text in its pragmatic orientation; an act of emotive influence of the Russian language, Russian culture and manifestation of the Russian mentality in Pushkin’s works. The task is to find out: 1) the linguistic essence of the text; 2) extralinguistic orientations, taking into account: the author; the addressee (who are they – “To the Slanderers of Russia”); correlation with the historical, social and cultural context (Pushkin’s attitude to the Polish-Russian issue; Russian-French context (in particular); relations between Russia and the West (in general); provocativeness of the text in relation to liberal-minded compatriots. The article presents the text in linguodidactic consideration during classes on Russian as a foreign language with philology students; educational material has been developed for a practical course on intercultural communication, including co-study of the Russian language, history, literature and culture. Work on the text is carried out in the context of a communicative approach, revealing the informative, semantic and pragmatic essence of a literary text; Not only the “language technique” is studied, but also the culture of the country. In the process of working on a literary text, students get acquainted with the history of Russia, the mentality of the Russian people, reflect on problematic issues and communicative tasks – the desire and ability to “think for themselves” (critical thinking) is gradually formed, and the need arises to share thoughts in Russian. Philology students (3–4 years), analyzing the text, reflecting on it, learn to understand the processes taking place today in modern society - in the year of the 225th anniversary of the great Russian poet. Pushkin’s ingenious prophetic text, problematic issues, communicative tasks and line-by-line analysis of the text “To the Slanderers of Russia” help foreign students understand historical realities, teach them (“while their hearts are alive for honor”) to think critically, and therefore to prevent problems intercultural communication. The research materials were the theoretical works of scientists (linguists, methodologists, historians), reflection of many years of teaching experience at the university. Methods of complex analysis of text and discourse were used, as a result of which the pragmatic orientation of A. S. Pushkin’s ode was revealed – the “spirit” of the great Pushkin text and the “spirit” (albeit not strong in the knowledge of the history and culture of Russia, but searching, thinking) - the “spirit” of the reader. The emotive impact on the contemporaries of A. S. Pushkin, and us, reading these poems in the year of the 225th anniversary of the genius, is equally strong and provocative. | 6760 | The purpose of this article is to identify the basic principles and stages of an independent analysis of a literary work and to ensure a minimum set of tools necessary for practical development by readers-senior classes or students of the procedure for analyzing a lyrical poetic work. The material for the analysis was the methods of immanent and intertextual analysis described in the works of literary critics, taking a linguistic commentary; Illustrative material was chosen by the text of the poem by Ye. Yevtushenko “Two Bicycles”, the method of studying the problem – conceptual and comparative analysis, schematization. Most Olympiads, including the All-Russian School Olympiad in Literature, offers a task for the analysis of the text of a literary work - prose or poetic. An analysis of literary works of different genera and genres, different cultural eras and literary areas are a philological skill that requires the ability to use their reader impressions, reflect, highlight, compare, compare elements, generalize the observations made and interpret them. The ideas about a holistic analysis of a literary work are expanded in the article due to an appeal to linguistic commentary and intertextual analysis. The intertextual analysis helps the interpretation of the literary work in the case when the “internal”, contextual connections are supplemented by “external”, connecting this text with other systems of references through quotes, roll calls, heroes, plot motifs, events, or even proxy elements (in lyrics in lyrics (in lyrics). The beginning of the analysis seems to be a complex step in the procedure for independent analysis of the text of the literary work, therefore, the article highlights different methods of the start of the analysis and demonstrates their potential on the material of the poem Evtushenko “Two Bicycles”. The author concludes that in an independent analysis of the reader-schoolman, the detection of patterns in the organization of various aspects of the literary work contribute to both the moments of the reader’s “surprise” and the purposeful highlighting of fragments of the text, their comparison and comparison, the search for semantic laws and, then, the interpretation of the identified data. | 6761 | Introduction. The modern era of globalization and the expansion of intercultural communication creates new challenges and puts them to the solution of scientists carrying out their research in various scientific fields. The actual problem of the humanities is the description of national pictures of the world by modeling their fragments. In linguistics, the study of verbal means of objectifying conceptual meanings is of particular importance today. Among the latter, poetic texts stand out, the aesthetic orientation of which makes it possible to investigate the images present in these texts as linguoculturological and cognitive means. Aim and objectives. Explore the role of figurative symbolic means in the interpretation of a fragment of the Chinese picture of the world associated with the interpretation of the image of bamboo in ancient poetic texts. Material and methods. The material of the research is poetic texts of ancient Chinese authors. The units are linguistic means that embody one of the most common images in Chinese linguoculture – the image of a bamboo. The main research methods are contextological and lexical-semantic. Results and discussion. The peculiarities of the biological structure of bamboo and the diverse possibilities of its use in the life of native Chinese speakers determine the richest figurative potential of the nominated lexeme. The inclusion of this lexeme in a broad context significantly enriches the process of generating meaning. Linguistic means that objectify the interpretation of the image of bamboo in Chinese linguistic culture, in the textual perspective, get the possibility of their conceptual interpretation. The latter unfolds on the basis of considering the symbolic components of meaning inscribed in the national picture of the world at the level of its fragments. The directions of symbolizing the meaning of linguistic units nominating the image of a bamboo are revealed by considering the speech structure of ancient poetic texts of Chinese authors. Conclusion. The key manifestations of the symbolic meaning of the image of bamboo in Chinese linguistic culture, judging by the results obtained, can be called the options for interpreting the image of bamboo as a symbol of high morality, purity, peace, harmony and serenity. Such a symbolic interpretation does not contradict the basic dogmas of Chinese philosophy; it is based on an associative roll call that arises in the minds of native speakers as a result of a comparison of plant properties and human characteristics. | 6762 | The literary tradition of the religious and philosophical study of N.V. Gogol’s novel "The Overcoat" is mainly associated with the identification of evangelical images, motifs, plots (e.g., allusions to the parables of the marriage feast, about the rich man and Lazarus, etc.), as well as components of the hagiographic text (primarily, the lives of St. Acacius of Sinai, as well as St. martyr Acacius). The purpose of the article is to consider the semantic dominants of the story in the context of the epistles of the Apostle Paul, whose personality and theology had a significant impact on Gogol’s worldview and creativity. In the "The Overcoat" there are motifs letter – spirit, old – new, etc., which go back to the apostolic text. The letter – spirit antithesis is not just a background motif of the story, but forms a microplot of writing inside the plot about the official, which is formed with the help of such semantic nodes as the writing person, text, letter. Bashmachkin’s "Official for writing" exists in a world of text that breaks down into letters and is devoid of meaning. His focus on the service of the letter and indifference to everything else, including the spiritual world, correlates with the antithesis of the dead letter – life-giving spirit indicated by the Apostle Paul. The binary oppositions old – new, "inner man" – "outer man", emphasized in the epistles of the Apostle Paul, define the core of Gogol’s artistic anthropology, which asserts the idea of spiritual formation and spiritual choice of man. In this regard, the plot of Bashmachkin is read as a story about the tragic fall of a man from his high destiny, as a story about a man who did not make the transition from a sinful existence to a meaningful existence in the spirit. | 6764 | The article deals with the problem of religious values expressed in the festive Christian (Orthodox) and Muslim sermons and their functional features. The research is carried out on the Easter Epistles in 2009 and 2014 and the Uraza Bairam sermons in 2009 and 2024. The purpose of the article is to define the functions of the two confessions sermons, to compare and contrast the values expressed in the epistles/sermons. Having analyzed the results of scientific research aimed at religious discourse and the genre of a sermon we define the functions of the sermons as the following: introduction to religion, reinforcement of faith, information for an addressee, edification, value instilling, appeal to self-improvement, uniting into a single community, evaluation of the current situation, emotional appeal. Emotional appeal is an important element in building the value picture of the world. Emotional reaction of the addressee includes empathy which is created during religious communication process. We define the necessary conditions for empathy as belonging to "we-group" and sharing values of an addresser and an addressee. We came to the conclusion that the values expressed in the epistles/sermons are common for both confessions. They are God, faith, eternal life, sticking to the commandments, rituals, positive emotions (love, joy, hope), help and empathy, strength and patience. The difference between the values lies in the fact that Easter is dedicated to Jesus Christ’s feat and believers feel the gratitude for it, Uraza Bairam is the end of the Lent, which presents a certain difficulty for believers and believers have to pay mandatory alms, which is declared in the sermons as a value of self-control and brotherhood with co-religionists. The analyzed epistles/sermons enable us to make conclusions about the functional similarity of the two confessions sermons. Value capability is similar in their core component, which is expressed by different language units. Peripherical values of Christianity and Islam are different due to peculiarities of theology and rituals. Keywords: religious discourse, sermon, values, empathy, emotional appeal | 1126 | |||||
