| 903 | Introduction. F. M. Dostoyevsky and L. N. Tolstoy’s views are often opposed to each other not so much owing to their multi-vector orientation how many on the religious and philosophical bases. But, in particular, their pedagogical views have more common ground, than it admits research works today, owing to lack of the reconstructed educational model belonging to F. M. Dostoyevsky. The purpose of the work is identification and analysis of the main dominants of pedagogical views of F. M. Dostoyevsky and L. N. Tolstoy by means of the comparative analysis. Material and methods. Among the methods of the study are: comparative, analytical-descriptive and biographical. Results and discussion. The conducted research allowed to reveal the fundamental idea of writers connected with the statement of the ideal and harmonious nature of the child, therefore, the paramount problem of education is represented not to destroy this personal kernel. Neither Dostoevsky nor Tolstoy perceives the formation of a personality structure as a self-sufficient and closed process. The internal potential of the child is realized through relationship with the outside world in situations of value choice which are shown at three levels: family, religion, society. The designated elements have different hierarchical interrelation in a pedagogical thought of writers. But the hierarchical structure which is based on these educational dominants is a fundamental element of an individual pedagogical system undergoing this personal reconsideration. Conclusion. Having carried out the comparative analysis of pedagogical concepts of education of Dostoyevsky and Tolstoy it is possible to note that views of writers, on the one hand, proceed from the principles of love, indisputable influence of “fathers” , belief in an ideal of terrestrial improvement of human nature, national values as indispensable condition for the formation of personality, and on the other hand, have the certain distinctions embodied in the forms of achievement of a pedagogical ideal, the unrepugnant child of natural harmony. The pedagogical ideas of two outstanding writers of the 19th century are a resource for the implementation of the content of education of the 2010s, in which, firstly, a person is proclaimed the supreme value; secondly, all principles and methods of education are aimed at the formation of a spiritual and moral personality by focusing on the activation of its creative activity, self-development, self-improvement; thirdly, the right of the child to individuality is recognized. This determines the practical significance of the article. Keywords: F. M. Dostoyevsky, L. N. | 909 | The phraseological meaning is a specific semantic category, characterized by an integral transference of meaning based fully or partially on the meanings of the components of the unit. This results in its complex structure which is of special scientific interest. The article focuses on the components of the phraseological meaning, states their specific features and correlation and offers the methodology of semantic analysis. It is a multistep process that considers all the constituents of the phraseological meaning: motivation, imagery component, inner form, denotative component, connotation and cultural component (studied by A. V. Kunin, V. N. Teliya, N. F. Alefirenko and others). The inner form reveals the way the phraseological meaning is formed and creates phraseological imagery. Motivation is a means of expressing the inner form. Metaphorical, metonymical or metaphtonymical transference of meaning forms the inner form of the unit. Phraseological semantics includes the grammatical meaning and the phraseological meaning proper. We single out several structural models of the latter, based on a number of combinations of the denotative macrocomponent (its identifying and characterizing parts) and stylistic, intensive, emotional and/or evaluative components of connotation. The cultural component can be a part of either denotation or connotation or both. The results can be applied in studying semantic peculiarities of different groups of phraseological units, with reference to their national specificity. The article uses the methods of semantic-stylistic, contextological, motivational analysis, allowing to reveal the specifics of the author’s poetic picture of the world, reflected in the inscriptions on the watercolors of M. A. Voloshin. Results and discussion. Cimmeria occupies a special place in the work of M. Voloshin – a poet, artist, translator, art critic, thinker. The congeniality of M. Voloshin as a master of brush and word is reflected in his inscriptions for watercolors. These lyrical miniatures are a separate genre dating back to antiquity, which makes the poet’s work related to the art of the East. The figurative structure of M. Voloshin’s poetic miniatures, organizing their semantic space, includes earthly (stone, water) and heavenly (clouds, moon, sun) realities and reveals, when examined in detail, the syncretism of “earthly” and “heavenly”. The color picture of the world, represented by a variety of color images, in combination with sound design, conveys the synesthesia of the author’s perception of the world. The linguistic and figurative structure of M. Voloshin’s poetic sketches is rich and diverse: the author uses numerous comparisons, metaphors, epithets, oxymoric combinations, deviations from grammatical norms, which make it possible to convey the peculiarities of the creative manner of the master-creator. Conclusion. Consideration of the linguistic and