Nikolaeva N.A. EUROPE AND THE CAUCASUS: CULTURAL AND HISTORICAL PARALLELS. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2011. Issue 11 (113). P. 83-86

In author’s opinion on the ancient history of the Northwestern and central Northern Caucasus was closely linked with Indo-European migrations from Central Europe in the second half of the 3rd – beginning of the 2nd centuries B.C. The first migrants to this region consisted of the mixed groups of Indo-Europeans and non-Indo-Europeans that can be corresponded to the Tocharians (Afanasievo culture) and formed pre-Maikop cultural horizon with the horse-head scepters. The second stream of the European population that reached the Caucasus included the “Ancient Europeans” (AE – ancestors of the Slavs, the Germans, the Balts, the Celts, the Italics), and the Anatolians as well. The dolmens under the barrows in the Northwestern Caucasus were left by them. The archaeological equivalents of AE groups settled in the central part of the Northern Caucasus are the kurgan burials of the Kuban-Terek culture that dated from 3rd -2nd centuries BC. Thus the history of the Ancient Caucasus in 3rd century B.C can be regarded as a part of the IndoEuropean history of Europe.

Some time ago the authors proposed a new approach to self-dual electrodynamics and its superextensions, based on introducing auxiliary (super)fields which ensure linearization of the duality transformations. In the talk this universal method is applied for analysis of the self-duality properties of the N = 2 Born-Infeld (BI) action with the nonlinearly realized “hidden” N = 4 supersymmetry. Its self-duality is proved up to the 10th order in the superfield strengths. The conjecture about the general structure of the N = 2 BI action modified by the auxiliary chiral superfields is put forward.

The article deals with the usage of teaching tests at the different stages of studying English by medical students to prepare for control testing. We compared the results of control testing received by the students using training test with those of students not using them. We investigated three kinds of tests: thematic, intermediate and final. Statistical parameters of tests meet the classical criteria. To analyze the impact of training test in detail, we compared the results of students according to their initial level of knowledge. It was shown that training tests influence positively the effectiveness of teaching. The results of investigation were confirmed statistically.

At present, some of the trends that determine the features of a modern school can be observed. The decreasing from year to year population quantity and density in the greater part of subjects of the Russian Federation, long distances between cities and a low degree of infrastructure development are the causes for a significant increase in the number of ungraded schools in rural areas as well as in cities. In the most regional educational systems, the number of small-scale and ungraded educational institutions ranges from 30 percent in densely populated areas and 80 percent in regions of Siberia, Far East and North.

The article points to analysis of regulative potential of media texts in the genre of the article and interview of two informational and media language personalities: a writer and editor-in-chief of “Literaturnaya gazeta” Y. The comparative study in their discursive practices of media texts of different genres allowed to define some typical (constant) and variable signs defining regulative potential and communicative effect of reviewed articles and interviews. Defines the dependence of regulative potential of the reviewed media texts on the author’s means of regulativity and some extra linguistic factors including genre specificity of the textual activity. Reveales some typical and individual peculiarities of language personalities, which expose regulative potential of media texts in the genre of article and interview subject to reader’s comments.

This work develops the statements of works [1–3]. Author’s experience of teaching disciplines for the students studying in the direction of training «Applied informatics» is generalized. Some questions of techniques of teaching discipline «Document science and documentary ensuring management» are considered. The main directions of further research are considered. They consist in highlighting the activation of interdisciplinary links between disciplines aimed at forming the professional competencies of students. It is planned to continue modernization of the developed materials of the electronic courses intended for support of independent work of students in the study of disciplines. It is important to develop tasks for independent work which would promote increase in interest of students in studying of materials of the discipline. In addition, we are developing the funds of evaluation tools in the form of test questions, questions for credit. It is concluded that the use of e-course materials contributes to the formation of professional competence of future graduates. Further goals on educational system development are also discussed. We are going to continue developing electronic educational materials, reference books and seminars. These materials will be used for the formation of professional competence of students who are training in the direction of «Applied Informatics». The article presents the results of using the developed methodological materials. Besides, the results of testing of students in the section «Document and System of Documentation» are analized.