| 6765 | Identification of stylistic dominants in a literary text is an important component of philological analysis. Along with the peculiarities of poetics of different directions, we can talk about the uniqueness of the style of both the author and the artwork. The analysis of various stylistic dominants allows you to more accurately determine the theme and idea of the work, to reveal the subtext. Meanwhile, stylistic dominants in the works of Silver Age authors have not been studied enough, and there is no unified classification of stylistic dominants. The purpose of the article is to identify the stylistic dominants of the authors’ representation of the subtext, depending on their affiliation to a particular trend and literary association. The research methodology is comprehensive, it is based on the use of comparative, discursive, semantic, stylistic, biographical analysis and is based on the theory of regularity, developed in the communicative stylistics of the text. The research material includes works by poets of various genres: symbolists, acmeists, futurists. For a comparative analysis, the works of several poets representing not only the trends of the Silver Age, but also various literary associations are taken: senior (the period of the late 19th century) and junior symbolists (the period of the early 20th century); three circles of acmeists (according to the degree of involvement in the poetics of acmeists); cubofuturists (V.V. Mayakovsky and others) and egofuturists (And. The Northerner). In the 20th century, the search for new ways to reflect the real world is not limited to substantive changes, but also requires formal transformations in the language of various literary trends and unique poetic associations. Often, form becomes more important to authors than content, which leads to the emergence of a wide variety of literary techniques and means of expression in their works. In the literary works of this period, one can find the original use of stylistic resources in the field of phonetics and graphics, vocabulary and phraseology, morphology and syntax. The aesthetic attitudes of each literary trend required different stylistic dominants in the representation of the subtext. By stylistic dominance, we mean the use of various regulatory linguistic and extralinguistic means or their combinations, which determine the uniqueness of the author’s idiosyncrasy and reflect his original speech style and worldview. Literary trends of the Silver Age are distinguished by unique, sometimes contradictory qualities and stylistic dominants that can reveal the subtext in different ways. It is established that the choice of stylistic dominants depends on many factors, starting from the historical literary process and ending with the peculiarities of each poet’s biography. Taking into account the dominance of certain ideological and thematic features among the authors of different literary trends, the article examines different types of subtext and regulatory means of their representation at the level of stylistic dominants. Symbolists especially often use color and sound painting to create unique images saturated with symbolism. In the poetic worldview of the symbolists, the concepts of loneliness, longing and longing are often found. Given the place of religious philosophy in the poetics of the Symbolists, we can talk about the predominance of philosophical and religious overtones in their poetry. Acmeists use precise words and allusions to various events and works of literature. As stylistic dominants, representatives of this trend are usually characterized by lexical means of representing mythological and cultural overtones, taking into account the ideological and thematic orientation of their works. Futurists often experiment with the form, changing the graphic and phonetic form of the word. Each futuristic association has its own unique features. Cubo- and egofuturists stand out in particular. Using various transformations of lexical, word-formation, graphic and syntactic means as stylistic dominants, the poets actualized philosophical and social subtexts. | 6768 | Artificial intelligence (AI) is becoming an integral part of the educational environment, significantly transforming the process of learning foreign languages. Its implementation allows for an individualized approach to each student and makes educational programs more adaptive to the needs of students. The use of AI allows for the automation of the knowledge testing process, providing instant and objective feedback, and developing personalized tasks, which contributes to more effective assimilation of the material. At the same time, the active implementation of AI is accompanied by the emergence of new ethical and legal challenges. Among them are copyright issues related to the creation and use of generated content, the risks of violating academic integrity, since AI can be used to complete tasks without the participation of the student, as well as issues of personal data protection, given the processing of large volumes of information. The problem of digital inequality is of particular importance, since access to modern technologies and digital resources remains uneven. In Russian legislation, AI is not recognized as a subject of copyright, which creates uncertainty in regulating the use of its products. International organizations such as UNESCO emphasize the importance of forming an ethical culture, developing digital literacy, and maintaining human control over the educational process. Successful integration of AI into educational practice requires a comprehensive approach that includes improving the regulatory framework, developing new ethical standards, and increasing the digital competence of all participants in the educational process. The theoretical significance of the study lies in the comprehensive analysis of the legal and ethical aspects of using AI in language education, and the practical significance lies in proposing specific measures to improve the regulatory framework, form ethical standards, and increase the digital competence of participants in the educational process. | 6770 | The article examines the preservation of synesthesia, a specific type of metaphor, in the English and French translations of I.S. Turgenev’s novel "A Nest of Gentry". As a literary device that generates figurative meaning, synesthesia is integral to the expressive structure of this literary work. The objective of the study is to evaluate the effectiveness of the translators in conveying this expressive element in the English and French versions of the novel. The material of the study includes six English and three French translations of the novel "A Nest of Gentry" by W. Ralston (1869), M. Hapgood (1903), C. Garnet (1917), B. Isaacs (1947), R. Freeborn (1970), M. Pursglove (2016), as well as C. Sollohoub (1862), M. Lichnevski (1927) and F. Flamant (1982). The methodological foundation of this study is comprised of a range of general scientific and specialized methods, including logical approaches (such as analysis, comparison, abstraction, and generalization), a functional method aimed at identifying elements of the linguistic repertoire within spoken language, and component analysis intended to examine the content components of linguistic structures. The objective of this study is to identify and analyze convergent examples of the synaesthetic element reconstruction within the text of the novel. For each original expression that falls within the category of imagery-creating means, multiple translation alternatives are documented in the translations and evaluated against the original expression based on selected criteria for assessing translation quality—namely, adequacy and convergence. The application of these criteria is essential for comparing the original expression with specific translation solutions: a translation is considered adequate if it faithfully reproduces the semantics of the original statement, thereby focusing on the reconstruction of the substantive component of the original means of expression. Convergence, on the other hand, is defined as the preservation of the functional aspect of the expression; in the context of synesthesia, this pertains to the figurative attribute of the original expression. The object of this study is the reconstruction of synesthesia in the English and French translations of the novel, while the subject pertains to the evaluation of the effectiveness of translation strategies concerning synesthesia in terms of the equivalence of tropes across the compared languages. The analysis of the reconstruction of synesthesia in the English and French translations of I.S. Turgenev’s novel "A Nest of Gentry" encompasses the following aspects: the selection of translation strategies employed by translators to convey synesthesia, considering the linguistic differences and cultural nuances of the languages in question; the retention or loss of imagery in the translations; and the impact of the chosen translation solutions on the reader’s perception. The study’s results reveal that all nine translators of I.S. Turgenev’s novel The "A Nest of Gentry" into English and French encounter specific challenges