| 4802 | The article contains the analysis of the images of toys in the works of Siberian writers of the beginning of the XXI: the story-tale “Princess Agashka in the Land of Unknown Animals” by S. K. Danilov, “Pegasus” by V. V. Shkalikov, “The Year of the Princess Bukashka” by Yu. S. Burkin. A toy, which has the oldest origin and combined ritual sacral, playful, psychological functions, is one of the classic images of children’s literature. All these properties are reflected in different ways in the works of the Siberian authors. In the story-tale by S. K. Danilov the old toys serve as assistants, guides, custodians of knowledge, as a mirror image of the inner world of Agashka, and also personify the state of abandonment and desolation, thereby contributing to the formation of important personal qualities of the main character. Old dolls, personifying true values (kindness, friendship, charity) are contrasted with Cindy dolls, symbolizing the values of the era of consumption. Overcoming the temptations associated with the problem of choosing life ideals, Agashka leaves the Playground of the Land of Unknown Beasts and goes to the real world with a personality. In the “Pegasus” by V. V. Shkalikov in the image of a wooden saltcellar are found the oldest solar images-symbols (winged horse, bird), which have important cultural and historical significance. The act of creating a toy made of natural material leads to the awakening and, in a literal sense, the revitalization of inanimate material, becomes the impetus for inducing heroes to search for the meaning of existence. In the cycle of stories by Yu. S. Burkin “The Year of the Princess Bukashka” the toys perform an important function of the amulet. In addition, references to classical children’s literature-works by L. Carroll, S. K. Lewis, A. N. Tolstoy, Sasha Tcherny, A. Barto, etc. are found in the works of Siberian authors. Keywords: S. K. | 4821 | Introduction. The study of discourse typology is one of the advanced research lines in communicative linguistics. Engineering communication is becoming a subject of increased focus for linguists due to its rapid development driven by dynamic changes in technology, society and industry, which is resulted in continuous exchange of information between the members of the engineering society. Despite the significant number of discourse studies in different social institutions, engineering discourse remains an understudied area as Russian researchers traditionally consider it as a part of the scientific or scientific and technical discourse. In view of the fact that discourse is translated into certain genres, and genres, in turn, are always included into a certain discourse field, authors propose the idea that the engineering discourse provides a series of particular core genres which reflect the values, strategy and information of engineering communication and make it distinct from the scientific discourse. The paper addresses the distinguishing characteristics in lexical organization of the technical standard to reveal the fact that the genre of standard meets the goals of engineering communication. Material and methods. As the empiric material of the research 184 pages of running Russian standards for the engineering technology and equipment were used. The texts of the standards were exploited as the subject matter for discourse analysis. Content analysis as a general research technique provided the identification of the quantitative aspect in the lexical structure of technical standards. The efficiency of this technique was proven by international schools of discourse analysis and by national researchers as well. Results and discussion. The analysis of the lexical structure of standards revealed the key discursive aspects of the studied genre, which identified the standard as a core genre of engineering discourse. Conclusion. As to performed analysis, the technical standard genre meets the primary goal of professional communication in the engineering field. The peculiar characteristics of the genre studied are determined by the demands of discourse and communicative situation as well. | 4822 | Introduction. The study of the lyrical plot of the work “For the Jubilee” [Yubileynoye] carried out for the first time helps to understand the work as a poem, finds in its basis the dynamics of overcoming of the hardest sincere condition of the hero in the course of an imaginary night dialogue with Pushkin in front of his monument on Tverskoy boulevard. The purposes of the study are defined by the necessity of finding the internal co-ordinates of self-identification of the hero – the main lines of the lyrical plot, motives defining them, changes of impulses-themes in the monologue, as well as the components and devices of the comical. The methodology of the study is defined by a complex of historical-genetic, historical-functional, and comparativehistorical methods, descriptive poetics, and poetics of non-classical art. Results and discussion. The basic results of the work are connected to the overcoming the tradition of Russian study of Mayakovsky’s works to place “For the Jubilee” among numerous poems-“conversations” of the poet, to distinguish it only in the connection with the certain event – the 125th anniversary of Pushkin’s birthday. New prospects of the research are opened taking into account that “For the Jubilee” was created in the direct time affinity to poems “About That” [Pro eto] and “Vladimir Ilyich Lenin”, with the important topic of metaphorical or real death, the problem of immortality and the lyrical hero overcoming boundaries of real space and time in his mental searches. As other bases of research, the transformations of components of the ancient plot of vision, the connotation of Pushkin’s