| 4862 | The article describes the activity of the Tomsk pioneer headquarters. It was a children’s self-governed organization, which was founded in 1969 by a prominent young pioneer leader and teacher Oleg Pirozhkov. The headquarters lasted till 1989 and achieved considerable success in training of young pioneer activists, who were able to overcome excessive formalities of “official” children’s movement. The headquarters also produced a great number of educational structures, which left their mark in the history of Tomsk society. Activist’s headquarters, formed of self-organization that were innovative to the Soviet period, were not aimed at ideological education of young people, now there is the reason why their practices are of great interest to the students, postgraduates, professors, scholars, young pioneer leaders, specialists in youth policy, teachers and the reading public. | 4867 | Expansion of professional communication, business talks with foreign partners, work with the technical documentation in a foreign language, the importance of the traineeships abroad require more use of foreign language in the training of future engineers. Therefore, the subject “Foreign Language” has a special place, because it should provide not only the language itself, but the country’s culture and language, and by comparison it may overshadow the peculiarities of national culture and acquaint with universal values. In other words, foreign language should contribute to the education of students enrolled in non-language majors, in the context of intercultural dialogue. This, in its turn requires knowledge of norms and traditions of communication of people-native speakers, that is all that is meant by communication behavior as part of the national culture. | 4870 | In this article we are discussing the issue of teacher training for vocational education system – a professional field that under present-day conditions is not limited to educational institutions. In the context of networking cooperation, employersponsored education and dual vocational training system, a person who trains future specialists to implement various types of professional activities can act as a career educator. Responsibilities of such an educator are, among others, to manage the process of an individual student’s professional development, to encourage their self-identification during the training and within their professional field, to help them find their own individual learning paths. Competencies required to perform such tasks cannot be formulated neither within the chosen field’s subject content, nor within a traditional pedagogical program. In present conditions we also see that the focus of a career educator’s job is shifting. In the traditional sense the job of an educator is focused on the learning process, with special attention paid to determining patterns in this process. The job of a career educator, however, is closely connected with types of professional activities for which students prepare during the course of non-university level higher education, vocational training, or supplementary vocational education. The specifics of this job determine the distinctive criteria needed when selecting content for career educator training programs. Consequently, established principles of creating the contents for “Vocational education (for different fields)” programs should be augmented with principles that reflect the specific content of educational activities. These principles must be carried out for both undergraduate and graduate programs. The principles for developing an educational program that we propose in this article are instrumental in selecting the content for a career educator training program, they reflect the specifics of the job, and they also take into account the challenges that educators face on the current stage of vocational training system development. Keywords: non-university level higher education, vocational training, career educator, principles of creating the contents for career educator training programs | 1440 | |||||
| 4871 | The article concerns the legal status of refugee children in the interwar period in the limitrophe states. It reflects material and legal status and is based on the data kept in the so called Prague Archive (the Russian Foreign Historical Archive), which is the part of the State Archive of the Russian Federation (SARF). The article includes the analytical data concerning the quantity of refugee children. The article considers not only social and legal status, but also moral condition of refugee children in the limitrophe states and includes common and particular cases of this. The research concerns also living conditions of adults and children in emigration, their complicated material and moral conditions, difficulties which children had to face (either the necessity to work at an early age and, as a result, the inability to attend school, or the employment of parents at work and the inability to educate a child, which ultimately led to disobedience and permissiveness), identifies the factors, which affected this and means of providing assistance to refugee children. The author pays attention to the difficulties, which children faced in emigration: hunger, need, mental and physical violence and denationalization. The author also points out the means of struggle against such a regime and means of providing support from the government and emigration organizations (material support, organization of various children “settlements”, summer children camps and refuges) and problems, which they faced while organizing all this work. The author also gives the comparative analyses of refugee children’s position in recipient countries and points out that children conditions were different according to the policy of the government towards Russian emigrants and economical situation inside every country. Moreover the direct dependence of legal and material status on economical situation inside the country is also pointed out in the research. | 4872 | Introduction. The paper is devoted to the oligarchy’s description as an axiologically marked phenomenon from the language point of view. The necessity to take into account the perception of oligarchy in other cultures, the analysis of the national peculiarities of the oligarchy representation in the language, the need for the comparative research make the study of the mentioned phenomenon up-to-date. Material and methods. Mass-media texts retrieved from the sub-corpus of the British national corpus (NOW corpus) serve as the material for the analysis. NOW corpus contains newspaper and magazine articles dated 2010-2018. Results and discussion. Collocation analysis of the term oligarchy in the British national corpus is carried out according to the following criteria: types, characteristic features, co-occurrence with other concepts, metaphoric conceptualization of the phenomenon under study. As the result of the analysis it is shown that oligarchy’s representation in the British mass-media discourse is determined by social and discursive peculiarities of a definite linguo-culture. Alongside with the universal features (the connection of oligarchy with a definite sphere of human activity) the English language possesses special terms for denoting this destructive phenomenon in this or that country. In examining the relation between oligarchy and other negative phenomena the latter is viewed not as different from the rest of the destructive things but as synonymous to them (corruption and oligarchy, despotism and oligarchy, imperialism and oligarchy). The metaphoric representation of oligarchy is not constituted by a wide range of features. The theoretical relevance of the research consists in the development of the mass-media discourse and axiological linguistics’ theory through the analysis of the ordinary definition of the term on the basis of newspapers and magazines. The applicability of the study consists in the possibility of using the results of the analysis while studying other axiologically marked phenomena in different cultures and through the prism of different time segments. Conclusion. The paper outlines possible prospects for research, including consideration of the interpretation of the phenomenon of oligarchy on the material of English discourse in the diachronic aspect, which will complement the results and identify those aspects of the presentation of the analyzed phenomenon that are not present in the representation of the oligarchy phenomenon in modern English. Keywords: oligarchy, British national corpus, mass-media discourse, destructive phenomenon, axiologically marked phenomenon | 1440 | |||||