in conveying synesthesia. In some instances, translators present inadequate or divergent translation solutions, resulting in either a partial or complete loss of imagery and emotional impact from the original text. The selection of linguistic means in the translations depends on the translators’ understanding of the implicit meaning of the source expression, while the consistency in the choice of linguistic units by certain translators often appears to be mere coincidence. Evaluating the success rate of synesthesia reconstruction in the English and French translations indicates that only four out of the five selected instances of synesthesia underwent reconstruction. Considering the overall number of analyzed translations, the study examined a total of forty-five reconstructions, of which sixteen were identified as coherent. This finding represents only 35 % of the total number of translations reviewed. The most effective translation solutions are provided by B. Isaacs, who achieved successful reconstruction in three out of five instances. R. Freeborn, M. Lichnevski, and F. Flamant successfully reconstructed two out of the five analyzed synesthesia. Both R. Freeborn and F. Flamant made one error in translation that involved a distortion of meaning. In contrast, K. Garnett, M. Pursglove, and F. Hapgood managed to reconstruct only one of the five expressions without committing any translation errors. Notably, K. Garnett demonstrates a tendency to operate at the pragmatic level of translation, prioritizing the preservation of the original meaning while avoiding attempts to imitate the author’s literary style and minimizing comprehension errors. | 6771 | The article is devoted to the active processes in modern speech, such as massive spread of univerbated words and verbal nouns. These phenomena can be seen in various lexical forms derived with different suffixes. The data used in the article is verbal nouns derived with suffix -k- (vypechka, zapivka, moika, perenoska) and univerbated words with homonymous suffix (molochka, sotsialka, veterinarka, nulevka). These two groups of words are involved in active lexical and semantic variation processes. The data source is explanatory and word-formation dictionaries, The Russian National Corpus, latest fiction texts, colloquial speech recordings. Results and discussion. The lexicon dynamics is largely determined by two processes – on the one hand, by the wide expansion of verbal nouns with typical metonymic meaning transfer in this lexical group, on the other hand, by the extreme spread of univerbated words, especially in colloquial speech. The regular word-formation models correspond to regular metonymic meaning transfer. Univerbation as a means of folding multiple-word structures represents a compressive word-formation characteristic of colloquial speech. Lexical meaning dynamics is reflected in explanatory dictionaries that represent vocabulary of various historical periods. Some univerbated words are placed firmly in literary language (elektrichka, morekhodka, zachetka), as well as the other have recently appeared in colloquial speech (sanktsionka, udalenka). Lately appearing special dictionaries of univerbated words provide rich material for this phenomenon study both in synchrony and in diachrony. What is of particular interest is the use of verbal nouns and univerbated words with the homonymous suffix in modern fiction, where various forms of author’s reflection are observed. The conducted research has shown the communicative significance of two processes – the formation of verbal nouns and univerbated words with the homonymous suffix. The appeal to lexicographic publications shows a typical mechanism of lexical and semantic variation associated with the speaker’s desire to convey different thoughts concisely or to denote new realities with a single lexeme. | 6773 | The article notes approaches to the interpretation of “time travel” literature and the characteristics of one of its varieties – a fantastic school/vacation story about “time travelers” to the Soviet past. A review of texts written in the first decades of the 21st century about the displacement of children into the Soviet past (T. Kryukova, A. Zhvalevsky, E. Pasternak, etc.) allows us to speak about the development of a certain genre formula, which all authors follow in one way or another. A. Remеz’s novel “The Cat from Jupiter” is analyzed from the point of view of the embodiment of the selected genre features and the author’s originality. The writer follows the main plot line of the genre (the sudden transfer of a child from the present to the past, the use of a border locus, the perception by the “time traveler” of Soviet life as gray and dull, relationships with adults as stricter, more regulated, not taking into account the subjectivity of the child). But, unlike other authors, A. Remez uses the locus of a sanatorium, not a school or a pioneer camp to move a character; she, more than other writers, pays attention not only to the difference, but also to the similarity of forms of children’s subculture of the Soviet period and the 2010s, gives a kind of encyclopedia of children’s life in a medical sanatorium 1980s: describes the rules of street team games, burying “secrets” for memory, as well as forms of spending time in the ward (weaving toys, telling horror stories, reading books, discussing films) and many others. Moving into the past, and in the finale back to one’s own time, strengthened the connection between generations, made the world of parents, their values and childhood memories more understandable for a modern child, as they became familiar with this world through immersion. | 6774 | The study of the media discourse of public linguistic personalities belongs to the relevant areas of modern linguistics. Of particular interest is the analysis of interviews with the participation of the writer as a creative personality with a special worldview and the ability to focus on the mass addressee. The purpose of the article is to identify the specifics of the communicative style of the creative media linguistic personality of the writer based on his speech behavior in interviews. The article analyzes the material of 4 interviews in 2013-2023 with the participation of Tatyana Efremovna Meiko, a member of the Union of Writers of Russia. The research was carried out in line with communicative stylistics using the theory of regularity developed within the framework of this direction and using methods of discursive analysis, semantic-stylistic, contextual analysis and experiment based on a survey of informants. It is established that in the interview T. Meiko reveals herself as a creative, emotional, passionate person, constantly on the lookout, able to support young writers by sharing his experience. In interviews, the author often uses communicative strategies of influence, self-presentation, positive attitude, openness, and trust. This is reflected in the verbal and non-verbal behavior of the individual, including phonation features, gestures and facial expressions. It is revealed that the writer in public media communication is characterized by a figurative metaphorical style, which manifests itself in the use of vivid regulatory means (metaphors, epithets, comparisons), as well as stylistic techniques of repetition, contrast, rhetorical questions and exclamations. Of the regulatory strategies in the writer’s discourse, strong explicit regulatory strategies of a mixed sequential-convergent type prevail in terms of uniformity / heterogeneity of the regulatory tools used, performing one function. The experiment on the recognition of the writer and his perception as a person and participant in the interview showed that most of the participants in the experiment know Tatiana Meiko and assess her as a creative person, open to positive communication, capable of emotionally influencing the recipient. The theory of regularity makes it possible to reveal the individual author’s peculiarities of the communicative style of the writer’s public linguistic personality, to identify communication strategies characteristic of it, as well as various means and methods of effective influence on the addressee. Here is an example of literature addressed to readers who have only just begun to form their literary taste, and representing a kind of encyclopedia of the funny, not using extreme forms (sarcasm, satire), activating the ability to catch subtle, implicit shades of the comic, contributing to the expansion of cultural horizons and the development of logical thinking. The use of the original narration and the “text within the text” technique allow A. Aleksin to create a story literally overflowing with various kinds and techniques of the comic: from puns and incorrect word usage to parody and gentle irony, while the author never humiliates his characters, on the contrary, he makes readers sympathize with the selfless, well-read and inquisitive children, who treat their parents, teachers, and each other with respect and love. Texts of this kind, aimed at attentive readers with a fairly broad historical and literary outlook, encourage reading, activate the reader’s attention, and introduce various literary techniques. The genre of a humorous detective story in a children’s story turned out to be possible due to the fact that A. Aleksin adheres to strict rules characteristic of humorous literature: there is nothing really shocking, terrible and compassionate in his story, thanks to which the element of humor turns out to be justified and is not replaced by pity. At the same time, the plot of the detective story is motivated by the psychology of the young heroes, and their actions and deeds correspond to ideas about morality and ethics. | 6777 | The article is devoted to the study of the cognitive theory of metaphor and provides the teacher with tools for a deeper theoretical understanding of the teaching process, as well as for a more accurate use of linguocultural methods in explaining a topic. The aim of the article is to investigate the methodological area of teaching Russian as the foreign language using the concepts of metaphor and frame. The tasks of the article are to determine the main concepts of the theory of cognitive metaphor in the beginning of the XXI century and to support didactic