| 4304 | Despite the disposition of the theater of the absurd for linguistic minimalism, the plays of the British theater of the absurd possess a great phonographic potential due to the generic features of the dramatic text. The article explains the paradoxical ability of the dramatic text to transfer performer’s phonostylistic means through the author’s remarks, special syntactic constructions and graphic tools. The identified phonostylistic and graphic means in the absurdist plays by Samuel Beckett, Harold Pinter and Tom Stoppard do not only help to convey the authors’ ideas, but also conform to the philosophy of the absurd. The most represented means is the instrumentation based on different sound repetitions (alliteration, consonance, rhyme) with the use of sound symbolism. The phonographic analysis of the texts also revealed some cases of onomatopoeia and paronomasia. Rhythm has a special stylistic meaning in the drama. It is inherent in both theatrical actions and speech, which is reflected in the dramatic text. The article considers the ways of creating a specific slow, monotonous rhythm peculiar to the theater of the absurd with its idea of cyclical existence. The described examples confirm the stylistic markedness of the plays of the theater of the absurd which can be an object of further research in linguistics and stylistics. | 4305 | In accordance with the personality-oriented and practice-oriented approaches, the article introduces criteria and scales for evaluating the results and the process of project activities, which foreign philology students practise while developing primary professional skills and preparing for pedagogical practice. Projects developed and implemented by students are usually individual due to the interethnic nature of student groups. They contribute to the development of intercultural communication, since in the course of projects the undergraduates introduce Russian speakers (and representatives of other nationalities who speak Russian) to cultural and linguistic features of their native countries and at the same time are becoming more and more aware of the cultural and linguistic features of the country of the studied language (Russia). In this regard, the understanding of project-making technology and the consideration of a number of factors (social and cultural, linguistic, etc.) are very important for the teacher. The knowledge of these allows the teacher not only to help foreign students in choosing the topic and the master class for the project, in arranging an individual trajectory of the project activity and in the timely and qualitative implementation of the tasks set, but also to adequately assess the results of the activity. The method of projects is based on the project practice, according to which at each stage (preparatory, main and final) certain skills such as reflective skills, search for information skills, presentational skills, organizational skills, communication skills and skills of group and individual work are formed. In this regard, the choice of assessment tools offered in the article (report on the results of the project; the project data sheet; the summary of the project; presentation; photos and videos; essays; student’s work review ; training; discussion) is justified taking into account not only the goals and objectives of project practices, activities, specific aspects of evaluation (project development, results, its structure, presentation), but also the list of competencies being developed, among which the most important are communicative, intercultural and information ones. When defining criteria and indicators for certain assessment tools (essay, summary, etc.) State Educational Standard in Russian as a Foreign Language, which sets out the requirements for specific communication skills (e.g. writing skills and speaking skills), and Federal Educational Standard of Higher Education 45.04.01 Philology play an important role as regulatory documents. The number of criteria and points is determined on the basis of the methodological importance of specific evaluation tools. The teacher’s review of the student’s work during pedagogical practice is of particular importance when counting the total number of points which can be scored for the project. The five-point rating scale is adopted for the final mark for the whole project as it is considered the most comfortable and familiar for both teachers and students. | 4319 | Introduction. In order to describe modern practices of verbal communication used in various spheres of personal and institutional communication, it is relevant to analyze communicative strategies and tactics carried out within the framework of discursive and pragmalinguistic studies of modern linguistic material. Internet communication provides a wide range of opportunities for the analysis of speech strategies within this type of discourse. The aim of the work is the analysis of verbal and nonverbal means of implementing the strategy of distrust in online comments on YouTube. Material and methods. The materials of the study are 43 comments to 14 videos about the German mobile application called “Die Corona-Warn-App”. The randomly selected comments were subjected to contextual, semantic and pragmalinguistic analysis. Results and discussion. We can define an online comment as a genre of public discussion, a multimedia phenomenon that functions as a sociocultural tool significantly contributing to shaping public opinion and as a means of linguistic construction of social reality. The speaker’s intention or attitude towards a certain object of reality is expressed with the help of various communication strategies and tactics. Taking into account the criterion “communication balance” we can distinguish two groups of communication strategies: cooperative and noncooperative (cooperation and confrontation strategies). Conclusion. Strategy of distrust is considered as an assertive communication strategy and is based on the evaluation criterion which differentiates the speaker’s attitude according to the “good-bad” scale. Thus, a speaker evaluates a certain event or an object on the basis of its relation to “normality”. By means of this strategy a speaker can express criticism and skepticism in relation to a particular event or phenomenon. This strategy includes a set of tactics: exaggeration, intimidation, allusions, ridicule etc. In online comments strategy of distrust is expressed by various verbal and nonverbal means which can be used both separately and in certain combinations. Examples of verbal means include allusions to negative historical and social phenomena, words with negative connotation, obscene language and various stylistic devices that emphasize the negative attitude of commenters towards the topic. Nonverbal means include capitalization, excessive use of