This paper is dedication to scientific examination of two his¬torical versions of origin of Russian surnames: official (non-ancestral) and informal (public, ancestral). Population-anthroponimic analysis as a scientific - research method was selected. So-called hypothesis of pro-portional representation, which the-oretically has to be performed in the case of justice of official version, has been controlled. Before, on the example of 12000 graduates Siberian Medical Univer-sity has been tested and showed, that in 25 % called hypothesis isn't performed, and it proves an-cestral (public) version of many Russian surnames These investigations were held with the use of 10000 graduates of Tomsk State Pedagogical University. The results prove the made above conclu-sions at a great extent.

This paper is aimed to outline the semantic principles of classification of abstract nouns and point out the major groups of nouns within this class. In linguistic literature the problem of taxonomy of nouns is still under discussion. The criteria of assigning nouns to either abstract or concrete are not well-defined and theoretically grounded. Most classifications of nouns are not satisfactory in the case of Khanty. Those concepts that are not represented in language by means of nouns have specific objectifications which are contrasted in this article with those ones in Navajo.

There have been analyzed the materials of the whole year round calculation of birds which were carried out within the limits of the administrative territory of the town of Lesosibirsk in Krasnoyarsk region from 2002 to 2005 (years) in four locations. With the help of classification of the regulated objects there were exposed the season periods of bird population in each location according to years and on the average for each location during all years of observation. According to the results of their comparison 7 general periods are determined and it is given their short quantitative characteristics. It is ascertained that according to years the number of seasons is more stable in taiga forests and in built up locations

Introduction. The study of the lyrical plot of the work “For the Jubilee” [Yubileynoye] carried out for the first time helps to understand the work as a poem, finds in its basis the dynamics of overcoming of the hardest sincere condition of the hero in the course of an imaginary night dialogue with Pushkin in front of his monument on Tverskoy boulevard. The purposes of the study are defined by the necessity of finding the internal co-ordinates of self-identification of the hero – the main lines of the lyrical plot, motives defining them, changes of impulses-themes in the monologue, as well as the components and devices of the comical. The methodology of the study is defined by a complex of historical-genetic, historical-functional, and comparativehistorical methods, descriptive poetics, and poetics of non-classical art. Results and discussion. The basic results of the work are connected to the overcoming the tradition of Russian study of Mayakovsky’s works to place “For the Jubilee” among numerous poems-“conversations” of the poet, to distinguish it only in the connection with the certain event – the 125th anniversary of Pushkin’s birthday. New prospects of the research are opened taking into account that “For the Jubilee” was created in the direct time affinity to poems “About That” [Pro eto] and “Vladimir Ilyich Lenin”, with the important topic of metaphorical or real death, the problem of immortality and the lyrical hero overcoming boundaries of real space and time in his mental searches. As other bases of research, the transformations of components of the ancient plot of vision, the connotation of Pushkin’s works and signs of his destiny are examined, which are perceived by Mayakovsky-hero as remarks of the great poetpredecessor in the mental dialogue with him. Conclusion. The analysis of poetics of “For the Jubilee” shows the specific author’s use of a set of speech devices of the comical in self-characteristics. The comical accompanies the expression of the serious, the sharply dramatic in the destiny of the poem’s hero and acts as a function to overcome mental anguish, to return to life in its joyful creative modus.

The author is examining the literary material starting from the poem «Panmongolism» byV. Solovjevuptothe novel «Chapaev and the Emptiness» by V. Pelevin. In the eschatological variant of the myth the author discov¬ers the motives of the invasion of the Mongolian multi¬tudes into Russia as a part of Europe and their participa¬tion in the apocalyptical Christian plot. In another variant of the myth which is closer to the literature plot the hero is either escaping, or traveling, or is made to go to Mon¬golia, and Mongolia turns out to be either the domain of death, or the hero perishes or changes his status being subjected to the initiation. The Mongolian myth is widen¬ing to the Pan Mongolian one and in this way is being built into the Asian myth of Russia.

