| 4606 | Introduction. The article presents a communicative and pragmatic analysis of the doctor’s media communication in the social network. Aim and objective. The aim of the article is to identify and describe the ways to implement communication strategies in a media text created on the basis of the news story COVID-19. Material and methods. The material was the doctor’s posts about the coronavirus on Instagram. The analysis is carried out taking into account the compositional and semantic integrity of the levels of strategic verbal communication and polycode components in the media text. The methodology for analyzing strategic planning consists in identifying communicative strategies, determining their hierarchical ordering, describing the nomenclature and methods of linguistic representation of the tactics that implement them. Results and discussion. The media text about COVID-19 allows the doctor to solve several strategic tasks: creating a professional image, educating the mass address, forming the target audience of the blog. The main strategy is selfpresentation, implemented in communicative tactics of appeal to the profession (through the images of «I am a doctor», «I am an expert in the field of medicine», «We are the medical community»), actualization of dedication to the profession, demonstration of overcoming professional difficulties, the transmission of subjective information (through the images «I am a patient» and «I am a person»), as well as non-verbal methods (posting photos of doctors in the fight against COVID-19). The information and educational strategy in the texts about the coronavirus becomes auxiliary and contributes to the implementation of the strategy of self-presentation through the appeal to the tactics of definition, brief information, instructions, appeals to authoritative sources, recommendations, discrediting medical myths. It is found that the communicative success of these tactics is achieved when they are combined with selfpresenting ones, as well as with a certain sequence of their use in one media communication. An auxiliary strategy for engaging and retaining the addressee, performing dialogue and rhetorical functions, is implemented in parallel with self-presentation and informational and educational strategies at the level of media text composition by placing a topic and image referring to COVID-19 in the title; implementation of tactics for announcing a topical topic and appealing to the benefits of reading the text in the introduction of the text; using in the main part of the tactics of communicative rapprochement, linguistic originality and orientation towards linguistic fashion; as well as appeals in the conclusion to etiquette tactics and tactics of invitation to dialogue. Conclusion. As a result of the analysis, it was found that the implementation of the dominant strategies of medical media communication is carried out in parallel at different levels of the media text about the coronavirus, through the use of verbal and non-verbal tactics of persuasive and suggestive influence on the audience. The effectiveness of referring to the information occasion of COVID-19 as a strategic planning tool to achieve the main goal of the doctor’s media communication in the social network – creating a professional brand. | 4607 | Introduction. One of the pressing problems of modern preschool education is the mathematical education of children, which in turn is the foundation for the further development of mathematical training of preschoolers. This problem directly stems mainly from the lack of professional knowledge among educators and preschool education programs, in particular, developing cognitive interest in teaching mathematics to senior preschoolers. The aim of the research is to develop and test a program for the development of cognitive interest in children in the process of teaching mathematics in preschool institutions. Material and methods. To determine the level of development of cognitive interest in teaching mathematics in senior preschoolers, a set of diagnostic methods was selected: L. N. Prokhorov’s method for studying the attitude of children to cognitive activity; Yu. A. Afonkin’s methodology “Child in the classroom” for studying the behavior of children in the classroom with mathematical content; a survey of parents “Organization of cognitive activity of preschool children at home” was conducted to identify the degree of participation of parents in the cognitive activity of the child and maintaining his interest. The empirical base of the study was formed by taking a continuous sample in one of the preschool institutions in the city of Chistopol: the municipal budgetary preschool educational institution “Kindergarten of general developmental type No. 6 “Zhemchuzhinka”” of the Chistopol municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan. Results and discussion. The problem of developing cognitive interest in senior preschool children is a unique period of development of a child’s personality, since during this period children form an idea of the world around them, intensive physical and mental development occurs. One of the facets of its development is cognitive interest. During the experimental study, it was revealed: 1. A positive change in the mathematical development of children begins with their experience with real objects or objects that have quantitative or qualitative properties, such as different colors, sizes and shapes, when performing arithmetic or logical operations with numbers. 