knowledge. Metaphorical lexicon is described as a linguodidactic resource of teaching Russian as the foreign language competencies. The article discusses methods of working with linguistic and text metaphors, which take into account analytical (the process of interaction between the original and figurative meaning) and synthetic (text-forming function – the ability to generate associative-derivative connections within the boundaries of the text). The search and interpretation of key metaphorical images helps students build a model of the text in its figurative and semantic deployment. When students understand the specifics of the metaphorical conceptualization of a text, they perceive it not only from the point of view of eventfulness, but also in its value-semantic embodiment. A special role in this process is given to frame analysis, with the help of which “nodal” moments in the text are determined: subjectspecific fragments are highlighted and connections are established between them, which generally helps to optimize the communicative competence of students, the transition from the impulse inherent in the task to communication and generating your own text. Based on the material of the historical and philosophical work of N. Ilyina “The Expulsion of the Normans. The next task of Russian historical science” examines the possibilities of frame analysis within the framework of the linguocultural approach. We assume that the text, rich in metaphorical images, cultural and historical references and mythopoetic ancient Slavic symbolism, will arouse students’ interest not only for its content, but also for the ways of working with metaphors in which its conceptual content is revealed. | 6778 | The main questions posed by the author in the article are a study of the degree of the presence of our national poet’s work on foreign online methodological resources and an analysis of the specifics of students’ work with educational sites and platforms where the legacy of Alexander Pushkin is considered. The analysis of electronic methodological materials focuses on the Anglo-Saxon tradition of studying the work of A.S. Pushkin, in which the main body of the studied works of the writer is his prose. The specific approaches implemented on educational platforms are the dominance of historical and social “explanations” of A.S. Pushkin’s works; the constant comparison of Pushkin’s plots with their interpretations in other forms of art; the analysis of the writer’s stylistics as a source of artistic search of modern writers. Digital scenarios of lessons on the work of A.S. Pushkin allow us to identify typical methods of studying it at the secondary school level. First of all, they should include the technique of substantial transformation of a literary text, as an example: the lesson does not study the novel in verse “Eugene Onegin”, but the Stuttgart ballet “Onegin”. A systematic method of studying the work of A.S. Pushkin is also a functional retelling of Pushkin’s prose text. Being a simplified technique within the framework of the Russian high school methodology, in the Western tradition, retelling when studying a foreign classic writer in high school is considered as a necessary element of bringing the realities of Russian artistic culture of the nineteenth century closer to the modern student. In cases where Pushkin’s lyrics are analyzed in the lesson, the main product of the lesson is creative writing by students, namely: when studying Pushkin’s poetic heritage, students create their own poem in prose, using Pushkin’s text as a model. Western approaches to the study of A.S. Pushkin, reflected in online methodological materials, systematically rely on the study of interpretations of his texts in other forms of art, on the study of the “secondary” artistic product generated by the writer’s works. And we are talking not only about the famous “ Imitations of the Koran” by A. S. Pushkin or the Caucasian poems by M. Y. Lermontov, but also about the work of their contemporaries, among whom V. K. Kuhelbecker, Ya. N. Polonsky, L. A. Yakubovich, A. G. Rotchev, A. F. Veltman should be singled out, D. P. Oznobishin and many others who played an equally significant role in the process of mastering foreign artistic images. Their artistic heritage is an interesting material for observations on the dialectic of national and foreign in the framework of the Russian-Eastern literary and cultural dialogue. In this regard, the Quranic motifs of the Russian poet, writer and translator Dmitry Petrovich Oznobishin (1804–1877), whose orientalism, which was mostly philosophical and contemplative, is still poorly studied, are of undoubted interest. We distinguish seven Quranic motives: the motive of prayer, the motive of an oath, the motive of repentance, the motive of Quranic verses, motives associated with Muslim customs and with the procession of the Sharia court, the motive of Quranic traditions and the motive of Quranic eschatology. The main content of the article is the identification of the features of these motifs on the example of the collection “Arabesques, or Collection of Oriental stories” by D. P. Oznobishin, which includes ten works: “Visitation” (Oriental novel), “Ideal” (Oriental novel), “The Rivalry of Six Slaves” (Oriental novel), “Dispute” (Oriental novel), as well as arrangements of the makama (novella) by Abu Mohammed al-Hariri (1054–1122) “Caravan”, “Desire” (Arabic novella), “Love”, “Thief”, “Reconciliation” and “Gold Coin” (Dinari makama). The analysis of the Quranic motifs found in a number of Oznobishin’s novels allows us to state with confidence that the Russian poet, who turned to this topic, tried to present his own idea of the most important issues of being through the comprehension of another, previously unfamiliar to him, religious philosophy. | 6780 | The development of innovative systems for processing and providing information is inseparably linked with the emergence of new vocabulary in any language. The digital environment or cyberspace has recently become the most productive area for the formation of new vocabulary. Blending is one of the most effective ways of word formation in cyberspace, and the mass media are considered as a fast channel for the penetration of this new vocabulary into language. French newspapers aimed at a wide readership served us as the material for the study. The empirical base of the study was formed by using the means of random sampling. The study of lexical units was carried out within limits of telescoped words with the “cyber” element. The etymological analysis of the “cyber” element of the new French telescoped units proved its origin from the English semantic neologism “cybernetics”, which comes from the Greek word “kybernetike”. The study of telescoped words bylexical meanings, morphological features and grammatical categories made it possible to develop six models of blend words. The first model of telescoped units is the most widespread in the language of modern French journalism. It is based on combination of two nouns. The first noun contains the element “cyber” in the initial position with the truncation of the second element of the word, and the second noun is represented by the full form. The category of the genre of newly formed blend words depends on the second component. In this case the genre depends on the noun represented in its full form. The second model includes telescoped words formed from three nouns, with the truncation of the second elements of each component. The “cyber” element occupies the middle position. The third model of telescoped units combines two nouns followed by truncation of the second element for each word. The “cyber” element is in the initial position. The fourth model is characterized by the blending of two nouns with truncated final elements. “Cyber” element is situated in the initial position of the second component. The fifth model is formed by nouns, the first part of which contains the initial element “cyber”, and the second one is represented by a word borrowed from another language. The sixth model of telescoped words was formed by combining the noun with the element “cyber” in the initial position and the past participle. The telescoped units represented by the attribute expressed by the past participle are formed as a result of the combination of these words. | 6781 | The article examines translations of Yevgeny Yevtushenko’s poem “Babi Yar” into English in seven anthologies published from 1962 to 2008. The relevance of the study is determined by both the high interest of Western readers, publishers and translators in the novelty and brightness of the artistic form of the poem in combination with the unusual theme for a Soviet author (exposing anti-Semitism in the Soviet Union) and the importance of studying the special possibilities of the type of examined publications (anthologies) in terms of creating an image of a foreign author and work, as well as influencing its perception by the reader. The majority of English translations of the poem were published in the 1960s, close to the time of its writing; the republication of an earlier translation in 2008 testifies to the continuing interest in the poem. The aim of this study is to examine the translation reception of the poem “Babi Yar” in the English-speaking world, including translation strategies and approaches that influence reader’s perception. The objectives of the study were achieved through a comprehensive analysis of the material, including historical and cultural, comparative, motive and figurative and imagological methods and approaches. The corpus of English translations of the poem “Babi Yar” is identified. The features of English publishing strategies in relation to the poem are analyzed, including the attitude to Russia, its literature, culture and social processes, as well as to Russian poets and writers of the “thaw” period, indicated in paratextual elements (introduction, conclusion, articles about the author, publisher’s commentary). The description of the artistic and aesthetic properties of the original text of the poem “Babi Yar” is presented, a comparative analysis of the original poem and its translations into English is carried out. The artistic and aesthetic features of each translation are described, and different translators’ approaches