exclamation marks and emojis. | 4329 | In the historiography the process of formation and development of Russian national organizations, as well as their participation in the restructuring and the dismantling of the Soviet system is poorly studied. Studies show that during this period they participated in the struggle against the CPSU and leftist movements, providing support for the “right” for liberals and democrats, advocating in their programs the need to abandon the planned economy and the multinational state. The analysis of works of nationwide historiography allows us to conclude that the use of Western Siberia materials and involving them in the context of Russian national research organizations is not enough. | 4330 | This article is devoted to consideration of ways of conveying surprise in the artistic texts of I. A. Bunin compared to the translations into the Chinese language. From the point of view of cultural forms associated with the expression of emotions, traditions of transforming culture can be in different positions in relation to the source. In the present work, three groups of investigated units were singled out: 1) a way to express emotions in case of coincidence of the original and of the translating cultures; 2) a method of expressing emotions in the case of partial matches between the original and translating cultures; 3) a way to express emotions in case of discrepancy between the original and translating cultures. In Bunin’s fiction the emotion of wonder is expressed in three ways: nominative; descriptive; actually emotive. Translation of a literary text is inevitably exposed to the influence of the interpreter’s national picture of the world because of its conditionality to the language and culture of the people. In addition, the translation of a literary text helps to better understand the national, cultural-linguistic sense of the art work, and in several respects reveals the native Chinese speakers’ language picture of the world. | 4331 | Introduction. The purpose of this research is to develop the concept of a dictionary of gender-marked vocabulary, which reflects the concepts of male and female in the Middle Ob region dialects. The study is novel in that it shows the creation of a dictionary that reflects the male and female spheres in their complex sociocultural interaction and regional specifics for the first time in Russian lexicography. The dictionary includes dynamic parameters of gender vocabulary, and as a result their informative capabilities are expanded. The applicabiliry of creating a dictionary of gender-marked vocabulary is coming from the nesessity to form a source study base for studying Siberia as a structure of steadfast development. At the same time, it can be used to identify factors contributing to the preservation of the traditional Siberian culture. Material and methods. Autobiographical texts recorded from 1946 to 2016 on the territory of century-old traditional dialects distribution in the Middle Ob region are used as the source. The study is carried out using the lexicographical method, the advantage of which is that one can study in detail the objects of lexicography, as well as their features and functioning in the language. Results and discussion. The dictionary includes gender lexical units that are part of the gender conceptual sphere. The dictionary includes both direct nominations of concepts (the core of the nominative field) and the nominations of individual cognitive features of a concept (periphery of the nominative field). The dictionary is formed according to the thematic principle and contains the following groups of gender-marked vocabulary: general denomination of a person depending on gender; nominations indicating age and marital status; units reflecting family hierarchy status; denominations representing biological features that are specific only to a certain gender individuals; nominations reflecting traits of character, appearance; ones that call men and women by professional activities, labor processes; ceremonial words; nominations, characterizing the female and male spheres. The structure of the dictionary entry consists of three main parts: headword part, interpretation part of the capital lexical unit, illustrative part. Conclusion. The dictionary supplements the multifaceted description of the Middle Ob dialects. At the same time, it contributes to the new aspects’ identification in gender analysis. The concept of the dictionary is based on the theoretical provisions of gender dialectology and dialect lexicography. All components of a dictionary entry (headword, definitions, notes, illustrative material) reflect the richness of folk speech, testify to a more fragmented division of the world, carried out on other grounds than in the literary language, and reflecting the specifics of rural society and traditional culture. | 4332 | Introduction. Nowadays linguists are increasingly interested in studying the terminology of professional sublanguages from the point of view of a cognitive approach. Cognitive frame modeling of terminology systems is becoming relevant being an effective way of representing the terminology of a special sublanguage. The aim of the work is to create and describe the cognitive frame model of the terminological system of the subject area “Building materials” in modern Russian. Material and methods. The material for the study is the terminological units of the subject area “Building materials”, selected from lexicographic sources on construction, regulatory documents, scientific papers, commercial catalogues of construction products, and professional internet websites about construction. The research methodology is based on general scientific and linguistic methods of descriptive and comparative research methods, including methods of linguistic modeling, framing, definitional, oppositional analysis as well as quantitative analysis. Results and discussion. The article identifies the main concepts of the frame approach to the study of terminology. The theoretical basis and interpretation of the concept of frame are presented, the frame structure used in this paper is developed. The work presents the frame model of the term system of the professional sphere “Building materials” in Russian. The paper defines the main subframes of this field: “Wood Materials”, “Ceramic Materials”, “Stone Materials”, “Glass Materials”, “Metal Materials”, “Cement”, “Concrete”, “Construction Mixes”, “Binders and Materials”, “Polymer Materials”, “Isolation Materials”, “Roofing Materials”, “Finishing Materials”. The analysis reveals the hierarchical frame structure, consisting of 13 subframes with their subsequent division into slots, micro-slots, and semantic groups. The study presents a detailed description of the subframe “Wood Materials” and the micro-slot “Composite