| 3451 | Question of the reception of the ideas of enlightened absolutism A. N. Radisheva is one of the most discussed among domestic researchers. Opinions on the issue can be divided into two groups. The first is that Radishchev was negatively disposed to the theory, the second believe that the writer was kind of hoping for the possibility of the existence of an enlightened monarch. The work is the study of attitudes of the Soviet researchers on the question of the relationship of the writer to the idea of enlightened monarch, as reflected in the notes to the word “samoderzhaviye” in the translated book by the French philosopher G. Mably “Reflections on Greek history or the reasons of the prosperity and misfortunes of the Greeks” and his major work “Journey from Petersburg to Moscow”. As a result of the study with the involvement of writer’s texts it was concluded that the greatest validity has the opinion on the commitment of Radishchev to the theory of enlightened absolutism. | 3452 | The article discusses the establishment and development of saving banks in the Yenisei province, their organization and activities in pre-revolutionary time. Historiography of savings business in Russia is quite extensive, but there are no summarizing research on the history of the savings system at the level of a particular region (including the Yenisei province). It characterizes of the Yenisei province from the position of socioeconomic development and justification of the importance of savings and credit partnerships for the region. It describes the role of the Yenisei Treasury Chamber as the primary state institution in the formation of the financial affairs of the region in the pre-revolutionary period. This period characterizes savings banks as a self-help facility for people, so that there was a process of increasing it’s network. Represents the influence of the State Bank on the socioeconomic status of the region and its role in the financial and credit system of the country. It reveals a special way of development of savings banks in the Yenisei province and changing the attitude of Siberians towards these types of institutions. Analyzes the evolution of the number of savings banks both on Russian and regional level, as a result it makes it possible to talk about the assessment of their development prospects. In this case, a clear boundary is drawn between culture and civilization. Civilization in this article is characterized as a matrix of supranational standards and patterns of human behavior. According to the opinion of the prominent orientalist V. M. Alpatov, due to the factual nature of the lexical-semantic system, the names of objects, phenomena, processes, relations, etc. are the supporting framework of the system of relations of each national culture and reflect its related, imperious, structural and economic, etc. traditions. In this case, the direction and strength of the epistemological, axiological and pragmatic vectors of the nomination process determines the worldview factor, i.е. the sum of philosophical views on the world order. The pragmatic factor serves to fulfill the functions of criticality and veracity of the resulting artifact of linguistic knowledge - the name. | 3454 | The article analyzes the little studied component of the national culture – the religious artistic discourse of the first third of the XX century: lyrical texts, created mainly, in the conditions of exile and camps of 1920–30. Tatyana Nikolaevna Grimblit’s literary heritage, extracted from archival sources, is compiled into scientific circulation. She composes several dozen poems, which can be regarded as a kind of an auto-commentary on her life. The poetic texts of T. Grimblit are lined up in a certain plot, revealing the main landmarks of the heroine’s spiritual path and reflecting the appearance of the epoch. The religious-ethical picture of the world of T. Grimblit is investigated, based on the Christian doctrine and defining the specifics of the chronotopic system of lyric poetry. Specifics of the spatial poetics of lyrical texts T. Grimblit are determined: the principle of dichotomy, which includes an image of an obese socium, on the one hand, and sacred reality on the other. To the spiritual sphere is not only the world of the soul of the lyrical heroine, but the images of natural being, incl. Siberian chronotope. The ways of modeling the movement of Siberia in the lyrics of T. Grimblit are analyzed: retrospective, implicit, natural philosophical. The chronotope of Siberia is recreated in a retrospective aspect and with an implicit position, which determines its positive characteristics in the text: as a native space for the heroine, performing the functions of protection and being the source of inspiration. The Siberian chronotope is comprehended by the author in the natural-philosophical aspect: as a sign of the divine presence in the earthly world. The natural-philosophical interpretation of the image of Siberia in T. Grimblit’s lyrics is supplemented by an indication of specific toponyms, as well as an appeal to universal formulas that go back to the folklore tradition. We introduce superspaces based on supercoset manifolds SU(2|1)/U(1) and SU(2|1)/[U(1) × U(1)]. | 3466 | Introduction. The study of precedential phenomena is extremely important for modern linguistics. They can be explored in different spheres and aspects, which depends on the aims of research. This article deals with precedential phenomena in political discourse. Aim and objectives. The aim is a comparative research of national precedential phenomena which function in Russian political discourse and of their translation into the English language. The objectives of this paper are to define methodology of the research, to select the necessary language material and to find the ways of translation of precedential phenomena taken from Russian culture into English. Material and methods. The methodology of the research is based on the cognitive linguistics theory. The methods are cognitive modelling, discourse analysis, comparative analysis. The selection of the material