Psychologists differentiate between consciousness and realization while in legal practice they are considered to be the similar notions. Social integration of visually impaired people in the community is a complex and time-consuming task, especially with regard to children and adolescents. Resolving of this issue involves complex innovative research, bringing together medical, social, educational workers, specialists in adaptive physical culture and sport, recreation and so on. The importance of adaptive physical culture and adaptive sports for adolescents with different degrees of visual pathology and visual impairment can not be overstated. As it is known, in recent years the Paralympic Movement, in which people with different visual impairments can take part in sports competitions, has been actively developing. Goalball, as Paralympic sport is as accessible as possible for persons with severe pathology of eyesight, regardless of age and gender. Goalball Sport can be included in comprehensive rehabilitation of children and adolescents with visual deprivation.

N. Otsup, Russian poet of the first wave of emigration lived abroad for 34 years. He lived in France, but his heart belonged to Italy. His first poem, dedicated to Italy, appeared in the book “In the smoke” (1926). N. Otsup was hoping to see a country of great culture, but found the country of philistines. Gradually his negative impressions were replaced by descriptions of the aesthetic space of Italy, largely due to meeting with his future wife. In N. Otsup’s lyrics Italian motifs are closely intertwined with motives of love and faith, as the wife has brought him to God. The poem “Meeting” (1928) was dedicated to the enlightenment of the lyrical hero. Italy is a prideful country, where the life passes slowly, and therefore the enlightenment comes not very soon. Italy took important place in the last N. Otsup’s poem “Diary in verse”. The poet dedicate it to his wife, which he compares with Dante Beatrice. Otsup describes the usual life of Italians, the idyll of rural Italy and also wrote with sadness about fascism. The poet joined Italian Resistance and fought for the country as for his second homeland. The article attempts to identify some problems affecting the results of the state attestation. Central to them, by right, is the final composition, since it, on the one hand, is aimed at testing general speech competencies, on the other hand, on the specific knowledge and skills of the graduate. The theme of the task is considered to be the reason for additional emotional experiences of the students. For the first time, according to the personal approach, handwriting is regarded as one of the conditions for the successful graduation of the graduates. The paper discusses the difficulties of transition from one type of state attestation to another and formulates some methodological aspects that contribute to their resolution. Particular attention is paid to the general emotional background, constantly created around the complexity of the final structural part of the control and measuring materials. The conducted experiment allows us to analyze the causes of errors made by students in the assignment fulfillment, to highlight their psychological and pedagogical aspects. Not only negative results are considered, but positive dynamics in training are also traced. The influence of the period of preparation for the Unified State Exam on the progress and success of students is traced. In conclusion we are talking about the need for different approaches to prepare students for the state attestation.

Experimental researches of stability to asphyxia at preimaginal stages of malarial mosquito Anopheles atroparvus are presented. In experiments of larvae and pupae of mosquitoes were in vessels with water without access to atmospheric air. The stability depends on concentration of the dissolved oxygen in water in different temperature conditions. At alternative concentration of oxygen in water two opposite tendencies of speed of destruction of preimaginal stages of development are fixed. At concentration of oxygen of 0 mg/l in three set modes of temperatures (15 °С; 23 °С; 30 °С) stability of individuals to an asphyxia from I age to pupae is increased. In the water sated with oxygen at initial concentration of oxygen of 7–8 mg/l, on the contrary – larvae of younger age differed the raised viability in comparison with individuals of advanced ages.

This article examines a partwork as a peripheral media genre and a product of mass culture which is functioning in the modern media system, the series «Dolls in Folk Costumes» is characterized according to the typology of partworks. The incentive, cognitive and didactic functions of this type of publication are described by the example of the «Dolls in Folk Costumes» partwork, as well as communicative strategies which are realized in the typography of the partwork. The authors pay particular attention to the verbal component of the communicative strategy aimed to create a complex image of the collection of dolls in folk costumes. It includes the image of the area, the image of the national culture and, finally, the image of the doll which can personify a representative of the people, a carrier of the national culture, and a resident of this area.