to the translated material are revealed. Conclusions are made about the belonging of translations to a certain type (free translation, replacing the basic imagery; interlinear translation, aimed at maximum semantic correspondence to the original; equivalent translation, striving to comprehensively convey the artistic and aesthetic features of the original) and their possible influence on reader’s perception. | 6782 | The conceptual and terminological apparatus of modern cognitive linguistics requires clarification in terms of its relationship with textual (discursive) activity, in which the content and structure of the key concepts of cognitive linguistics are manifested. This is especially relevant in connection with the modern cognitive-discursive scientific paradigm, which is characterized by tendencies towards integration with related fields of knowledge, including psycholinguistics, text and discourse theory. The purpose of the article is to develop a model of the structure of the concept in terms of its connection with textual activity, and it based on the theory of archetypes by K.G. Jung and the theoretical basis of communicative stylistics of the text. The research material included scientific articles and monographs devoted to the history of the issue. The article uses the general scientific descriptive method and techniques of analysis, synthesis, comparison, generalization, classification and modeling. In considering the connection between the concept and textual activity, the theory and methodology of communicative stylistics of the text is used. Complex multi-layered and multi-level structure, cultural essence and field nature is common in the interpretation of the concept by researchers is the recognition of its mental nature. At the same time, modeling the structure of the concept requires clarification in terms of reflecting the universal and unique in it. Studying the concept model is especially important for primary and secondary textual activity, which reflects the concept and its components. Reliance on the theory of archetypes by K.G. Jung allows deeper understanding of the nature of the concept with an emphasis on the sphere of the collective unconscious and the theory of individualization, important for communication based on textual activity. The model of the structure of the concept from the point of view of the reflection of the universal and individual in it can be conditionally presented as a system of layers with the identification of the archetypal layer as the nuclear one. The concept model proposed by the author includes the nuclear zone, the near-nuclear, pre-nuclear and peripheral zones. The core zone of the concept is made up of an archetype, which is universal for most people; it is associated with the sphere of the unconscious, with “generational memory” and determines the remaining zones of the concept thanks to various associations assigned to the archetype. The adjacent zone includes associative, figurative and symbolic layers, stimulated by the corresponding nominee of the concept – the sign (signs) used in the discursive (textual) activity of the community. The pre-nuclear zone includes the subject and conceptual layers of the concept, associated with the process of awareness by the community and the individual of the features of the reality of the surrounding world or consciousness corresponding to the nominated concept. The value-evaluative layer (interpretative) is assigned to the peripheral zone of the concept, which reflects not only the connection with collective memory, but also the process of individualization based on a person’s personal linguistic and social experience. The use of the concept model proposed within the framework of communicative stylistics of the text allows us to specify the methodology of conceptual analysis from the point of view of differentiating the universal and the individual in the content and structure of the concept. This is important for the semantic interpretation of the content of both individual concepts verbalized in texts and for the conceptual structure of the text as a whole. Modeling a concept and studying its implementation in a text is of interest for cognitive linguistics, text theory and communicative stylistics. | 6783 | Contemporary linguistic research highlights the significance of cultural and sociolinguistic aspects in language study, making the analysis of lexical-phraseological means in Russian as a Foreign Language (RFL) textbooks particularly relevant. Examining how linguistic means shape the image of a Russian person allows for a deeper understanding of the interaction between linguistic structures and cultural representations. This article investigates how lexical-phraseological means are used in RFL textbooks to construct the image of a Russian person. The study uses text fragments from educational materials as the empirical basis for analysis. The empirical base was developed through lexical-phraseological analysis, which reveals how various linguistic units contribute to the construction of cultural and sociocultural concepts. The research employs content analysis and semantic study techniques to systematize and interpret phraseological and lexical units reflecting perceptions of a Russian person. The study identifies linguistic means characteristic of the examined texts, demonstrating both stereotypical and multifaceted images. Notably, the analysis supports the theoretical model concerning the influence of phraseological units on the perception of cultural stereotypes. Researchers note that phraseological constructions in textbooks not only convey information about cultural and sociocultural features but also shape cognitive schemas in learners, which can either promote a deeper understanding of cultural realities or reinforce simplified or distorted images. RFL textbooks address various aspects of Russian life, such as traditions, daily life, and social norms, allowing students to develop a more comprehensive understanding of native speakers. The results show that lexical-phraseological means in RFL textbooks serve not only to convey linguistic information but also to create cognitive and cultural constructs that shape foreign students’ perceptions of a Russian person. Therefore, the article demonstrates how theoretical approaches to analyzing linguistic means help reveal the mechanism of constructing the image of a Russian person in RFL textbooks, emphasizing the importance of lexical-phraseological constructions in cultural socialization and intercultural understanding. | 6784 | The shift in the focus of modern education from the formation of general educational competencies to the development of functional literacy is determined by one of the trends in the educational sphere. It seems possible to consider the phenomenon of linguocreativity as one of the parameters of functional literacy, since the communicative, activity and thinking components of this phenomenon are related to the general educational competence aimed at developing communicative skills and implying the ability to solve life problems in various fields of activity based on applied knowledge. The aim of the article is to define lexical, word-formation and grammatical means of implementing linguistic creativity in the oral and written speech of philology students and description of the parameters of the phenomenon of linguistic creativity in the aspect of functional literacy of future teachers of the Russian language. The study of contexts containing means of actualization of linguistic creativity includes the use of structural-semantic analysis, content analysis, the experimental method using the technology of diagnostics of verbal creativity developed by T.A. Gridina. The material of the study is contexts containing occasional vocabulary compiled by students of the Faculty of History and Philology of TSPU; materials of an online questionnaire; contexts with occasionalisms extracted by the method of continuous sampling from the NKRYA, the novel by D. Rubina «Babiy Veter» and the series of novels by J. Rowling about Harry Potter, poems by M. Lvov, A. Voznesensky, E. Yevtushenko. During the linguistic experiment it was established that the contexts created by the students in the conditions of a specific task are distinguished by a standardized nature, due to the presence of an external locus of control, a given model for word production and the conscious use of the technique of language play; expressiveness; the use of various (usual and nonusual) methods of word formation, among which the productive ones are contamination, hendiadys, substitution, suffixation, addition; the creation of unexpected combinations of linguistic means; the presence of different types of occasional vocabulary. The results of the conducted diagnostics of verbal creativity indicate that the participants of the experiment have developed the ability to produce the author’s occasionalism according to the prototype model, taking into account the contextual predeterminedness. A high percentage of coincidence of the reconstructed lexemes with the author’s is noted along with the production of their own occasionalisms (27 %). The ability of a native speaker to use linguistic means in the process of speech production and textual activity in word creation, while using non-usual methods of word production, realizing the associative and derivational potential of language units, supplementing the semantics of lexemes with new shades of meaning, is one of the indicators of the formation of the functional literacy of this speaker, which is related to the basic principles of linguocreativity. The criteria indicating a sufficient level of development of functional literacy in philology students, manifested in the ability for verbal creativity, are developed self-control of speech; a high level of development of linguistic reflection; readiness and need to use the capabilities of language in order to reduce the predictability of the text and enrich it with content; a tendency to transfer the ability to demonstrate linguistic creativity to free speech activity. Digitalization radically changes this process, not only working to strengthen it, but also producing the opposite effect. While much attention is focused on the positive gains of the so-called digital