2. Teaching mathematics through games may appeal to preschoolers who find mathematics inaccessible and tedious. Learning through games helps children understand that understanding mathematical patterns and relationships can be a pleasant and motivating activity. Based on the analysis of the six-step theory of teaching mathematics by Zoltan Dienes, an experimental study was conducted on the development and testing of the psychological and pedagogical program “Magic Figures” for the development of cognitive interest in teaching mathematics to older preschoolers. In the course of conducting an experimental study to determine the level of development of cognitive interest in teaching mathematics to older preschoolers using a set of diagnostic techniques, we made the following conclusions: the program increased the motivation of children to participate in math classes; the program strengthens the students’ conviction of the need to study mathematics at preschool age; the program encourages students to take a responsible approach to their professional development; the program increases students’ confidence in learning mathematics; The program provides educators with appropriate tools and facilities for teaching mathematics in preschool institutions. Conclusion. In the course of the implementation of the psychological and pedagogical program “Magic Figures”, the development of cognitive interest in teaching mathematics among older preschoolers, there is a positive trend in the mathematical training of both educators and preschool children. Mathematical ability is an essential skill needed in everyday life. Keywords: mathematical training, educators, preschool education, cognitive interest | 1858 | |||||

| 4630 | Introduction. The article considers the relevance of the formation of a foreign-language ethnocultural competence of high school students as a process of becoming a patriotic representative of their country in intercultural communication. The purpose of the article is to identify the didactic potential of the ethnoculturema, which is important to use when forming the foreign language ethnocultural competence of high school students. Material and methods. Theoretical analysis allowed to clarify the concept of “ethnoculturema” as a unit of education in the formation of foreign language ethnocultural competence, to justify and describe its types. These include: lacunae (interlanguage lacunae or reality), cultural background vocabulary and nomena (objectification of a person’s name and a place name). The analysis and synthesis of the works of leading researchers on the problem of lacunarity allowed us to identify the groups of interlingual absolute lacunae, which are necessary in the formation of foreign ethnocultural competence. There are the examples for each group, as well as their possible translation and explanation in English. Results and discussion. The author analyzed the possibilities of ethnoculturemas possible elimination, their most adequate translation transferring ethnocultural meaning in English. In conclusion, it is claimed that using the mechanism of “parallel connection of external cultural designation” is necessary. The meaning of this mechanism is specified with the reference to ethnoculturema elimination. The most effective way to convey the meaning of the ethnoculturema is a two-component connection for the lacunae and nomena, and a three-component connection for the cultural-background vocabulary. The examples are given in English with a detailed analysis of the mechanisms of their translation and transmission of ethnocultural meaning. Conclusion. The article concludes with a summary of the research revealing the practical significance of the use of ethnoculturemas elimination in the formation of foreign language ethnocultural competence in senior secondary schools. | 4643 | The article considers individual aspect of time perception. Firstly, a brief theoretical review of problem studies goes. Depending on mood and activity, personal time proceeds either quickly or slowly and it can be either pleasant or not. Positive emotions bring a deceptive impression of a fast flow of time. Negative emotions, on the contrary, subjectively lengthen the time intervals. The practical part examines around 30 modern English set expressions denoting time as perceived by a person. The conclusion says that the perception of time as short/long or pleasant/unpleasant is expressed in speech through fixed collocations used by authors of modern fiction. Short time is described in dictionary English set expressions as “fun” and “it flies”. Long time “hangs heavily on one’s hands.” Unpleasant time is “bad, hard, dark, evil, rough, thin, lean and it is not one’s own. Pleasant time is “good, easy, the best of one’s life, the time of one’s life, high and there’s a lot of it”. Pleasant time “has its moments, it is one’s finest hour and it makes one’s day”. Fiction authors’ creative thinking depicts bad time as “poor, awful, dreadful, horrible, terrible, very uncomfortable, devil of a time and hell of a bloody time”. Pleasant time is “nice, lovely, great, excellent, delightful, smashing, terrific, fantastic, marvelous, riotous, and dead good”.
