| 1906 | The article reveals the picture of the word as a musical image, that contains imaginative and aesthetic categories of musical perception of the audience, as well as the complicated training of the musician. Such components deal with understanding, perception and reproduction of artistic intention in vocal. Performing art of a singer is one of the most exciting directions in music, since it allows to unite instrumental and vocal sounding simultaneously, creating an original artistic vision of a piece. Therefore, there is a number of factors considerably affecting the perception of a vocal-instrumental piece by a listener including the level of one’s singing and the harmony of a piece which are most tightly connected with psychological approaches to creation of an artistic image of a performer who is acting as mediator between listeners and a musical work. At the same time, during the primary stages of training at children’s art schools, the formal approaches to creation of an artistic image are prevailing, thus creating a stereotypical manner not contributing to unique features of an artist, making creation of high quality artistic image an impossible task. Hence, based on focused research, a new set of methods for creation of an artist image in vocal-instrumental piece for students of children’s art schools was suggested. The efficiency of approved pedagogical methods is proved and is related to understanding of the word picture core by young generation musicians and the ability to reproduce this. | 1907 | The article poses the problem of reading place determining as a speech activity type in the original texts translating process from a foreign language to the native. Requirements΄ increasing to the translation skills mastering level by students of linguistic specialties determines the need for relevant knowledge actualization. This applies to both the translation general theory and certain specialized issues. The theoretical significance of the research is that the work presents a new approach to reading role understanding in translation activities. The read text-original meaning understanding mechanisms and the secondary text content formation by foreign language means from the translation process positions are presented. The foreign-language texts comprehension process occurs in a linguistic framework through the thematic words, conditional endo-lexis, asymmetry, emotional-evaluative components selection. Also, when reading, it is proposed to use strategies such as implicit information decoding, text information explicating, lexical and syntactic selection, forecasting. The proper implementation of these strategies further influences the harmonization of the original text meanings and the translation. From the properly organized foreign-language text reading process depends on the strategy choice for text translating, whether it is a translation note, paraphrase, interpolation. The research results can be used to develop understanding effectiveness increasing methods in written texts translating and translation theory courses. | 1908 | Introduction. The paper deals with the speech portrayal of a representative of the eastern branch of Russian emigration in Australia. Australia was one of the countries re-emigrated by Russian emigrants from China, particularly from Harbin, which was the center of Russian eastern emigration in the 1960s. The research was carried out within the framework of linguopersonology, a modern trend in linguistics, which studies the individual speech patterns of a linguistic personality. The purpose of this paper is to analyze both linguistic and sociolinguistic speech characteristics of a representative of the eastern branch of Russian emigration in Australia. Scientific relevance of the research results from the interest of modern anthropocentric linguistics in the linguistic personality phenomenon and in the language of the Russian emigration, which in the twentieth century existed in special linguistic conditions. Materials and research methods. The major method used in the paper is the method of speech portrayal. The research was based on the audio records of the speech of a representative of Russian emigration in Australia. These records are a valuable historical and linguistic source of information about the Russian eastern emigration in the twentieth and early twenty-first centuries. Results and discussion. The speech of a representative of Russian eastern emigration is studied as a set of proper linguistic and sociolinguistic characteristics. His speech patterns are analyzed at different levels of the language system: phonetic, morphological, syntactic and lexical. The speech analysis of the Russian re-emigrant from China to Australia demonstrates a good preservation of the Russian mother tongue at different levels of the language system although throughout his life the linguistic personality existed in a foreign language environment. His speech is not influenced by the Chinese language, which he did not know, though he spent twenty years in China. There is not much interference from the English language except for some borrowings, though he has been living in the English speaking environment for fifty years and is fluent in English. Conclusion. The high level at which the Russian native language is preserved in the speech of Russian re-emigrants from Harbin to Australia is highly dependent on the subjective factors. It is an amazing linguistic phenomenon, demonstrating the preservation of the native Russian language as a means of national and cultural identification and the main attribute of national identity. We suppose that modern media mostly pursue hedonistic aspects of broadcasting as the changed structure and new conditions of functioning increased consumer’s component of address activity. Aim and objectives. The aim of this article is to describe the specifics of the entertainment function of the media in the discursive space of convergent radio. The object of research is the discursive practice of convergent radio. Material and methods. The article considers new forms of media communication that are significant in the aspect of those technological and socio-cultural changes that led to the emergence of convergent radio. Based on the material of web pages and social network versions of