was carried out with the solid sampling method. To analyze and systematize the material a method of description was used. The material for the study were sampled out from the official website of the Russian president Vladimir Putin. Results and discussion. The results of the research showed that political discourse is a very productive sphere for the creation of national precedential phenomena. As a rule, precedential phenomena in political discourse are very specific. Their source can be found either in the sphere of politics or historic events of the nation. Precedential phenomena in political discourse usually have a short life span. There types are precedential texts, names and expressions. While translating national precedential phenomena, interpreters prefer to use concrete definition, equivalents or analogues of phraseological units. Sometimes precedential phenomena are lost in translation. Conclusion. So national precedential phenomena represent an important characteristic of political discourse. They serve as a link between the author and the recipient, make the speech more vivid and emotional and influence the audience in a specific way. But their national peculiarities often impede the translation process. Anyway some knowledge of cultural sources is necessary for correct interpretation and understanding of precedential phenomena. At the same time, one should not draw conclusions about the formation of adaptive and communicative skills of the child, when assessing the type of attachment based only on the maternal style. However, avoiding attachment leads to the formation of aggressive, shy, and rejected children, which contributes to the development of various deviations. | 3483 | In the article the issues of penitentiary staff training during the first years of the Soviet government are revealed. These issues are of concern for research as one of the underworked topics in native science. The author focuses on the events connected with it, on historical and pedagogical experience, trials and errors of pioneers of Soviet penitentiary staff training system. Chronological boundaries of the article are determined by the major events of Russian history, which were highly influential on the process of professional penitentiary staff training. The lowest boundary begins in October 1917 with inauguration of Bolshevik regime. The highest is connected with the Second Congress of penitentiary affairs officials of the RSFSR held from November to December 1924, after the agreements of which systematic solutions of the issues of Soviet penitentiary staff training became possible since the second half of 1920s. The first agreements of the government during the first years of Bolshevik regime concerning penitentiary personnel policy and shifting penitentiary priorities are revealed. The central place in the article is devoted to the revealing of external and domestic factors undermining the professional penitentiary staff training and having a negative impact on the possibilities of penitentiary personnel policy in that period. The conclusion about the role of the first educational endeavors’ of Soviet government in foundation of the Soviet system of penitentiary staff training is stated. On the basis of a linguo-stylistic analysis of articles from English-language military journals, the authors study the language means of expressiveness of military publications, a deep knowledge of which allows the reader to understand not only the informative, but also the emotional element of their content. The aim of the work is to describe the variety and features of the use of linguistic means of expressiveness in modern English-language military publications. Material and methods. The authors studied dissertations and scientific articles in periodicals on the philology of Germanic languages over the past 10 years, as well as publications in such English-language military journals as Air Force News, Australian Defense Force Journal, Canadian Military Journal, Defense Turkey, Raider, covering the activities and state of the armed forces of Great Britain, the United States, Australia, Turkey, Canada and other states. General scientific methods of theoretical analysis, observation, generalization, and concretization are used. Results and discussion. A review of publications on the philology of Germanic languages over the past decade confirms the insufficient knowledge of the problems of the use of language means of expressiveness in English-language military publications and the relevance of conducting more in-depth research in this field of linguistics. Analysis of the content of English-language military journals indicates that military-political and scientific-technical styles dominate in articles of military orientation, although they also combine elements of artistic, conversational and advertising text, and the combination of elements of various functional styles in journalistic texts gives them not only typical features, but also expressiveness. The language means of expressiveness used in military publications can be divided into three groups: phonographic (alliteration, rhythm, morphological and lexical repetitions), lexical (epithets, metaphor, playing phraseological units, jargon) and syntactic (one-part sentences, emphatic constructions, inversion, antithesis, direct speech, quotation), the main function of which is to inform, attract attention, influence the reader, introduce certain psychological attitudes into his subconscious. Conclusion. In this paper, for the first time, the features of the use of language means of expressiveness in modern English-language military publications were analyzed. The results of the conducted research can be practically applied both for further theoretical study of the problem under consideration, and practically for improving the quality of foreign language education of cadets and students of military educational institutions within the framework of both the main training program and during training at military translators ‘ courses under the program of additional professional education.