transformation in education as a strategic innovation and a fashionable trend, its negative impact is a much less attractive topic for researchers. The controversy about the digital society and digital education has already divided the teaching community into "digital romantics and tasters", "technocrats" and "alarmists". The purpose of the study is to understand the socio-cultural contradictions arising in the context of the digital transformation of all spheres of society, their connection with the contradictions of school education in Russia, caused by the discrepancy between the real (the socio-cultural context of citizen socialization) and the due (civil traditions of Russian society) in the context of digitalization. Identifying and understanding the socio-cultural contradictions that arise in the context of digital transformation of all spheres of society will allow the domestic education system to more clearly understand and record the boundaries and content of its own goal-setting in the context of global world challenges, the risks of digitalization associated with the simplification of the agenda, the substitution of the goal with the means of achieving it, turned into a “technological fetish”, which, ultimately, has a negative impact on traditional civic values. | 6787 | The linguistics of the text as a modern direction is able to reveal the archetypal essence of the storyline including the author's text. The texts of Somerset Maugham's short stories in this aspect are an example of the synergy of the author's plots and archetypal subtext, due to the semantic premise of the author himself as a "metamorphosis" of the plot. The subtext meaning of Maugham's plots is a manifestation of the immanence of the archetype, which, in our opinion, has a transcendental basis, but is transmitted as the Author's message to the Reader. The article is devoted to the description of the archetypal linguistic concept of "Mother" in the texts of Somerset Maugham's stories. The goal is achieved by solving several tasks: determining the logic of the Author's plot; describing speech portraits of heroes and characters from the point of view of ironic victimization of the plot (scenario); demonstrating the possibility of an axiological approach to the text. The methodological basis of the study are the cognitive and discourse analyses of the fiction along with the descriptive method. It turned out that in the texts of S. Maugham's stories it is possible to identify the binarity of the archetype "Mother" - "Mother" and "Stepmother". At the same time, the complexity of the Maugham's scenario is revealed when the so-called "Mother" in the process of narration "turns" into a "Stepmother", thereby revealing the category of ironic victimization of the plot (scenario). The article analyzes the texts of short stories: "Unconquered", "The Mother", "Louise". Keywords: the stories of S. Maugham, Author, Reader, ironic victimization, plot, archetype, archetypal concept of "Mother", metamorphosis, transcendence, immanence, scenario | 916 | |||||

This issue is considered from the perspective of axiological linguomethodology: love for the homeland, native language and native culture are defined as indisputable values, the idea of which must be formed and developed when teaching any foreign language in the context of the idea of a close relationship and equal importance of different linguacultures in the global multicultural space. Studying a foreign language in the context of their native linguaculture allows students to see the uniqueness and peculiarity of their native language and native culture, which helps to strengthen the feeling of attachment to their native country. In the list of tools that implement the tasks of civic education in classes on Russian as a foreign language, educational publications are highlighted. The material for consideration in this article are educational materials included in the educational and methodological complex "Vostok", developed specifically for Chinese students. The article analyzes the substantive features of didactic texts, as well as related exercises and tasks, and demonstrates their methodological resource for implementing educational and training tasks in their entirety. The exercises often include texts related to the history of China, its culture, traditions and holidays, containing information about famous people. This helps foreign students expand their knowledge of their country, its values and achievements, which helps to strengthen the sense of patriotism. At the same time, a tolerant and respectful attitude towards foreign linguacultures and their representatives, and the foreign language they are learning is formed. The use of these educational materials allows integrating language learning with the education of citizenship and patriotism, forming not only language skills, but also an understanding of the cultural and social context of the functioning of language in the life of society. In the process of studying Russian as a foreign language, students understand and perceive such values as friendship, respect, love for the fatherland, which helps to form patriotic sentiments. | 6789 | The author of this article analyzes the verbative synlexes – stable, composite units, which are the functional analogues of verbs and have the property of stylistic and expressive neutrality. The theoretical base of this study is the writings of linguists like Z.N. Levit, V.N. Teliya, G.I. Klimovskaya, E.N. Laguzova and others. Novelty of re search consists in choice of the source of the material – "Vershinino’s dictionary" in which an old-timer dialect of some villages in Tomsk region is recorded. Verbative synlexes are represented in this dictionary in status of phraseological units or illustrative material for the vocabulary entries. The author of this article identifies 353 verbative synlexes in the dictionary and – as a result of the analysis of them – makes the following conclusions: in Vershinino’s dialect speaking all-Russian verbative synlexes prevail. They are presented in their original form, or as dialect variants (phonetic, morphological); verbative synlexes in Vershinino’s dialect are formed by three main structural models: verb + noun in accusative case, verb + на + noun in accusative case, verb + в + noun in accusative case; in the formation of the verbative synlexes dialect speakers use numerous verbs, of which the most common are the verbs delat’/sdelat’/izdelat’, davat’/dat’, brat’/vzyat’ (for all-Russian synlexes) and the verbs khodit’, idti/ poiti, delat’/sdelat’ (for dialect units); verbative synlexes enter into relationships of synonymy and antonymy with each other. More often they are variants for each other; verbative synlexes are assigned to the various lexical and semantic groups and reflect different aspects of folk life; transformative potential of the verbative synlexes is implemented by using adjectives. According to the concept developed in the communicative stylistics of the text, this style is expressed in the communicative manifestation of the personality in various communication situations at the level of typical communicative roles, tactics and strategies, the choice of regulatory means and structures, attitudes towards communicative norms, orientation towards the addressee, preferences in the choice of speech genres. The purpose of the article is to identify the specifics of the communicative style of the writer’s creative media linguistic personality based on his speech behavior in the Telegram channel. The research material was the Telegram channel of the Russian writer Anna Matveeva (posts for 2024-2025). The study was carried out in line with communicative stylistics using the methods of discourse analysis, semantic-stylistic and contextual analysis. Anna Matveeva's linguistic personality is revealed in her personal Telegram channel as creative, emotional, passionate, open communicator. Various communication strategies are used in her blogs: self-presentation, creating a positive mood, understanding experience, informing, expert assessment. Various regulatory means and structures reveal the author’s image and create the impression of the writer as a bright public figure with a rich information thesaurus and an original worldview. The regulatory means that predominate are epithets, metaphors, irony, and hyperbole. The high-usage regulatory structures are the following: repetition, amplification, gradation, antithesis, stringing of rhetorical questions. Anna Matveeva acts in different communicative roles (as a blogger, writer, expert analyst). The author's tone of communication is confidential. The predominant type of speech is reasoning with elements of description. The involvement of subscribers in the life of the community can be assessed by the communicative effect on the addressee. Subscribers to the writer's Telegram channel are engaged in the active discussion, judging by their comments and assessments. Anna Matveeva presents herself as a bearer of elite speech culture, with a sense of humor, capable of objectively perceiving the world around her. Anna Matveeva's communicative style in the Telegram channel reflects her characteristics as a writer who creatively describes current events with the figurative perception of the surrounding world inherent to this type of linguistic personality. The results of the study are of interest for further analysis of the features of media communication of a writer as a linguistic personality and can be useful for media linguistics, linguopersonology, and stylistics. | 6791 | Contextual senses of a word with a landscape semantics reflect an individual world picture of the author. The word snow has a rich and diverse semantics in Russian poetry. The purpose of the article is to consider semantic and stylistic features of the image of snow in the poetry by a contemporary poet Tatiana Nikolaeva (1956–2021) based on analyzing lexical structure of a poetic text. Semantic and stylistic analysis is based on ideas of M.N. Kozhina (the concept of imaginative literary concretization) and N. S. Bolotnova (the concept of lexical structure of a poetic text). Description of textual syntagmatics and paradigmatics considers expressive means representing different levels, although the lexical level is recognized