Wood Materials” as well as semantic groups that are part of them. Various types of semantic relations between the terms representing the cognitive-frame model of the term system “Building materials” are revealed. Conclusion. The cognitive-frame model of the term system “Building materials” allows to present a hierarchically organized system of knowledge about a given subject area in a structured form and to identify system relations between the components of the term system. The presented fragment of the frame model illustrates the intra-system relations of the terms that verbalize it. The results obtained are of interest for terminology studies and can be used for educational and lexicographic purposes. | 4348 | Introduction. In order to increase the effectiveness of the educational process, learning should be deliberate. The introduction of the model of tutor support into the educational process will solve the problem: to teach to learn. The learner becomes independent, with the correct attitude in life and the skill of self-organization. The tutor plays the role of a consultant, teacher, psychologist, coordinator. Aim and objectives. To substantiate the effectiveness of using the model of tutor support for students in the educational process of the secondary vocational education system. Material and methods. The article uses the data of the selective federal statistical observation of the employment of graduates who have received secondary vocational and higher education. A survey of students, graduating groups of the institution of secondary vocational education. Theoretical research methods were used; empirical methods: analysis and conversation. Results and discussion. The modern world is an environment of global instability and dynamic changes in all spheres. Therefore, potential employers highly value not only the professional qualities of their employees, but also social and psychological qualities (Softskills): communication, leadership, team, entrepreneurial skills. Employers note the lack of Softskills competencies among graduates of educational institutions: weak motivation and inconsistency of personal qualities (self-organization, motivation, initiative, responsibility, desire to learn) Among the most significant characteristics, graduates of the secondary vocational education system named: motivation; experience; general impression; professional competencies; ability to learn; IT-competence. According to the results of introspection, they also tended to give a low assessment of their level of development. And they expressed an opinion about the need to pay more attention to the development of personal competencies in the learning process; skills that will allow them to be competitive in the labor market, such as communication skills, personality marketing, time management, etc. In order to solve the basic problem of secondary vocational education: the intellectual, cultural and professional development of a person and the training of qualified workers or employees and mid-level specialists in all main areas of socially useful activity in accordance with the needs of society and the state, as well as meeting the needs of the individual in deepening and expanding education. The feasibility of introducing tutor support into the educational process is considered. The tutor plays the role of a consultant, teacher, psychologist, coordinator. On the basis of individual educational routes, the tutor achieves the formation of a harmonious, socially responsible personality of the student, focused on self-development and self-realization. In the model of tutor support, training is built taking into account the individual characteristics of each student, which allows him to maximize his potential. Conclusion. The model of tutor support should be considered one of the most promising. First, a tutor is a psychologist who helps a student to understand his inner problems, motives, desires, abilities; understand resources and limitations. Achieve a balance of desires and possibilities. Secondly, a tutor as a teacher teaches (forms the ability) independence: to set goals and objectives; identify opportunities and resources; develops the ability to act and the willingness to take responsibility for the decisions made. The third most important component: a tutor is an educator who builds the correct attitude to the world around him and himself; preservation of national identity, respect for the native language, culture and patriotism. The fourth vector of a tutor’s work is career guidance work. The development and movement along an individual learning path requires the tutor to be competent in the field of professional training of his ward. | 4349 | The article is dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the publication of the first edition of A. M. Volkov’s fairy tale “The Wizard of the Emerald City” (1939). The work uses for the first time the handwritten collection of the children’s writer A.M. Volkov, stored at Tomsk State Pedagogical University. Manuscripts allow one to penetrate into the writer’s workshop, to trace the formation and development of an idea and the course of the creative process. A comparison of the structure of chapters in the 1936 manuscript and the 1939 edition made it possible to identify changes made to the composition (deletion, introduction of new ones, merging chapters). In addition, the article provides fragments of manuscripts from 1936, with which A. Volkov planned to supplement the text, but did not include them in the printed version of 1939. Analysis of the drafts gave an idea of A. Volkov’s work with character names. It was important for the writer to find equivalents to the names in F. Baum’s fairy tale, so that they would be understandable to the Russian-speaking reader and optimally reveal the character’s image. The writer worked on the largest number of name options for Scarecrow. Of particular interest is the manuscript of fragments of A. M. Volkov’s play “Flight to Fairyland” based on “The Wizard of the Emerald City”. The manuscript is introduced into scientific circulation for the first time and commented on. The diary entries of A. Volkov and the unusual image of Goodwin in fragments of the play (a black slave Uncle Joe who escaped from an exploiter) indicate that the writer tried to submit to circumstances, adapt to the requirements of censorship, inscribing a fairy tale plot into the traditions of social literature of the late 19th – first half XX century. However, the incompleteness of the play’s concept can be explained by both external (the onset of the “thaw”) and internal (unwillingness to obey the political situation) reasons. The manuscript of “Flight to Fairytale Land” is published in full in this issue of the magazine. Keywords: memorial collection of children’s writer A. M.