| 4873 | Introduction. The paper deals with Language for Special Purposes Vocabulary Course Modern Teaching Methods. It limelights the integrative course with the multichannel teaching aids’ presentation and lines out its organization principles. This program is based on the auditive educational lectures’ course, built exclusively on the educational material of authentic lectures’ extracts. Lectures’ glossaries as a pattern for revising the main pronunciation difficulties at the same time introduce the discipline subject index. Totally it results in forming the compact multipurpose course, involving the spheres of Phonetics/Accentuation/Rhythmics/ in the aggregate with Lexicon/Grammar/Logic/Composing/Rhetoric/Sounding &Written text Analysis/Speech Development. As soon as each lecture’s task typology is vast and is reproduced repeatedly, students gain the possibility to see every object diversely in its totality and contradictions. The purpose of this article is not only to describe the integratively introduced knowledge, but to present a system of methods for working with knowledge in the flow of such educational course. Material and methods. The principle research method is the comparative analysis of hypothetical and real ways of uniting the different purposes and aims of the functional Russian as a Foreign Language course in a solid program. Results and discussion. It turned out that the purposes and aims of forming competences, being different in their nature, are compatible in the integral whole in the educational course. Such course can be based on listening as a type of speech activity. And it’s the diverse kinds of mental activity (extracting information from different non-homogenous sources, presented on different vehicles, phenomenae’ comparison, emphasizing the main item, making whole of an odd set, general and concrete problems’ formulating, enumerating the problem aspects) that forms a certain mentality type. And it is vital not only for those, specialized in “Philology: Linguistics: Literature Studies”. Conclusion. An integrative educational course is an integral system, simultaneously involving students in several kinds of mental and speech activity. Multichannel teaching aids presentation forms the communicative competence rapidly. Hence such courses contribute to intensifying Russian as a Foreign Language educational process. | 4876 | Nowadays, political communication uses a whole range of confrontational speech strategies and tactics aimed at discrediting opponents in an information war, as well as imposing their point of view and forming a certain public opinion regarding discredited objects. A confrontational strategy provides the speaker with the opportunity to express a negative attitude towards his opponent, hostility and willingness to enter into conflict to achieve his own goals, ignoring the goals and interests of the other side. A confrontational strategy involves retreat and even violation of moral and ethical norms. Confrontational speech strategies include strategies of submission and persuasion, discrediting. Each of the strategies is implemented using different speech tactics. In order to effectively counter the threats of negative information impact, it is necessary to identify the speech strategies and tactics used by the German Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz, which determines the relevance of the study. The purpose of the research is to study the confrontational strategies and tactics in O. Scholz’s speech, affecting a mass audience and aimed at discrediting both the image of Russia itself and Russian foreign policy. The source of the research material was Olaf Scholz’s keynote speech, which he delivered to the German Federal Government on February 27, 2022. This speech was the FGR reaction to the beginning of a special military operation by the Russian Federation. Descriptive and comparative methods along with contextual analysis techniques, as well as definitional, semantic analysis were used to achieve this goal. The article analyzes two confrontational strategies used by Olaf Scholz: discrediting, submission and persuasion. The discrediting strategy is used more often than the strategy of submission and persuasion. The following discrediting tactics have been identified: accusation, negative forecasting and polarization. The strategy of submission and persuasion is objectified with the help of threats and orders. Confrontational tactics act both autonomously (in isolation) and in combination with each other (combined). | 4898 | The article describes actual approaches to teaching Russian as a foreign language in China, formulated in the articles of the leading Chinese experts in this area. The review of the latest publications allowed to find out that most of the Chinese specialists in Russian philology, teachers and methodologists, write about the need of practice updating of language training. In particular, researchers note the strong influence of the Russian methodical innovations on the theory and methods of teaching Russian as a foreign language in China that is expressed in several features. Firstly, the levels of proficiency in Russian began to be considered in the aspect of formation of linguistic and communicative competence, but not only in a paradigm of knowledge in the field of vocabulary and grammar. Thereof it is necessary at the lessons to change a ratio of speech activity types, to focus on communicatively significant listening comprehension and speaking and to lower the load of the traditional grammatical focused forms of education. Secondly, in a translation practice from Russian to Chinese and vice versa it is necessary to develop skills of extensive reading, that is understanding and interpretation of the main information which is contained in the text, allocations of the text meaning and the authors idea. Thirdly, the training humanization which has to be shown in positive changes of the behavioral and emotional sphere of educational process is necessary, for example, it is important to induce to a dialogue and communicative interaction, the teachers should use new interactive or open methods of training. However the humanization, according to the Chinese researchers and methodologists, shouldn't significantly transform traditional directive and imperative model of training. Thus, the modern paradigm of training methods of Russian as foreign language in China assumes a harmonious combination of traditional approaches to teaching and new methods of training that more correspond to national and sociocultural peculiarities of the country.