as the main one. Associative and verbal network of the text is studied in accordance with the author’s idea and the reader’s reception patterns. Each associative direction, as a contextual “group of associations with a common strategy” (A. P. Klimenko), creates a specific aspect of the image. Verses and poems of T.N. Nikolaeva’s first collection Where are you, the descendant of The First?..: The drama of love (2004) are material for semantic and stylistic analysis. The authors of the article selected 11 (from total 83) texts containing lexical representants of the image of snow, which were analyzed regarding their contextual syntagmatic and paradigmatic connections. In T. Nikolaeva’s poetry, snow is more a reflection of the heroine’s internal world than a landscape detail. Snow is not only a part of winter nature, but also of summer pictures and nature between seasons. There are three main aspects in associative and semantic development of the image of snow. They are united through the principle of gradation typical for T. Nikolaeva’s poetics. A dominating associative complex "snow element" includes the image of an intensive snowfall with chaotic nature tied to a symbolic topic of a lost way; this image also reflects expressive topics of passion and lost love. The second aspect of the image of snow is "snow nothingness", the cold of loss and emptiness. While in the first case various expressive means are emphasizing dynamic character of the image, in this case the central image is statics, absence of life. The third aspect of the image of snow is "divine snow": spiritual senses, a way to the higher light. Thus, the “snow triad” of T. Nikolaeva relates to her poetics of gradation and Christian worldview, in which a human is going through passions to God. | 6792 | The theory of intertextuality that arose among French poststructuralists and was initially used in the analysis of fiction, is now implemented to study the texts of other discourses, such as scientific, political, media and advertising discourses. The film discourse is no exception. The focus of this study is analysis of the intertext as one of the elements of the film text internal organization in the framework of the French film discourse. The purpose of the article is to identify the key features of the intertext as an element of the film text internal organization and to identify and systematize the functions that the intertext performs in the French film discourse. The research material was 250 modern French films from the period 2010-2024. In the course of the study we used a set of methods, especially the methods of theoretical analysis and generalization, the continuous sampling method, the methods of content and discourse analysis, and the descriptive analytical method were used. The results of the study made it possible to come to the following conclusions: considering intertext as elements of the text of one discourse that are present in the object of another discourse and taking into account the creative and multimodal format of film discourse, we identified real or artificial elements of other discourse types, in particular, advertising, artistic, media and Internet discourses presented in the film as the main object of film discourse. We classified these elements into real ones, i.e. belonging to the real world, and artificial ones that are specially created for functioning (fully, partially and as references) within the framework of the plot of a certain film production. This dual nature allows the intertext to act as an element of the film text internal organization. As main functions of the intertext in a film we defined integrative, plot-forming and imitating ones. Aesthetic and comic features are identified as additional functions of the intertext. The cases of using the film text itself, i.e. elements of other films, as an intertext in the construction of a new film production are considered separately. The prospects for further research lie in the field of studying the manifestation of intertext in film discourse, as well as considering the intertext nature and functions in other discourses. | 6793 | Тhe article is devoted to one of the relevant areas of philological science – the study of the onomasticon of an artistic work and its role in the semantic organization of the text. The work is based on the novel "The Violin of an Unknown Master" by N.S. Dashevskaya, a famous modern novelist working for children and teenagers. Her texts have repeatedly become winners of well-known literary competitions, including "Kniguru" (2013, 2014, 2015), "A New Children's Book" (2014), the Marshak Literary Award (2018), and others. The relevance of the research is due to the low level of study of N.S. Dashevskaya's work and, in particular, her approach to choosing proper names in her works. The purpose of the work is to analyze the onomastic space of a literary text as a means of embodying the author's idea. To achieve this goal, the descriptive-functional method, the hermeneutic approach based on the principles of dialogicity and integrity, as well as the method of specific literary criticism based on the works of D.S. Likhachev are used. Toponyms are identified and studied: astronyms, godonyms, ergonyms, homonyms, paronyms, anthroponyms and patronyms, biblionyms and poetonyms are considered, their place and functions in the text of the story are revealed. It is concluded that the onyms chosen by the author play a fundamental role in the realization of the author's idea, which is to connect the present with the past, embodied through music. With the help of biblionyms and poetonyms, the author reveals the inner world of the characters, their character and ideas about life, while toponyms make the world in which the characters live as realistic as possible, thereby fulfilling a world-modeling function. | 6794 | This article analyzes the formation of polysemy of the verb "to serve" from the point of view of the prototypical theory and compares the Russian word "to serve" with its Persian equivalents. The prototypical approach or prototype theory is a new approach to the phenomena of categorization, to the concept as a structure containing indications of which elements of the concept are prototypes. However, due to the polysemy of this verb in the Russian language, foreign students studying Russian as a non-native language make mistakes when using and translating this verb into Persian. To avoid such mistakes, one should first find the lexical-semantic variants of the word "to serve" in Russian and find suitable equivalents for these meanings. Thus, the purpose of the article is, firstly, to determine the lexicalsemantic variants of the word "to serve" using the prototypical approach and, secondly, to find equivalents for these meanings in the Persian language. To achieve this goal, having analyzed the explanatory dictionaries of S. I. Ozhegov, F.F. Ushakov and V.I. Dahl, three lexical-semantic variants were identified on the basis of the prototypical approach. In order to determine the frequency of the verb "to serve" and identify its equivalents in Persian, we considered four works of Russian classical literature of the 18th and 19th centuries, including the novels "War and Peace" by L.N. Tolstoy, "Crime and Punishment" by F.M. Dostoevsky, "Mother" by M. Gorky, and "The Master and Margarita" by M.A. Bulgakov. We found 156 sentences containing the verb "to serve" in its different lexical-semantic variants along with their translations into Persian. Statistical method was used to determine the frequency. The material was collected using the continuous sampling method. It was revealed that the lexical-semantic variant of the word "to serve": "to do something" is the most commonly used, while the lexical-semantic variant of this word: "to perform a church service" is used less frequently. | 6795 | X IS X is a compressed judgment construction with homographs of subject and nominal predicate, characteristic of repetitive speech. At first glance, the construction X IS X does not convey any new information and is a meaningless speech act. However, the choice of any speech form is purposeful, serves the purpose of meaning production and is a conscious strategic choice of the language user. Therefore, understanding the meaning of the construct X IS X cannot be derived from its literal meaning alone. Purpose – Based on the conceptual denotative meaning and associative information of lexical units, we try to explain the mechanism of meaning formation of this construction from the point of view of cognitive semantics, interpreting the subjective intentions and discursive meanings of the speaker and opening a new perspective for further research. The linguistic materials of the study are phrases with the construction X IS X from the National Corpus of the Russian Language. To investigate the semantic mechanism of the X IS X construction, we mainly use descriptive and interpretive methods. The polysemantic X in the X IS X construction has the characteristic meaning and contextual meaning of the utterance, and the pre-X provides preconditions and presuppositions for the association of the post-X in the additional attributive meaning, which saves the listener’s time and effort to process the information that is assumed by the ideal cognitive model and context. We can also say that there are three focuses in the instruction X IS X: the syntactic representational focus is the post-X, the semantic focus is the associative information of X, i.e., the additional attributive meaning, and the main focus is the specific connotation in the additional attributive meaning. The ideal cognitive model is the basis for the formation of the additional meaning of X, and the cognitive context plays an important role in identifying and selecting the manifestation and reception of the additional meaning of X. The selected attributive features become the focus of discourse and have a marking character, expressing the speaker’s subjective intention and discursive meaning. The interpretation of the meaning of the structure X IS X is based on the conceptual denotative meaning of discourse, activating the associative information of lexical units in the cooperation of the ideal cognitive model and cognitive contexts, addressing the features of the present in the meaning