works and signs of his destiny are examined, which are perceived by Mayakovsky-hero as remarks of the great poetpredecessor in the mental dialogue with him. Conclusion. The analysis of poetics of “For the Jubilee” shows the specific author’s use of a set of speech devices of the comical in self-characteristics. The comical accompanies the expression of the serious, the sharply dramatic in the destiny of the poem’s hero and acts as a function to overcome mental anguish, to return to life in its joyful creative modus. | 4823 | Introduction. Enriching vocabulary is one of the cross-cutting tasks of teaching the Russian language and one of the key factors in mastering the native language. A rich vocabulary plays an important role in the ability to communicate freely and effectively, to accurately and adequately express thoughts, and achieve understanding as the goal of communication. The completeness of the vocabulary in one way or another is associated with the full refraction in the speech activity of the individual of all functions of the language (communicative, cognitive, thought-forming, emotionally expressive, self-expressing, aesthetic, etc.). Purpose of the study ‒ to investigate the problem of enriching the vocabulary of secondary school students within the framework of the linguo-methodological approach and to offer practical options for its solution based on the use of gaming technologies in teaching the Russian language. Material and methods. In this paper, the problem of enriching the vocabulary of students is considered on the example of teaching the Russian language in the middle grades of a comprehensive school. Taking into account the psychological and pedagogical characteristics of adolescents, game technologies are used as an illustrative material. The research methodological base includes scientific description, modeling, pedagogical observation, analytical commentary. Results and discussion. The importance of the task of enriching vocabulary in educational activities in secondary school is due to the role of the lexical level of the language in communication, the intellectual development of the child and knowledge of the world, as well as the need to form and improve the competence base of students (in accordance with the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard). To solve the problem of expanding the vocabulary, it is important to take into account such specific features of the adolescent period as an increase in cognitive initiative, the transition to the cognitive nature of speech, activation and development of thinking, expanding the spectrum of interests and hobbies, strengthening communicative activity. In this regard, game technologies are named as key pedagogical technologies. In the game, memorizing words is supported by positive emotions, as the educational process becomes more exciting and interesting; there is an opportunity to work with vocabulary through images, emotions; you can successfully form the conditions for joint activities; a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere of the educational process is created. Conclusion. It is important to introduce the task of expanding the vocabulary in school education, because it is at this time that the replenishment of the thesaurus is effective both for the development of the level of language training and for the general development of students in secondary schools, the formation of a set of competencies, the ability to implement the universal educational actions prescribed by the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard. | 4824 | Speech as a multidimensional phenomenon still remains relevant in linguistics studies. It is known that verbal communication evolved later than non-verbal one, however, a multimodal approach to language communication modeling based on spontaneous dialogues is only gaining momentum in Russian linguistics studies. The aim of the article is to provide data on principles of verbal and non-verbal correlation at times of difficulty during the development of spoken discourse between two speakers, as well as to systematize them in the most frequent multimodal patterns. The material of the article is 16 video clips of spontaneous dialogues of Russian native speakers, the total timing is 1.5 hours. The annotated video materials are students’ spontaneous dialogic discourse. The topics of dialogues can be divided into two groups – communication between friends/colleagues and communication between the client and service staff. Each video clip is annotated in ELAN v.6.2. The presented results are based on general linguistic methods of description and comparison, as well as a method of analyzing a cognitive event. Analyzing cognitive events and providing statistics on the subject, we describe the main multimodal patterns, which have been classified by the frequent nature of some speech disfluencies and non-verbal response to them. Our study is based on the gestural repetition concept. As a result, the most common speech disfluencies have been identified and divided into five large blocks. Each of the blocks is accompanied by the main multimodal patterns, implemented in different channels – manual channel, gaze channel and cephalic channel. The number of speech disfluencies recorded at the external level directly depends on the topic and not always on the level of competence of the speakers, since all dialogues are improvised by students who only have presuppositions regarding the deployment of discourse depending on the given role. Speech disfluencies and the principles of their compensation in different multimodal channels depend on both internal (cognitive) and external factors (overlapping and interruptions), which represent an interpenetrating indivisible system.