radio channels, the discursive mechanisms for the implementation of the entertainment function are analyzed. On the basis of the theoretical provisions of discourse analysis and social semiotics, an assumption is made about the hedonistic nature of the entertainment function of convergent radio. Results and discussion. The work investigates the specialty of the hedonistic function of modern radio discourse. Texts from radio websites and social network versions of entertaining radio channels served as material. From the position of modern semiotics and discourse analysis, the main communicative models between the subjects of discourse, which are formed on the borders of hedonistic strategy of radio, are allotted. A big role was played by advertising discourse and PR both integrated into communication practice by strategies of radio which pursue consumer’s ideology of modern media. Conclusion. Thus the interaction of radio discourse, advertising discourse, and PR provides hedonistic effects of (targeted attention) and participation: based on action and semiotic codes the addressee forms a convenient psychoemotional area of their identity – the consumer of high-quality media products, the user of various services that replace social institutions such as libraries, cinemas, hobby clubs, etc.. | 1930 | This article is based on the theoretic ideas of Kazan linguistic school about syntagmatic relations and describes the syntagmatic relationships of the lexemes meaning “morality” contained in the novels of one of the most shocking and replicable modern writers Sergei Minaev. The main result is that the analysis of syntagmatic relations of words with moral content in the works of this author suggests the emergence of alternative ethical system in the consciousness of a native Russian speaker. In the framework of this system becomes a frequent characteristic to change positive connotation value involved in the correlation of lexemes to a negative one. In addition, under the influence of the text environment occasional syntagmatic relation of lexemes with moral value can cause the formation of new lexical meaning of the words-representatives of category “morality”. | 1931 | The article deals with the advisability of using Russian slang units in the speech of native speakers with the aim of realizing successful interpersonal and social communication with native language persons. A full understanding and mastering of the lingo stratum of the language is necessary for entry into the Russian youth communicative space and for the implementation of the strategy of linguistic self-identification and adaptation in foreign-language space with active interaction with native speakers of language and culture, especially young ones. Jargonisms are defined as nonliterary lexical units with significant functional potential realized in the course of independent attempts to interpret their semantics by secondary linguistic personalities in the context of their existing background linguocultural information, as well as in situations related to the use of jargon in their own speech in the process of interaction with Russians carriers. The creation of background information is facilitated by the regular demonstration of videos from various Russian youth shows and television series on Chinese websites. Acquaintance with these video materials determines the penetration of Chinese carriers of Russian jargon, especially those used by young people. The factors that determine the cases of inadequate interpretation by foreigners of the semantics of Russian jargon and the features of their functioning in everyday communication are analyzed. Among them are the following: differences in the culture and mentality of the Russian and Chinese peoples, the inadequacy of the lexicographic base, and a small number of actual educational materials that meet the modern educational requirements, and the lack of systematic knowledge of the specifics of the slang stratum among most inophones and its place in the structure of the national language. | 1941 | Nowadays language education is undergoing serious anthropocentric transformations. Teachers, who creatively process foreign experience, conduct a deep search for activity-oriented methodologies, including a maximum of interactive forms of instruction in the lesson. One of the most effective among them is theatricality. We view theatricality as a highly effective pedagogical resource that generates the communicative and discursive multicompetences, motivating students, fomenting their socialization and increasing the attractiveness for them of a foreign language lesson. Dramatizing practice implements pedagogical activity approach. Theatrical episode is a kind of public speaking, which develops various subspecies of human intellect. In theatre plays, everything is important: words, voice, speech tempo, timbre, pause, glance, gesture, movement, body language. It is very important working with gestures, obligatory in theatre situation, because traditional lesson blocks gestures’ aspect. The student learns to impress play-partners and feel this impact as some kind of a psychological victory over oneself. A specific contact with others on professional subjects occurs. Students see themselves forced to develop certain proper tactics contacting and influencing the others. It is very necessary in life and profession. | 1948 | In author’s opinion on the ancient history of the Northwestern and central Northern Caucasus was closely linked with Indo-European migrations from Central Europe in the second half of the 3rd – beginning of the 2nd centuries B.C. The first migrants to this region consisted of the mixed groups of Indo-Europeans and non-Indo-Europeans that can be corresponded to the Tocharians (Afanasievo culture) and formed pre-Maikop cultural horizon with the horse-head scepters. The second stream of the European population that reached the Caucasus included the “Ancient Europeans” (AE – ancestors of the Slavs, the Germans, the Balts, the Celts, the Italics), and the Anatolians as well. The dolmens under the barrows in the Northwestern Caucasus were left by them. The archaeological equivalents of AE groups settled in the central part of the Northern Caucasus are the kurgan burials of the Kuban-Terek culture that dated from 3rd -2nd centuries BC.