of additional attributes, and then deriving the rich discursive meaning of the structure. | 6796 | This article investigates the confrontational communicative threat tactics in Nancy Pelosi’s public speeches and interviews who was the Speaker of the US House of Representatives, from 2019 to 2023. In the context of increasing political polarization and the growing mediatization of power, the speech practices of leaders have become a strategic tool of influence aimed at opponents, allies, and the mass audience. In this framework, a threat is not merely an expression of aggression but an institutionally legitimized speech act combining the functions of warning, pressure, and mobilization. The theoretical foundation of the study is based on the principles of speech act theory, the concept of face-threatening acts, and the theory of the institutional legitimization of speech strategies. The research material consisted of 33 public speeches and interviews by Nancy Pelosi, published as press releases and television interviews. The methods of discourse analysis, conteny analysis, and contextual and linguistic-stylistic analysis were applied. The results show that the threat tactics is a systematic element of Pelosi’s political rhetoric, aimed at strengthening her institutional authority and consolidating the electorate. The texts revealed 134 quotes containing threats, where 43 quotes (32 %) were explicit and 91 quotes (68 %) were implicit. Explicit threats are implemented through modal verbs of obligation (will, must, shall), vocabulary of sanctions (punish, sanction, hold accountable), directive constructions, and metaphors of retribution (price to pay, train coming after you). Implicit threats are expressed through conditional constructions (if…then), negative forms (we cannot allow), institutional references, and morally evaluative vocabulary (undermines our democracy, endangers our Constitution). It is concluded that the predominance of implicit threats reflects a strategy of “democratic deterrence”, typical for Nancy Pelosi’s speech. This strategy combines decisiveness and legal rigor with rhetorical politeness and democratic correctness, allowing to use the threat as a a tool of institutional pressure, moral leadership, and maintaining political balance in the context of confrontational communication. | 6797 | The article provides a comparative analysis of Russian syntactic derivatives formed from adjectives with color semantics and their analogues in the Persian language. The study focuses on twelve basic color terms that are accepted in Russian and Persian languages, such as: white ( سفید sefid), black ( سیاه siyāh), yellow ( زرد zard), red ( قرمز qermez, سرخ sorx), green ( سبز sabz), purple ( بنفش banafš), pink ( صورتی surati), orange ( نارنجی nārenji), blue ( آبی ābi), light blue ( نیلگون nilgun), gray ( خاکستری xākestari) and brown ( قهوه ای qahve’i) (as defined by B. Berlin and P. Kay). The article explores the structural and semantic similarities and differences between these deadjectival derivatives in Russian and their equivalents in Persian. The theoretical part of the article presents the views of some of the most prominent Russian and Iranian scholars, linguists, and researchers who have contributed to the study of this topic. The purpose of this study is to assist Russian and Iranian students in overcoming the difficulties they encounter when translating these derivative words. During the research, a descriptive approach to linguistic analysis was employed, including the observation and comparison of linguistic data obtained from the National Corpus of the Russian Language (NCRL). As a result of the analysis, it was revealed that Russian deadjectival nouns representing color are characterized by two meanings: abstract and objectified, while Persian ones also have the meaning of infinitives. The article offers recommendations for the correct translation of these derivative words. The findings of this research can be utilized in research and translation efforts, as well as for clarifying the meanings of Russian deadjectival derivatives denoting color in both Russian-Persian and Persian-Russian bilingual dictionaries. In addition, the findings can be beneficial for enhancing online dictionary databases and enhancing the accuracy of neural machine translation. However, it should be noted that this issue has not been thoroughly investigated and requires further study. | 6798 | The poetic word is unique because it performs not only an informative function, but also an aesthetic one, associated with the impact on the personality of the addressee. According to philosophers and linguists, the language of culture and art is a tool for transmitting social, religious and political changes in society. This must be taken into account when analyzing the poetic picture of the world of famous masters of artistic words. Insufficient development of megaconcept notion in the conceptual and terminological apparatus of cognitive linguistics, poetics, stylistics determines the need to develop it taking into account not only the scientific, but also the general literary and historical context of the era. The purpose of the article is to analyze the regulatory means used by M.I. Tsvetaeva to implement the mega-concept "woman", associated with the images of the author’s lyrical heroines, acting in certain role models of behavior, relevant for the end of the 19th – beginning of the 20th century in Russia. The article analyzes poetic texts by M.I. Tsvetaeva of different years, which present role models of behavior of lyrical heroines, reflecting different facets of the mega-concept "woman". The work is based on the theory of regulatory communicative stylistics of the text, the use of methods of semantic-stylistic, motivational, contextual analysis and the "word-image" method. The mega-concept "woman" is presented in the study as a complex multifaceted cognitive structure and a reflection of the linguacultural trend in the general context of the late 19th – early 20th century in Russia. This stage in the country's history is characterized by changes in public consciousness: collectivism gives way to individualism, there is a rethinking of ideas about man and his role in the world, which has generated interest in gender differences, and new role models of women's behavior appear, causing public resonance. These tendencies received artistic realization in the poetic picture of the world of M.I. Tsvetaeva. The images of M. Tsvetaeva's lyrical heroines are considered as a reflection of different models of women's behavior that are relevant for this period in Russian history: 1) the role model of a woman who does not have the right to vote; 2) the model of a woman-creator; 3) the model of a loving woman; 4) the model of a mother. A wide range of various regulatory means and structures of different levels used by the author to influence the addressee and reveal the multifaceted essence of the mega-concept "woman" has been identified. The most common among them are: epithets, metaphors, rhetorical questions, exclamations, addresses, graphic means; stylistic devices of repetition, contrast, gradation, syntactic parallelism, etc. The interpretation of the mega-concept as a multifaceted cognitive structure and reflection of the linguacultural trend in the world view of society in a certain period of its development allows us to take a new look at the image of a woman in the broad literary and historical context of the era, based on different role models of behavior of M.I. Tsvetaeva’s lyrical heroines. The obtained results may be of interest for linguapersonology, cognitive linguistics, and communicative text stylistics. Keywords: M.I. The purpose of the study is to identify the possibilities of the cognizable linguaculture and authentic language environment, along with the empirical experience of direct involvement in a foreign cultural reality, to promote the transformation of ethnocultural stereotypes in the consciousness of a secondary linguistic personality. One of these stereotypes is the traditional stereotype of the Siberian winter as generally uncomfortable - severe, long, cold and snowy. The main method of the study was an associative experiment. In the work, when processing the results, the method of modeling and scientific description was also used. To collect empirical material, the observation method, associative experiment and survey method were used. According to the results of the associative experiment, all recipients called the winter cold or frosty. The core part contains associations beautiful, long, snowy, white, severe, windy, slippery. The following verbal associates are noteworthy: mysterious, strange, amazing, wonderful experience of the power of nature, strong, which detail the semantics and expand the axiological image of winter. Secondary linguaculture and environment influence the transformation of this stereotype depending on the time spent in a foreign country, as well as the personality type. Dividing the participants in the experiment into two groups depending on whether they were familiar with the winter climate or not did not yield significant results. About half of the participants have a negative attitude towards winter, the other half are positive or neutral. None of the foreigners like the cold long winter. But for those who have not seen snow before, this natural phenomenon arouses interest and admiration. As a result, the nuances of the stereotype, its semantic deepening, as well as the similarity of ideas about the advantages and disadvantages of winter with the perception of the inhabitants of Siberia, in particular, the authors of this article, become noticeable. Thus, the hypothesis of this study about the formation in the public consciousness of foreigners of a persistent flat stereotype about the exclusively uncomfortable Russian and Siberian winter was not confirmed. As a result, it was shown that the flat onedimensional stereotype is transformed into a full-fledged concept of the perceived culture, the verbal associates associated with the Siberian winter are practically no different from the ideas of the Siberians themselves, on the contrary, they are approaching them, there is a gradual enrichment, detailing of the semantics and axiology of the image of winter.