artistic features of M. | 917 | Introduction. Media discourse of public informational and media language personalities is one of topic object of research in up-to-date Russian studies in connection with the active role of information and communication technologies in modern society and the new cognitive and discursive paradigm of linguistic knowledge. Of particular interest are linguistic personalities of the syncretic type, combining several types of activities at once, performing different roles (social, professional, communicative, etc.). The aim of the article is to research the reflection of literary creative work the theme in media discourse of a famous writer and blogger Boris Akunin as a person of the syncretic type, to examine and describe his conception of literary creation’s specificity in the aspect of the author’s idiostyle. Material and methods. The author’s blogs of 2020 and interviews with his participation in 2015–2021 were taken as the research material. To study the idiostyle features of an information and media language personality and its ideas about literary creation, a complex methodology for analyzing the general idiostyle was used, developed in communicative stylistics, including consideration of 3 personality styles: cultural speech, cognitive and communicative. The methods of discursive, semantic-stylistic and contextual analysis were used. Results and discussion. The study showed that the theme of literary creation, which is a key theme for the writer and blogger Boris Akunin, has received a special embodiment, taking into account his creative personality. In blogs and interviews, both general ideas about creativity and a special author’s view of the literary process are reflected. For Boris Akunin, creativity presupposes: the continuity of the literary process, in which the author is included; freedom in choosing genres, themes, style; play as an element of creativity; intrigue as a stimulus for interest in life and creativity; development, lack of routine and monotony. Creativity is viewed by the writer as something that helps to understand modern life. The cultural and speech style of a language personality, reflected in the media discourse, allows us to speak of Akunin as a bearer of an elite type of speech culture, judging by the use of various stylistic techniques and expressive means, along with the use of both literary and (less often) colloquial vocabulary. Analysis of the reflection of literary creativity’s theme in the media discourse of personality demonstrates the combination of rationalistic and metaphorical substyles of cognitive style typical for a writer and blogger. This can be judged by the author’s admissions in his blogs, and by the answers to questions regarding creativity in an interview with his participation. The communicative style of Boris Akunin as a person of the syncretic type is characterized by the skillful use of communicative strategies to attract attention, cooperation, and encouragement to dialogue. Taking into account the addressee’s factor and changes in the dialogue with him in connection with new information technologies characterizes the writer and blogger as a modern person, who is constantly ready for changes. Conclusion. The study of the specificity of literary creativity theme in the media discourse of the famous writer and blogger Boris Akunin as a person of the syncretic type showed not only a certain variation in his idiostyle, but also the commonality of his speech, communicative and cognitive manifestations in the genres of blog and interview. The aim of the work is to conduct a comprehensive study of the functioning of comparative-assimilative adverbs of military themes taking into account explicit and implicit semantic features, to determine the composition of this thematic group and to identify word-formation features and types of combinability. The research is based on the works of Russian linguists treating comparative adverbs from different points of view and applying different scientific approaches, as well as on the works of linguists studying lexical-semantic groups of words of the “war” thematic group. The illustrative material was taken from statements from the National Corpus of the Russian language and from a free selection from the Internet. The work was carried out within the framework of A.V. Bondarko’s theory of categorical situations of functional grammar, and elements of contextual and component analysis were also applied. During the research, the composition of this group of adverbs was distributed into semantic subgroups describing the behaviour of persons belonging to different types and divisions of troops, conditions of military service, military ranks and positions. In dividing into word-formation types, a special type with a qualitative-substantive connotation was distinguished, with the meaning of places of location and dislocation of military operations. The division of military adverbs into compatibility types was carried out taking into account the connective, adversative, qualifying and explanatory relations with the main word and as the result both general (according to appearance and speech, character and behaviour, situation and living conditions) and individual semes were identified. As a result of the study, it was found that to represent the behaviour of persons, objects and phenomena of military subjects, comparative-suggestive adverbs actualize in the minds of native speakers either a well-known image in the form of background knowledge, or one of the nuclear or peripheral features.
